Where do I start? Dr. Jackson, Walter and Greg are so amazing (and continue to be)! I've been a customer for quite some time now and I have to admit I have not received this level of care, customer service and compassion from anyone else (Dr. Jackson, Walter and Greg). Full disclosure, my German Shepherd doesn’t enjoy the drive to see the vet as much as I enjoy going there, but he’s always happy coming back. Which is to say, he’s treated very, very well. I entrust Dr. Jackson with now my third darling companion’s health needs. There are several other choices nearby (I’ve been to three of them), but WCPC is my favorite. I use to think the doctors and staff at Warner were great, but not so any more. My one sheltie had a tumor on his stomach area and I kept asking Johnson when should we remove it? It wasn’t until it was huge and weighed at least a pound that she finally agreed to remove it. ( it was a soft tissue sarcoma which she never informed us of. My dog was so traumatized that he went into serious panick attacks any time we went back and decided I couldn’t put him through that any more. ...( The sarcoma eventually came back because she didn’t get it all and never spoke to us about cancer treatments. We had it removed somewhere else before it got too big and he’s doing well). Then my other sheltie came down with kidney failure. We brought him to Warner where they kept him over for a few days for fluids. When we asked to speak to the doctor, we were told she was “too busy” and had to speak to her through messages back and forth with the staff the whole time he was kept there! I cannot thank the team here at WCPC enough. Thank you so so much for saving my dogs leg. Thank you doctor deb. I went to the emergency last night on winnetka and Ventura  and they quoted me an astronomical price that I could not afford and they threatened to take my dog if I didn't pay (scam artist). My baby broke her front right leg and doctor deb and the team worked with my budget and made sure that my puppy was ok. They even bathed and trimmed her nails. I can't stop crying in appreciation of how kind this hospital is. I've been coming here for years and can't imagine going anywhere else. This place was my last resort. I went to two different pet hospitals and all three said something different. Seems like Depression, Uti, prostrate infection, cyst, tumor,I Left confused each time.  The only thing I'm grateful for is the woman squeezing our big guy in for a emergency appointment and the X-rays.   We brought Clyde in last week. The person "helping" was no help at all. It was impossible to get in touch with him to get the results for the testing. (I paid a lot of money to get the results back asap). For some reason no one in the office could have helped me and the "only"person who could talk to me was the first... I don't even know this persons job title, receptionist? Every time I called to reach him, I got a rude woman asking me to call back or she'll have him call me back.   I did get a very vague voicemail saying Clyde had bone cancer and what looks like prostate cancer. We just wanted to know what was it that made him so sick and what we could have done for him :'(   He lost control of peeing and his back legs, underweight and tired. This morning my family decided to lay Clyde to sleep with a home euthanasia service.   I will never bring my other babies here. Read Less

I want to say a massive thank you to Dr Jackson for saving our little pug Moose's life, we turned up unannounced on a Saturday morning and they looked at her right away. A bit frustrating. Website says walk in welcome and hours are from 7:30am. I showed up at 8:30 and was told the vet won't be in til 930. So I did all the paperwork in order to save time. I come back at 930 and even though all my paperwork was filled out they hadn't yet made my chart. So I waited another 30 min while other walk-ins came and were helped. It's just an inconsiderate way to treat people who have other time obligations. My first time here, so Hopefully the level of care my rescue cat is receiving in the back room without me is better than the office decorum. Overall I am writing this in order to give constructive criticism. The staff's manners were awesome. Maybe the veterinarians are too lax.Read Less

Too much to say about the love and respect I have for Dr. Jackson and all the people at WCPC! I have and have had multiple pets (many breeds that are difficult to care for due to predisposed medical issues that most vets are not willing or able to care for properly. Dr. Jackson saved my render Bulldogs life with her incredible kindness and unparalleled surgical skills. This breed is notoriously hard to anesthetize and I would never trust anyone but Dr. Jackson with any of my pets! Walter, Claudia, and everyone at WCPC have become somewhat family to me by their inherited warm nature to both patients and their owners! They go above and beyond!!! Too many examples o that to list! Lastly, I have never had a vet who really is in this for the LOVE o the animals. She does not gouge you with prices of services you don't need! She works with you on cost and does everything to avoid higher cost that are not necessary even if you ask for it she will give her honest opinion! How many times has that happened? I will NEVER allow any of my pets to go anywhere but here and I drive a distance to go, but no amount of time travel is too much for the comfort in the care your pet receives!Read Less

