This seems like a nice, small neighborhood vet office. I don't understand why I had such a horrible time with them. We picked this clinic for a routine vet for my pug, just needing annual heartworm and vaccines.
Every year they educated me on an elective surgery that would improve my dog's breathing. I hadn't heard of it before, but the 3rd time they mentioned it, I thought maybe I should do it while he's young to recover fast. Again, this was an elective surgery they recommended.
So, we schedule this very expensive ($500+) surgery, I drop off my dog in the morning and I paced at home for hours, I was so worried. I finally got a call at 2pm and I think it's done, but was told the laser didn't work and my dog was all sedated, intubated, and catheterized, but all they had done was a dental exam and clean. I was confused, like bewildered, what do you do when your vet doesn't do what you had agreed on? I was assured we could reschedule and the costs of the sedation, etc would carry over. I was mortified, I had a drugged dog and not a lot to show for it. I was a fool, I paid that day, suckered by the sweet faces of the techs that hadn't done anything wrong.
So I simmer for a while then I calm down and reschedule 6 months later. I was then told that no, they had no record of any costs carrying over, I would have to pay full cost. In shock, I talked to the vet, who acted like all of this was my fault and said the most he would help was a 30% discount. I was accused of waiting too long for this elective surgery.
I'm so mad that my blood boils thinking of it. I trusted this place. Why did they grift me? Read Less
