After meeting Brenda at a networking event, we starting taking our dogs to her for surgeries at Parkside. She is so passionate about what she does! She spayed our Aussie about 6 months ago and recently neutered our German Shepherd. They also recommended preventative gastropexy which we also had done. Recovery was easy for both. The team at Parkside were great about following up with us to see how our pups were doing after their surgeries and were helpful with all the questions we had. Thank you Parkside! Read Less

I just got a mini Aussie. It is my first puppy and was aware of the challenges in raising a first time pet. I chose Parkside because they offered a free first time visit and I am completely satisfied with my first visit. The assistant was knowledgeable and put me at ease, as well as answered most of my initial questions. Dr. Winton was incredibly nice, detailed, thorough, and fast. The report they emailed me later in the day was incredibly thoughtful and informative. I couldn't imagine that any other clinic would have been able to do better for a first time visit. I fully trust them with my first pet and thank God I came across them. I look forward to working with them in the future. Read Less

You guys are amazing! You have taken care of four of my animals -- my last dog, Molly, my current dog, Isabella, and my two cats, Aspen and Pyewacket. We took Aspen and Pyewacket in several times for shots and problems with their Herpes, all going really well. Pyewacket became really sick with diarrhea and we took him to see Dr. Barrow. She was able to diagnose him with IBS based on previous tests and didn't make us go through a thousand dollars worth of re-testing to figure… this out. After we started treating him with a different diet and giving him some medication, he was perfect! Last year, Molly was 13 and became very sick, so we took her in to see Dr. Winton (for the first time! We had never met her before and were SO NERVOUS!) and she was nothing but kind and sweet. She was able to feel several tumors and show them to us and we were totally devastated -- we had REALLY wanted to put Molly down at home, but she was so sick that we couldn't wait. While we were sitting there debating and asking whether she was in pain, Molly crawled into Dr. Winton's lap and we knew that she was saying it was okay. Dr. Winton was incredibly generous and allowed us to pray and do our weird Buddhist traditions and gave us the time to say goodbye. She held our hand as we cried and honestly, it could not have gone any better. It was awful to say goodbye to such a loved girl, but Dr. Winton made it a million times easier. When we got Isabella, we were super excited. We immediately took her in to see Dr. Winton who gave us a lot of information on the breed (well, she's a sheepadoodle, which is a relatively new breed and she didn't know much, but we had always had poodles and knew NOTHING about old english sheepdogs, so she was able to tell us a little about them.) She made sure she had all of her shots and checked out her hips and gave us all the information we needed. We also got her spayed there and the woman that did her spay (was it Dr. Eisenhauer? I think so! I know they have someone there who ONLY does surgeries) was WONDERFUL. Bella had gone into early heat and she was really great about that and able to also give us a lot of information. Bella healed perfectly and we came in again for some garbage gut (she also got giardia right before the spay and they were great at treating her and postponing her spay until she was well enough) and all around everyone has been wonderful. Whenever we have questions, we just call the nurses and ask them to have the doctors call us back and they always do. Sometimes things get lost when it's busy and we need to call again, but they're nothing but kind and apologetic. The nurses are super sweet, too! Everyone is great to our babies and makes us feel right at home. I recommend Parkside to everyone in Aurora -- they're fantastic! Thank you guys so much for being such a great team! xo Afficher la suite Read Less

Dr. Brenda Eisenhauer gave a fabulous presentation at the Aurora Chamber of Commerce yesterday. She shared her vision and mission for her Veterinary Practice in Aurora, as well as her experiences advocating for animals of all sizes and shapes all around the world (very touching stories about the koalas!). Our little girl Sadie (Teacup Chihuahua weighing 4.82lbs) has had a rough start in her first 2 years. She's had a broken leg, 4 surgeries done on a luxating patella (knee cap that moves around) and she's allergic to a vaccine or two. We are very cautious when it comes to her health. She's very sweet natured and loves her mama and papa to death after all she's been through. We trust Parkside more then any other clinic. They've always done great by our Sadie and our other dog Snickers! I would highly recommend this team. We know they see our pets as we do, like family! They truly care about our dogs and their wellbeing. Trust me I say your visit isn't just income to them. They care! Dr. Heyman is amazing as well as her staff. I have a cat with odd respiratory issues. Dr. Heyman not only sat down with me and discussed all potential diagnostic options but really got to know my cat as well. Rather than just placing him on the table and examining him she sat with him in her lap and interacted with him while checking him out. You can tell that she cares about the pets and their people. She even cared about my little mouse who recently passed. So glad she is around. Read Less
