Dr. Berens and staff are amazing! I took in my blue & gold Macaw (Charlie) because he had been limping for a few days and wasn't getting better. I called on a Sunday and I was surprised that they were able to see me that same day! It just shows you the compassion they have for the animals they treat. I had to pay an additional $20 since it was an 'emergency' visit but it was well worth it and completely fair.After Dr. Berens treated Charlie and sent us home with medication, Charlie was back to normal in 2 days. They wanted to check up on Charlie but since they didn't have my new number, they sent me a letter by mail telling me that they had tried to reach out to check on Charlie and wanted me to know that they didn't have my new number. Great customer service!!Thank you Dr. Berens and staff! :)

West Valley Pet Clinic has been my go to Vet for YEARS! From my large 110 pound lab Calvin to my little 8 pound Maltese Lexc, to my even smaller 3 pound Maltese/Pekinese Papa. My cats loved it here too when they were still alive. They always took great care of my Chanel and Gorgio. Clean office and great staff. Knowledgeable and compassionate! Technically, they do a good job. However, I'm really unimpressed with their customer service. Our cat had surgery in May. It took two weeks for me to get them to call me back (as promised when we took her home) with the results of her tests. Finally one of the vets (not the same one we'd originally scheduled with) phoned me, gave me some information, and PROMISED to email the results to me so my husband and I could look at them. It's been another two weeks and no email. I'm phoning again tomorrow, but not holding out much hope.

This Vet was extremely helpful. Even on a Sunday with last minute notice they were able to give us an appointment for our sick chicken, Lucy. The staff was extremely helpful and the Doctor was very professional and cared deeply about the well being of our chicken (she isn't really a pet since we use her for egg laying but we care about her health). The doctor came up with a care plan with a very reasonable price (only $240 for visit, treatment, and an overnight observation). We unfortunately had to decline because it was too far from our home (about 30 miles) and out of our budget for a chicken that didn't cost us much to begin with. In the end we just paid for the consultation and some medication which totaled $89 (again, very reasonable for the amount of information and care we received). If you have anything from a chicken to even a more exotic bird I highly recommend this Veterinarian, she is worth the drive.

I have absolutely never had a problem with this clinic. The staff is amazing and the Vets are just as great. I don't ever find their prices to be outrageous and they are always very open about the charges they give you.
They call you to remind you about appointments, send you cards and even have an entire online system that allows you to see what has been and needs to be done. I love they are the open 7 days a week as well!

My chinchillas' favorite place to come!! Dr. Berens is awesome & makes sure to accommodate your pet.I took in my chinchilla for weight loss and she knew all the right tests to run, he ended up having a lot of issues stemming from one. Medications were easy to pick up, everything was easy for me to understand. He got his health back & I trusted dr. Berens after the first incident so she ended up neutering my chinchilla.Only great experiences here, highly recommended!

I know the review below mine is not even close to accurate, I had 2 dogs from the day they were born and got all there shots and procedures in other vets when I lived in other locations. When I moved to West Hills I googled vets in the area and found them. They were extremely pleasant people to deal with. Then one of my dogs got pregnant and I took the entire litter of 4 puppies to them and they took care of all the shots and everything needed for the puppies and it was not even close to what I paid for my other dogs. The doctors and nurses (or whatever you call vet nurses?) were very caring and very kind to me and my dogs. I have and will continue to recommend and obviously come back :)

Technically, they do a good job. However, I'm really unimpressed with their customer service. Our cat had surgery in May. It took two weeks for me to get them to call me back (as promised when we took her home) with the results of her tests. This Vet was extremely helpful. Even on a Sunday with last minute notice they were able to give us an appointment for our sick chicken, Lucy. I know the review below mine is not even close to accurate, I had 2 dogs from the day they were born and got all there shots and procedures in other vets when I lived in other locations. When I moved to West Hills I googled vets in the area and found them. They were extremely pleasant people to deal with.
