Our doggie had to come in for eye removal surgery due to a tumor forming in her eye. The staff was so friendly over the phone. Before even booking our appointment the doctor called to make sure we felt comfortable with choosing his facility over a specialist. I am so glad we brought our doggie here. I felt very safe and comfortable leaving our dog with them for surgery. Our dogs procedure went wonderfully and she's on the road recovery. I highly recommend this vet and his team. Read Less

Dr. Glynn is the most caring vet we've ever known. We get the overwhelming impression that both he and his great staff truly love all animals, no matter how long they have known the animal. He will make recommendations for specialists when it is in the best interest of your pet. He will help determine the root cause of issues so that you can make informed decisions about your beloved pet's health. He takes the time to give the attention needed and deserved by your pet, as if it were his own. Dr. Glynn understands our pets are family - he has said it himself. Read Less

First of all, what kind of vet charges you an extra $50 to allow you to be in the room when your pet is being euthanized? Second of all, have these people never heard of sedation? They are rough and cruel. Our family dog was put down today, and my mom and sister (who were by her side) are in tears because not only was it a hard decision to make, but the vet and his assistant made it all the more difficult. They didn't sedate our dog. The assistant grabbed her by the neck and held her down while yanking her paw out so the vet could jab the needle in. And they didn't even have the correct dosage - they had to leave the room to get more, giving our dog time to get scared. Our dog was a docile dog, and she got violent and fought them when they came back to jab her the second time. Then they brought our dog's body out in a box through the lobby, for everyone to see. They didn't even bother to wrap her up! I will never, EVER recommend this business to anyone. Thanks to these people's incompetence, my dog died scared. For people who make it their life's business to work with animals, they sure lack compassion! Read Less

The vet is nice and his staff are nice, as well. They charged $41 for the frst dog, and 20-something for the second, so the fact that they discount for each additional dog is cool. The only bad part was the cost. They don't inform you of the costs as they go. $30 for ear drops that cost $11 on amazon, but I understand the price difference. The cost of the shots were reasonable, but charging for "cytology" is something that should be discussed prior. Anyway, two dogs amounted to $254 :( Just make sure you ask questions. Nail clipping is free, but most vets will do that. I would go back, but I would tell them to let me know what the costs are before the services are executed. I do like the fact that they have 3-year shots (dap), and I'm pretty sure that was $13, so not a bad deal. Read Less

Okay it was the middle of the week just before 5pm. Paris was not doing well. We found her on my sisters farm in the dead heat of summer. She was in great discomfort. Her sides were swollen to quadruple the width of her body. She was not eating or drinking. My sister said she was in labor but nothing was happening. My Mom and I knew she was in danger. When the vet at Adobe Animal Hosp. saw her he said she did not look good. He examined her and determined that she and ALL of her puppies would die if he did not perform a c section immediately. We asked him to fix her so she would not have to go through this again. He said it might be dangerous to put her through so much but he would know more once he went in.  We all made guesses about how many puppies she would have and then we went to dinner.I had just moved here from the bay area and I was not familiar with the area. I think we ended up at Chilis. The vet said we had to take Paris home with all of her puppies that night. He said he would be finished with her at 7:30pm. All the staff at the hosp. were wonderful caring people. I have never seen a vet office so affectionate and genuine with both people and animals. The bill came to $1400 since she needed both surgeries and they made recommendations on how to pay. Since we had just moved, our financial burden was pretty steep so my mom got the animal care credit.I was guessing 7 puppies TOPS. Paris had 14 healthy puppies! UGH. We took them home in a box with surgical gloves that were filled with warm water and covered with a towel to emulate the mother. The vet assist said she tried to identify all the different breeds that were present in the puppies. She and again ALL the staff were supportive and kind. Paris was wiped out. Aside from coming off the meds, she was so gaunt. See pics. She did not accept the puppies. We sat up with her all night in shifts to feed and care for the puppies. We could not have done it without the help of my nephew. Mom and I are too old for such exhausting exercises. The vet said it could take Paris a couple of days to come around but she totally rejected the puppies. It was just too much for her to bear with all she had been through. We ended up finding a couple of rescue organizations to take the puppies and whelp them. They were taken in three groups over three days. Only two did not survive, but it was a heroic effort and I commend everyone who helped out. Animal Save and Sammies Friends were the biggest contributors. See other reviews. Read Less
