A couple of years ago I brought my six-yr old Papillon, Lindsay, to Dr Innes after she had torn her ACL in her hind leg. She could not use the leg at all. I had consulted with a large clinic in Ventura, but left feeling that it was almost "factory surgery", along with a price quote that seemed quite high, although I ultimately wanted the best care and and outcome for her. After going to Dr Innes, where I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff, he examined her, gave me a thorough presentation of what needed to be done, and the potential outcome, not to mention a reasonable price for surgery and recovery, he ultimately performed the surgery and follow-up therapy. Dr Innes made it very clear that he would be available for any questions or concerns during that time (and he was!!). Three years later, Lindsay runs and moved as though she had never had a surgery, and I truly believe her recovery was aided by the care and professional attention she received from Dr Innes and his staff. Makes me wish he was in my Anthem network....I have recommended Village Vet to *everyone*! Read Less

He truly cares about all animals and is very kind to humans, as well. My dogs have both had serious surgeries and he is extremely skilled.
