I really liked the vet and the vet tech that my dog, Houdini, and I worked with. The vet, Ryan, got down on the floor to examine my husky, and came up with a diagnosis that seemed to fit the symptoms. He was very responsive to any questions I had, and seemed to get along with my sick dog. The vet tech, a very nice woman, was kind and caring towards my pup, and tried to make him feel at ease. She even answered some follow-up questions for me when I called later on that afternoon. Unfortunately, my dog had a tumor that burst on his heart and we lost him that evening, after visiting them earlier in the afternoon. The emergency room vet let us know that there was no way to predict that or tell what happened until he passed, and there was nothing to be done to save him. They were very kind, and helped us cope with our sudden loss.I called Mission Viejo the next morning to inform them that he passed. I also calmly let the woman know at the front desk that she charged my card three times, and that I had already reached out to the CC company to dispute the extra charges, so there was no need to refund anything. In response, the woman was rude and gave the most half-hearted "sorry for your loss" I've ever heard. She didn't even ask if we knew what the cause was or anything.I know that was our first visit to that vet, because we already had a provider for our pets but couldn't get in that day... but still. That experience showed me that they didn't even care to learn what the cause was, or if it was something that could have been prevented, or if it was even something to learn about to prevent in other dogs. No follow-up, nothing. We will not be bringing our other dog there. Read Less
