I really liked the vet and the vet tech that my dog, Houdini, and I worked with. The vet, Ryan, got down on the floor to examine my husky, and came up with a diagnosis that seemed to fit the symptoms....
I really liked the vet and the vet tech that my dog, Houdini, and I worked with. The vet, Ryan, got down on the floor to examine my husky, and came up with a diagnosis that seemed to fit the symptoms. He was very responsive to any questions I had, and seemed to get along with my sick dog. The vet tech, a very nice woman, was kind and caring towards my pup, and tried to make him feel at ease. She even answered some follow-up questions for me when I called later on that afternoon. Unfortunately, my dog had a tumor that burst on his heart and we lost him that evening, after visiting them earlier in the afternoon. The emergency room vet let us know that there was no way to predict that or tell what happened until he passed, and there was nothing to be done to save him. They were very kind, and helped us cope with our sudden loss.I called Mission Viejo the next morning to inform them that he passed. I also calmly let the woman know at the front desk that she charged my card three times, and that I had already reached out to the CC company to dispute the extra charges, so there was no need to refund anything. In response, the woman was rude and gave the most half-hearted "sorry for your loss" I've ever heard. She didn't even ask if we knew what the cause was or anything.I know that was our first visit to that vet, because we already had a provider for our pets but couldn't get in that day... but still. That experience showed me that they didn't even care to learn what the cause was, or if it was something that could have been prevented, or if it was even something to learn about to prevent in other dogs. No follow-up, nothing. We will not be bringing our other dog there.

I have been taking our 3 Italian Greyhounds to Mission Viejo for years. And couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The level of care they provide is astonishing. I tend to ask a million questions whenever we go and they are so kind to answer them all and not behave as if I am monopolizing there time. Dr. Louderback was kind enough to show me the operating rooms and kennels when I expressed being nervous about procedures that require anesthesia. The place is spotless! Well kept with someone monitoring all animals on site. The front office staff is wonderful, super welcoming and kind. If your in the market for a new Vet, you can't go wrong with Mission Viejo.

He is friendly, thorough and my dog's LOVE him. Seriously, they can't wait to go back to the room. All of the staff are wonderful, friendly and treat my dogs and I like family.

I visited Mission Viejo Vet Hospital yesterday with my 3 dogs. Dr. Louderback was great. Very patient with all 3 of my crazy pups. He even explained, and showed me, a problem that one of my babies is having and gave me his honest opinion on how best to treat/handle the situation.
I can see why Dr. Louderback and Mission Viejo Veterinary Hospital has been in business so long. Everyone there was patient & professional. Much better than other veterinary experiences I've had in the past.

With one intermittent exception, I have lived in the same house since 1979, right up the street from Mission Viejo Veterinary Hospital.This clinic has now taken care of a grand total of seven of my cats, and done so in an exemplary fashion. The staff are knowledgeable, caring and very service-oriented, and I think the prices are reasonable given how in-depth (and frankly nasty) some of the things they have to perform are.I honestly cannot say enough about the way MVVH has helped us out over the years - even when the news is bad I can rest assured my kids are in good hands. I highly recommend them.

I have been taking our 3 Italian Greyhounds to Mission Viejo for years. And couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The level of care they provide is astonishing. I tend to ask a million questions whenever we go and they are so kind to answer them all and not behave as if I am monopolizing there time. We have been going here since 1984 and even through a few moves around town, we have stayed here. Dr. Louderback has taken excellent care of all of our animals through the years.
