So I've had to come to this place 2 times. First time was a parcel scare when my boy was still really little. They were really good with my pup. Second time was for my other pup. I am so very pleased with JONATHON. He is a medical assistant up front who has always gone out of his way to help out with my dogs issues and medications. Today he did above and beyond when he searched for a price match. My pet has liver issues and will be on pricey meds for the rest of his life. Jonathan found a $40 savings one one med and I was thrilled. I would of given a better review if they hadn't raised their prices and if they would bend at times or appease their guest when it comes to pricing. Dr Nawar is an awesome doctor and seems to care for his patience but his prices are higher than others when compared. I do appreciate the long, extended hours they provide. If your dog needs to visit the vet, you can't do any better than Green Valley Veterinary Clinic. We've been going here since we first rescued our dog 6 years ago, and have never had a poor or worrisome experience. Our Australian Shepherd mix is a rescue who was abused and lost on the streets of Rialto, and as a result, he is socially anxious. Every nurse and doctor we've met with has calmed him within a few second, and he transforms into the gentle, sweet dog we see at home. From the weekly shot clinic, to checking over battle wounds from opossums and rats, I am never concerned about the treatment and respect my dog and I receive.Bonus points: The clinic waiting room and patient rooms are clean and well lit. i have only been here a couple of times and once was just a phone call but the staff cares and is well educated. I was worried about my dog and ready to rush in when one of the techs told me to calm down (in a very respectful way) and my pup is probably fine, just change his diet to rice and boiled chicken and if that does not help his stomach then bring him down in a couple of days.Mt dog is now perfectly healthy again, they have my loyalty by proving to me they care more about my dog more than the money they can make off of me. My son boards his dog at Green Valley frequently. Duke was boarded over Memorial Day. I offered to pick up Duke for my son before he got off work. He told me how much the bill would be and said he would pay me back. The bill was TWICE as much as normal. When I questioned them, I was told they had raised their price. Nice that they let their clients know - NOT!! No signs, no postcards, nothing!!I have a dog that gets frequent ear infections. I asked if the doctor would give me refills when needed because she gets recurrent ear infections. I was told yes as long as the doctor saw her. I took her in, got treatment, and medicine. Today when I asked for a refill, I was denied because the doctor had not seen her since November 2016. I had a wonderful veterinarian thatwould renew prescriptions at least for a year but, unfortunately, he retired after many years of great service.Green Valley just lost me as a customer (with 2 dogs) and my son (with 3 dogs). So I've been helping my best friend with thier beautiful new furbaby. At first i was happy with dr. Nawar. But after several trips back to thier office. I can honestly say the staff does not follow thru with nothing. They are only interested in making money. Dr. Nawar and nurse Robert were exceptional in taking care of our dog Leo. He had to be hospitalized for three days since it turned out he had diabetes. They called us twice a day with updates and we were allowed to visit him every day. They took the time to explain everything to us and show us how to administer insulin. The entire staff is very caring and attentive. They were upfront with the charges so nothing was a surprise. Leo is starting to feel better and we are so thankful to Dr. Nawar and his team! Beware of Green Valley Veterinary in Yucaipa!!!I don't like being lied to, and I don't like being taken to the cleaners, both of these things happened about 20 minutes ago, when I picked up my dog, from Green Valley Veterinary in Yucaipa.3 weeks ago I made an appointment to have dog's teeth cleaned, and his nails trimmed. Green Valley Vet used to have a special, on teeth cleaning, in Feb to March, when I called, the person on the phone said that they didn't "do specials" anymore, and that it was the low "special" price all the time now. LIE!!When I signed in, and after I signed the form, I was never told what the Actual Price was, (every other vet I've ever been to, lets you know up front, how much a procedure will be), I assumed, (Stupid Me), that it was the $175 "special" (which we'd had done, just last year, and included everthing for a teeth cleaning), because that was supposedly the everyday price now.WRONG!!Stupid to assume, but I'd always been told in advance, wether something was a "special" or not, how much a procedure would be, and usually