I'm so glad I found this vet. One of the first veterinarians that doesn't smell like pee. For dental work on my dog it's very reasonably priced. They don't put the dog to sleep while cleaning the teeth and use dental tools. Such a great dentist for dogs. I don't recommend grooming here at all. My dog was shaved entirely too close. Best Clinic in Southern California. Knowledgeable Doctors there have taken care of all my animals and always give you the best advice when it comes to your pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else when my animals get sick! When i'm on vacation my pets enjoy boarding at Canyon Hills as well. 5 star clinic! Read Less

I would like to start off by saying thank you to Michael Turano and his amazing team at Canyon Hills Animal Clinic. You guys are the most experienced vet medical team my family has come across. Right from the get go the absolutely wonderful lady who runs the front desk answered every question which gave us feeling like there was nothing stupid we could ask and made us feel like we had all the time in the world for our concerns making us feel very at home. Next the wonderful nurse who assisted and Mr. Turano was fantastic! From the moment she came in the room for the initial check she concerned herself with us and us only. She was gentle with our sick cat, considerate of what we were dealing with and very knowledgeable. It honestly felt like she loved our cat too(absolutely priceless and thank you). Like most hospitals waiting for the doctor does take time and we understand that but I don't think we waited on Dr. Turano for even 2 minutes before he came in. (Now we did not expect that ok, clinics can be busy but he wasted no time on giving us/kitty the attention we needed). Once Dr. Turano came in it was the same experience as the nurse. He was there for us, next he wanted to be straight up truthful with our options. He was extremely gentle with our cat and never at one point tried to feed us any crap suggestions. It really felt like he came down to our level explaining and helping us understand what was going on with out sick cat. He actually spotted things with our cat in 5 minutes a previous vet never saw! Now the scary part, the cat has to go in the back alone for testing without us! Scary right? We have all heard the stories about animals being quite upset after they come out from the back room so the girlfriend and I were prepared to say absolutely not if we felt uncomfortable with the doctor but this was absolutely not the case at all. Dr. Turano was amazingly gentle with our cat and even picked him up and comforted the cat in his arms the same way I do giving my cat a completely comfortable feeling(priceless again)! You see he didn't hold our cat out like he was some specimen with his sick legs just dangling, he loved our cat! Now our kitty man wasn't in the back with Dr Turano for more than 10 mins and when he came out he was just as calm as when he went in. I want to say thank you for treating our cat as your own, it was very soothing for all of us! I guess for a final word we felt we got our moneys worth and then some. We didn't get any un needed suggestions and it was clear the Dr. first priority was telling us the truth about our cat and his possible future. STATUS OF CAT- Better, at the moment taking a kitty nap(seems like he hasn't closed his eyes for a week) were waiting on test results in the morning. But we know this for sure that my girlfriend, me and Mr Simon kitty set out to find the best help for him, searching forums, calling vets, taking him to 1 vet appointment previously, just searching for the best info we could get and we found this place. No matter what happens to our cat we can sleep better knowing we put in the extra effort to find a suitable vet for all of us, and we did. I will recommend this vet to anyone I get chance to. These guys should teach a class. Seriously from walking in the door to walking out the door these guys are a step up. Thank you guys for giving us the peace of mind that us as owners made a great choice for our loved, unique, talkative man cat. lol. Thank you just doesn't seem enough! Took my dog to a Dr. Turano. He was really sick for two days. I was really worried. The vet office was friendly and told me not to worry. They were affordable and timely. Bandit was out in a couple of hours and feeling great. Hadn't had any problems since. Turn out he ate some trash and had bones stuck in his stomach. Would recommend to anyone. Great place. Read Less