When my cat was in labor her for her first time. It was premature ..i went to my local vet who wanted to charge me for emergency spay. High dollars an lost of her Fertility. I called around..and a vet assistant who overheard the conversation....and used to work at warner center. Gave me their number. I was quoted a reasonable price for the c section and they said they would see me immediately. I did the drive...after my local vet overcharged me for an oxytocin The staff was courteous. And although the kittens didnt make it. My female went on to have three very small litters. Of which i have a pet boy...and her life to thank for. For emergency c sections i highly recommend Warner center. They would be my go to Vet for such an instant for the rest of my life. Read Less

I drive over an hour to Warner Center because Dr. Jackson is a fantastic vet, and her staff is caring and compassioate. They understand all of the issues I have with show dogs. If there was a zero star rating I'd give it. But this will have to suffice, and hopefully the staff and Doctors will take heed and improve. I've gone to this Vet for years and have always thought they were a bit cold and lacked the warm loving tendencies you see in most animal lovers, especially vets! I never thought they even remotely liked my animals. I should've changed Vets a long time ago. My 12 year old Beagle got Lymphoma and I was never contacted. They say they tried to call me...but I never received a message on either of my phone numbers, nor did I get an email to let me know the terrible news. Needless to say, months went by where I could've treated my beloved Beagle, if I'd only known. I brought him in for a check-up and was told far too late about the cancer. They tried to appease me with a price break, but I was far too distraught to think that would solve anything. Shame on them. I thought I'd post this for everyone's benefit and to help reconcile or avoid this tragic negligence in the future. RIP Brody. Read Less

I will never be able to thank Lydia Duarte Castagna, the brilliant Dr. Jackson and the wonderful staff at Warner center pets for giving us 3 extra years with our beloved dog, Lucky. They saved her life and the compassion showed when it was time for her to go was unbelievable. Lydia, I can never thank you enough for being there for us during that time and with Lucky at the end. It was what got me through it. Also, as many times as Lucky was at the clinic, she was always so excited to get through the door and visit with everyone. Horrible experience!!!! Wish I would have read the reviews on this place before taking my baby to these people. The staff from the beginning gave me a doubted feeling, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then, I spoke with the vet Debra Jackson. It was weird because Debra the vet started asking me personal questions, instead of focusing on my dogs issue?? Funny thing is once I told her I had a fiance her attitude towards me totally changed for the worst. I sensed the hostility so I decided to grab my dog and get out of there. Left my dog with Debra Jackson for a routine teeth cleaning in Feb 2014, 4 hours later I get a call from Warner Center Pet Clinic saying my 3 year old (perfectly healthy) dog had passed away. WTF!! I I go there to talk to the vet (Debra Jackson) and she would not come out to talk to me! I waited 3 hours and nothing. Then they tried to charge me a $400 bill. I refused to pay and they replied by saying "if you don't pay the bill, we cannot give you your dogs body back" I felt like pulling my hair out of my head! Just last week I recieved an invoice from a collection agency charging me $400+ on behalf of Warner Center Pet Clinic (unf***inbelievable!) Found lot of trouble at this great clinic. I would not recommend it for canine reproductive issues in breeding your female despite it's prior reputation. If you need one of the veterinarians for an emergency or a C-section I think you will be well served and happy; however if you are seeking help with your breeding program including artificial insemination and progesterone testing I severely advise you to look elsewhere. This clinic exposed my bitch to unnecessary risk (uncleanness, aggressive and sick dogs present, rough handling,) improper diagnoses.... she was diagnosed with everything from a vaginal stricture to cysts none of which was true, rude treatment by vet tech and staff, lack of information (the clinic was very slow in responding to questions verging from no response to very confusing and finally extra charges to ask a simple question.) While an AI may certainly fail given the outright misrepresentation, poor timing, handling, confusion, and misdiagnoses I would warn others to not use this clinic. After my bitch failed to conceive I was again given a misdiagnoses (sight unseen) and referred to another very costly procedure. All and all this clinic cost me a great deal of time and money. In the end I received better and more accurate advice from my general veterinarian surgeon. My bitch happily bred and whelped without AI, C-Section, drugs or any other costly interventions. I have spoken to at least half a dozen others with similar complaints occurring at the same time and I suspect there are far more. On their second time around on their following heat cycle there was success but this cost, aggregation, risk appears to be due to mismanagement, faulty care and wrong diagnoses. If you do have a problem there immediately seek a different opinion even if you have to travel a long way... it would be worth it.Read Less

Our two Labs, Olivia and Ginger were referred to Warner Pet Clinic once they were were retired as Guide Dog Breeders from Guide Dogs of America. Since then, they have received nothing but the finest care from Dr. Jackson as well as the rest of the staff. The front office is always friendly and accommodating and the Vet Techs are great. Took our new Jack Russell Terrier pup, Bella, to Warner Center Pet Clinic for her check up and all her shots and the service has always been excellent. Each time I took Bella in they cut her nails for me and gave great advice when needed. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
