They had good Customer service 8 years ago when I moved to Broomfield. I have seen it decline over the years. I gave them 1800 dollars to save my Rottweiller to only put her down the same day. Then I lost my job and as a Bday present my mom paid 300 dollars for shots for my 2 dogs. They understood and took her credit card saying just bring her back for the booster. My puppy needed just a second shot which was prepaid in 3 weeks and Laurie tried to charge me another examination fee of 85 dollars when the Vet specifically told me bring her in and it's a quick shot you will be in and out in minutes. The vet simply checked her heart beat gave her the shot and left. Laurie the office manager tried to charge me another examination fee of 85 dollars. She would not hear me out and screamed at me so I just left. They knew my situation and refused to uphold their word. Total joke. The front desk people are rude as well and talk about other co workers in front of a customer. I don't know what happened to this Vet but they suck now and don't deserve to be the votes best Vet in Broomfield anymore. Read Less

This is the best place to take your four legged friends. I lost an 11 year old dog and they were so wonderful and caring. They provided me with the facts so I could make the correct decision and know it was the right one. They sent me a sympathy card, which was very kind and then I received a letter from CSU, they made a donation in my dogs name. They are now taking care of new puppy. Read Less

Great place! So we've been with them for about 6 years now. Maybe more...at the time our dog Tiki had a horrible stomach issue that caused diarrhea, vomiting, and in a few cases a lot of blood in his stool. We tried many vet places and had to take him to a few after hours animal hospitals. Our dog getting sick every few weeks or at least once a month was something that occurred for about a 2 year span. So a lot of money later and no idea why he was getting sick we were at wits end. I decided to bring him to Laurel Vet Clinic primarily because it was close to my work (although not close to my home). The Vet listened to his symptoms and prescribed him some pills to give him with his food. We were sure this was not going to help but we tried it, and to our surprise this helped our dog out TREMENDOUSLY! He still got sick every once in a while but the frequency went down to may a few times or just one time a year! Since then that original Vet who saw our Tiki has retired but we stayed with Laurel because we trust them. Great place, always nice, so if you're in the area and looking I'd recommend them. I have been taking my huskies to Laurel since 2014. They were rescues with a history of abuse and are other dog aggressive. The staff and all of the vets have taken amazing care of the boys, especially when one ate a leather belt and had to have it removed. They adore Dr. Schuster. Read Less

AVOID THIS CLINIC IF YOU VALUE YOUR PET'S WELL-BEING! If I could give this business negative stars, I would. They tried their hardest to get me to consent to unnecessary and expensive tests that they couldn't explain or provide a price estimate for, would not answer billing questions, were incredibly rude and unsympathetic (we thought the dog was dying, and they didn't act like they cared at all as they continued to loudly talk over us about how we were risking his health by not letting them run their tests). They never explained anything about his treatment (what it does, how it is administered, side effects, etc.), nor did they give me a straight up answer on what actually needed to happen because they kept trying to squeeze money out of us. When I told them I didn't have money for their tests (which would have doubled the cost of the already wildly overpriced procedures they performed WITHOUT MY CONSENT AS HIS OWNER), only for the treatment, they suggested that I borrow money from someone or consider euthanizing him (dog was almost completely fine less than 12 hours later, btw). STAY FAR AWAY. UPDATE: When we went to pick him up, they tried guilt-tripping/pressuring us into letting them keep him overnight. They intentionally gave an inaccurate description of his condition and tried to stop us from seeing him in order to try and keep him, but when we physically saw him, he had improved dramatically. This "clinic" is by far the worst run, most uncompassionate, overpriced, and wildly incompetent that I have ever seen. Read Less

The staff is nice but the vet himself was very rude. They tried to charge me for multiple tests/procedures rather than starting with just a urinalysis and still, they can't even tell me what's wrong with my dog. It appears they are just trying to get more money. For example, they wanted to give him blood work up that a senior dog would receive when he is only 3 years old "just in case". Dr. Jason Johnson is simply the best. We have an English Bulldog that are prone to have more health problems than other breeds, but he was always treated us more than fair, and never abused the fact that our dog is a little more high risk than others. Other vets have taken advantage of us before, when really our dog just needed basic care. Dr. Johnson is also very caring for your pet, and just shows he really cares for their well being. I will not see any other vet, besides Dr. Johnson for my dog and my cat. Read Less

Our family has been taking our dogs to Laurel for the past 20 years - they were in the building on the corner of 4th and Laurel at the time, and Dr. Morehead owned it. We've seen a lot of changes since then including a new location, the retirement of Dr. Morehead and the addition of many new doctors. What hasn't changed is the excellent care our dogs have received. The doctors have shown great compassion when we've sadly lost two of our dogs to age and cancer (Jake & Laila). And they continue to provide great care to our dog Charlie. I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality veterinary clinic. Read Less

We have used other vets in the past but since we have been with Laurel we will not go to anyone else. We were not with other clinic because we were not able get our pets in in timely manner or it was expensive. My co-worker all take their animals to Laurel so I changed and am VERY happy! Read Less

Laurel vet just lost along time client. Been using this office for 34 years as a family. When my 14 year old dog got sick they wouldnt even Squeez us in. Said we could go in the next day which might have been too late or go somewhere else. So we went somewhere else and for good. This place has gone down hill over the past few years. I brought my two cats here for their entire lives and am really happy with the service they provide. The vets are very knowledgable and reliable. They always make sure the pet is not only healthy put happy as well. Dr. Schuster and Dr. Infonte always try to make animals as comfortable as possible. We love Laurel Vet Clinic! Dr. Schuster has been so helpful with our pup's many ailments, including preventative care and squeezing her in for a quick follow-up in between other appointments. The staff is also fabulous - at one point they got our pup in for a Bordatella vaccine with 20 minutes notice so we could board her and catch our flight for the holidays.Read Less

I've been coming here for almost 12 years and absolutely love the service he provides and compassion he shows!
