You guys are amazing! You have taken care of four of my animals -- my last dog, Molly, my current dog, Isabella, and my two cats, Aspen and Pyewacket. We took Aspen and Pyewacket in several times for shots and problems with their Herpes, all going really well. Pyewacket became really sick with diarrhea and we took him to see Dr. Barrow. She was able to diagnose him with IBS based on previous tests and didn't make us go through a thousand dollars worth of re-testing to figure… this out. After we started treating him with a different diet and giving him some medication, he was perfect! Last year, Molly was 13 and became very sick, so we took her in to see Dr. Winton (for the first time! We had never met her before and were SO NERVOUS!) and she was nothing but kind and sweet. She was able to feel several tumors and show them to us and we were totally devastated -- we had REALLY wanted to put Molly down at home, but she was so sick that we couldn't wait. While we were sitting there debating and asking whether she was in pain, Molly crawled into Dr. Winton's lap and we knew that she was saying it was okay. Dr. Winton was incredibly generous and allowed us to pray and do our weird Buddhist traditions and gave us the time to say goodbye. She held our hand as we cried and honestly, it could not have gone any better. It was awful to say goodbye to such a loved girl, but Dr. Winton made it a million times easier. When we got Isabella, we were super excited. We immediately took her in to see Dr. Winton who gave us a lot of information on the breed (well, she's a sheepadoodle, which is a relatively new breed and she didn't know much, but we had always had poodles and knew NOTHING about old english sheepdogs, so she was able to tell us a little about them.) She made sure she had all of her shots and checked out her hips and gave us all the information we needed. We also got her spayed there and the woman that did her spay (was it Dr. Eisenhauer? I think so! I know they have someone there who ONLY does surgeries) was WONDERFUL. Bella had gone into early heat and she was really great about that and able to also give us a lot of information. Bella healed perfectly and we came in again for some garbage gut (she also got giardia right before the spay and they were great at treating her and postponing her spay until she was well enough) and all around everyone has been wonderful. Whenever we have questions, we just call the nurses and ask them to have the doctors call us back and they always do. Sometimes things get lost when it's busy and we need to call again, but they're nothing but kind and apologetic. The nurses are super sweet, too! Everyone is great to our babies and makes us feel right at home. I recommend Parkside to everyone in Aurora -- they're fantastic! Thank you guys so much for being such a great team! xo Afficher la suite Read Less