in writing. Not this time, and now I know why.They asked me to sign one more form, that stated that the bill "could be up to $585", if multiple extractions were necessary. The young woman assured me that if that were true, they would call me first. When I went to pick my dog up, the bill was over $400. "Did you do a tooth extraction?!?", was my incredulous exclamation."Oh no, his teeth were fine." I was then informed that the procedure, alone, was $225. When I asked why so high, if it was supposed to be THAT "special" price all the time now, I was told."Oh, we have the special until the end of March, it's over now."So, when I made the appointment, the "person" on the phone, not only lied to me, but neglected to inform me that they actually DID have a special, and that it would end, 3 days AFTER my appointment. They Didn't Even Kiss Me!!!!So basically, I had to ransom my dog back, from Green Valley Veterinary in Yucaipa.Needless to say, we will never darken their doorstep, nor fatten their bank account, ever again. We became clients of Green Valley Vet Clinic when Dr. Diana Stiles relocated to their facility. She is the best of the best -- we drive 1.50-hrs (one-way) to get here from Chino Hills and she's worth it. She's helped us and our babies through some very difficult illness, the long-term type where you see or speak to your vet more than your neighbors. She went out of her way to make herself available and offer guidance even when we were away on a road trip, 1000-miles away. Our experience with other professionals at Green Valley has been outstanding. The front desk folks are kind, thoughtful and helpful. New in the area with a sick puppy. We found Green Valley veterinary clinic and could not be happier. They have taken such excellent care of us from our very first phone call to inquire about an appointment for my 10wk old puppy. Dr. Stiles has provided the best of care. She is kind, patient and an excellent veterinarian. I believe she saved our pups life. I'm so thankful we found her in our time of need and we will continue to come back for all our pets needs. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. Prices are fair.  Dr. Nawar is a wonderful Vet as well, showing compassion and taking the time to answer all of my questions. My review is mixed. This was our first time at this Vet Clinic. We experienced good and bad. First of all I want to give the Vet 5 stars he was nice and treated us well and answered all our questions and concerns: ( he seemed very knowledgeable) The night girls were nice. The girl that we paid at the end of our visit was really nice, I can't remember her name. Blood was taken and upon that we found out she was dehydrated. The vet suggested she have an IV and then if that didn't make her feel better we were to come back and do an X-ray of her stomach to see if there was something more going on. We went home. Upon getting home we noticed our dog was completely immobile. We had to carry her into the house, she no longer can walk. We called the office the next day and the way we were treated by the girl that answered the phone made us realize we will NEVER EVER come back to this place again. She told us we declined the X-ray ( in which my husbands response was, actually no we didn't and the X-ray was for her Belly not her hips. So next time you wanna call someone out get your facts straight ( I think her name was Sam). This girl is so rude, I actually can't believe she deals with the public. When the Vet Tec took our dog back for blood work and IV they hurt her and she no longer can walk. So thanks for being so gentle with my 10 year old dog!! Read Less

I took my last dog here when she got sick, and had a pretty good experience. Wait time was short, Dr. Newar was really good with her and was really straight forward about all my options and I really appreciated that. I read some of these bad reviews and it made me feel hesitant about bringing my new dog there, but decided to go because my last experience was good. I'm glad I did. The wait time was again very short, the waiting room was clean. The techs were so sweet and helpful. This time we saw Dr. Silas (I think her name was?) and my dog fell in love with her. She was really friendly, knowledgeable and gentle with my dog. Everyone was great, I was in and out quickly, and my dog actually loved it there haha. I think they put new tile in the exam rooms which makes it look nicer. I'm glad I took the risk, and this will be my family vet for a long time. Read Less

