Took my dog in because of two problems with two different feet/legs. $400+ later didn't find the sticker in his paw and they had no idea why he couldn't put his weight on the other. I don’t often leave reviews but I truly had a positive experience here. My dog doesn’t do well at vets. He gets anxiety and hates feeling confined. After a bit of a long wait for an exam room at our first appointment, the assistant worked really hard to earn my dogs trust. She got on the floor with him, fed him lots of healthy treats, rubbed his belly, scratched his chest and ears, and made every effort to make him comfortable. I can’t say enough how much I appreciated her efforts. Previous experiences at other vet offices were not nearly so comforting. I didn’t catch her name, but I will keep taking my pup to Davies because of that experience. Read Less

It was the best way i could have ever asked for, for taking my cat to be euthanased. The ladies there let us stay as long as we wanted or needed too with her. And the price was the best in town. Superb customer service all-around. We had to put our 17 year-old dog down recently, and it was EXCRUCIATING. The vet techs handily performed the tough job and empathetically cushioned the blow. The staff also offered a glazed ceramic cast from our dog's paw print impression, which we ordered without hesitation. I regret to say my only experience with Davies was for euthanasia. It's a truly dreadful experience. But warmth, compassion, and a pronounced love of animals set this hospital apart. Read Less

Recently I came in, early for my appointment. I had 2 small terrier size dogs to get their parvo shots - from a tech. I had to wait over 30 minutes - other dogs came in and were seen, there did not appear to be any emergencies. It was an uncomfortably rude encounter that I had never experienced in all my years with Dr. Black - even though I never saw him this visit. The whole experience makes me want to find a new vet. My young dogs need more shots but I was not given a follow-up appointment for them. The following review was from years ago: Dr. Black and his team are the best. The most caring vets and staff. Our elderly dog has needed his fair share of visits. They are excellent towards us and our dogs. They have great prices and genuinely care about our older dog and have never made it about money. I'm extremely picky on how I'm treated and how our pets are treated and I expect a lot. Beware most of the excellent reviews were a year ago when the real Dr. Davies was still there. Since he left the whole office has become very rude and money orientated. They do not care about your pet only the money they can get out of you. Steer clear if you can! Dr. Davies we miss you! You were an awesome vet. Davies staff what happened to you? I honestly feel safe bringing my pets here, I love my animals like family and I will pay for proper care of them. At Davies my pets have received great care at a price that is fair. Dr Davies was thorough in the evaluation of my pet and spent time with me explaining what he did and what he did or did not recommend. He also answered any questions I had and was honest and compassionate to my situation. The office staff too were very helpful and considerate to me and also treated me with respect.
