Took three days for Dr. Gastellum to respond to my email to say he'll get back to me (he was supposedly conducting a surgery while emailing me); then took him an extra full day to respond more thoroughly to say he's not taking new clients because he's moving to Colorado. Poor customer service from the get-go in my opinion. If he truly didn't want to see my sick dog for unknown reasons, he should have been direct and said so rather than taking 4 whole days to formulate an excuse.

Dr. Gastellum is thorough, thoughtful and professional. He takes extra care to address all aspects of the pet's health. He gives each pet his undivided attention. He explains things in understandable terms. His mobile van is well equipped and clean. Our cats do not tolerate travel in cat cages, so having vet services at home is fantastic. On his first visit, he performed wellness exams for our 3 cats. His second visit was to provide dental care for one of the cats. A few teeth had to be removed. After the procedure, he showed me x-rays, and before/after photos. We highly recommend Dr. Gastellum.

I met Dr. Gastellum over the summer when my cat fell ill and now needs daily meds for diabetes. My cat doesn't travel well so mobile service was ideal. I was in awe of Dr. Gastellums professionalism, his fantastic mobile clinic, and love for the profession. He is wonderful answering phone calls, emails, etc. I recently had an incident where I broke my pets medicine bottle by accident & Dr. Gastellum came through with a miracle with more meds. He is so flexible and thorough. Cost is comparable to others or less. I've had very expensive vet services elsewhere in the area and didn't feel as comfortable. Mobile service makes for a less stressful situation and I'm appreciative of the care and expertise provided.

We went from three to four rescue dogs and for a month or so we had paradise. But when the new Alpha pup took to the other three we needed a vet that could both travel to us and treat their wounds. Dr. Gastellum responded to our call immediately and dealt with each injured dog with gentle kindness and expert treatment. His manner with all was a wonder, none of our dogs objected to his handling and all are on the road to recovery. 'Gizmo' had it the worst and was sedated and anesthetized in the mobile hospital parked outside our home. Treatment and drugs were administered and the costs were well below what we expected.Dr. Gastellum will now treat our pets on a routine basis. He was able to accommodate a vaccination request (Rabies and a 6-way) without prior warning and so he left us happy customers and three very grateful dogs he'll see again in better circumstances we hope.A big thanks from Gizmo, Luna and Margie December 2013

Dr. Gastellum visited my home in the San Jose Neighborhood in SE Albuquerque today to do heartworm tests on my two big dogs. I was VERY impressed by his kindness, honesty, professionalism, and fair pricing. WOW! It is very comforting to find someone who doesn't try to use my love of my pets to gouge me.