I've been going to Green Valley Veterinary Clinic since Dr. Ellis was the owner. Honestly, I wasn't there that often. However, as of 11/17/16, when my 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer had his first seizure, I've been there just about every week. Turns out, my baby boy has idiopathic canine epilepsy. Dr. Nawar and his staff are amazing. He has so much patience going over everything with me and answering all of my questions. He also has a very friendly demeanor and a great sense of humor. To me, that is also very important, to me it makes it feel more personal and shows how much he cares not just about his patients, but the owners of his patients. All of that really helps put my mind at ease and makes me so comfortable with him caring for my baby boy.His office staff has been so patient with me for my many calls and questions as well. Came in with my sick dog instead of helping the dog get better. They care more on how to get the money first before treating my dog.i also told them I would do a payment plan but they wanted the full amount on hand. I didn't have the money on hand but told them I would do a payment plan . Nope they wouldn't treat my dog . They care more about money then my dog's health. I had to take my dog home and watch her in pain. DO NOT GO TO THIS VETERINARY CLINIC. Update on my dog she is back to her normal self happy and healthy pup. After making an appointment to come in for the first time, it didn't take long to figure out it would be my last. The minor: The waiting room appeared filthy. There was balled up pet hair EVERYWHERE. I sat on a chair while waiting the nearly 30 minutes past my appointment time and had hair all over my clothes when I stood. I understand it's a vets office, but this appeared as if there has been no sanitation or cleaning conducted in awhile. Very unappealing!Also, a patron had brought in their dog for shots. They actually came out and said they did not have a room available; therefore administered the vaccines in front of everyone sitting in the waiting room. I don't like to see that happen for my own pets, let alone watch it in a waiting room. Seemed unprofessional and uncomfortable. The straw that broke the camels back:Dr. Nawar displayed zero character or personality. He will never earn our families business by acting so pompous - certainly, we will not refer anyone there, either. He entered the room like he was being bothered to be there. He never even physically touched our dog, who was sitting on the floor in the exam room. Dr. Nawar stood by the door and "assessed" him visually only. Wrote a script for something (that never worked by the way) and was in and out in 120 seconds. We paid the bill and left.Not my idea of a great practice that I would ever want to bring my pet back to. I guess all the good feedback I used to hear about this place was for the previous doctor who retired, Dr. Ellis. It does not help that an employee (acting like a PR rep) from Green Valley went on a local public forum page to shout from her hill how disappointed she was that there was so much negative being said about Dr. Nawar and that he was still "learning himself". It tells me that it wasn't just us who felt let down at some point or another, as others have obviously voiced the same opinions and she felt the need to defend it. Also, if you look at other reviews, you'll see that Dr. Nawar jumps on people when they leave an unfavorable review. What a major problem this practice has! At this pace, he will  run a well established and trusted business into the ground. This place was a huge disappointment! I am so very pleased to have Dr. Nawar at Green Valley Veterinarian Clinic following the retirement of Dr. Ellis. I found Dr. Nawar to be a very competent Veterinarian and I believe he will be a great asset in Yucaipa. Dr. Nawar listened to our concerns regarding our Yorkie and discussed issues he found. Dr. Nawar is a soft spoken gentleman who looks at your eyes when he talks, making me feel that he really shares my concerns about the health of our pets.Yucaipa should be proud to have a man the caliber of Dr. Nawar as the new owner of Green Valley Veterinary Clinic. I was sorry to see Dr. Ellis retire and wish him the best ... BUT I can't tell you how pleased I am with his replacement! Dr. Andrew Nawar is wonderful! My husband and I have an elderly dog who has been through some difficult medical challenges. Dr. Nawar has been so kind and generous with his care, not only for our dog but for us as well. He truly treats the whole patient. He is friendly and open and really listens with an open heart. Every time we are in his office, even if just for shots or medication and he sees us, he makes sure to greet us and takes the time to chat and catch up with us. His staff is such an integral part of his practice and he makes sure he recognizes their efforts with his patients. Would I recommend his office? With a resounding YES! Some years ago, it was at the end of the month and I was out of money. Some 3week old Kittens has been abandoned by their Mother. So, I needed some Baby Formula for Kittens and these damned Hypocrites wouldn't do a damned thing to help! All I asked for was enough Formula to feed the Kittens with until the following Month.
