I commend Heather for addressing this issue as a real problem solver . Let it be known that we had no issues with the veterinarians they are some of the best in the area.

A few months ago our small dog had an unfortunate accident and fell on his back. He had neurological deficits, extreme pain and limited mobility. Dr. Gibson utilized the SanaWave equipment and we saw marked improvements from these treatments. He no longer had neurological deficits and is able to jump, run and have fun again. We are so happy with the results and recommend Dr. Gibson because she has helped our dog rapidly with a non invasive approach.

We have been coming to Animal Care Center of Castle Pines for two years now to have our standard poodle groomed by Micky there. She has done amazing work and we were very happy with the business. About 8 months ago, Micky moved out of the state and we were left with many “new” groomers to put our trust in for our dog.
Our most recent experience has been a total nightmare. I scheduled a groom thwo months ago because that was the soonest available they had. I was informed they only had one groomer because it seemed everyone else had quit. We showed up at the time of our apt. and began to explain what we wanted done for the groom. The receptionist cut us very short and said, “wait, we are only able to do a bath and brush not a full groom, we do not have anyone here that can do a full groom today”. After I finally realized she wasn’t kidding, I told her I had booked a full groom not a bathe and brush. She told me that the groomer never came in today so I would have to be scheduled another time for a “clip on call”.
She told me to come tomorrow and they could squeeze her in. Granted we live 25 minutes away, I agreed to bring her back.
Second day. I brought her in and again explained what we wanted done with her groom. She has a pony cut right now and I wanted it cleaned up and her top knot shortened to the length of the rest of her mane.
4 hours later I called to see if they were finished with her. They hadn’t even started her. They told me maybe another 3 hours. Great, so shes waiting in a crate for hours on end, why did I drop her off at 8:00am?
6 and a half hours total later, they called and told me she was ready. I drove over and was asked to pay for the groom before even seeing my dog. After paying they brought her out and to my surprise her top knot wasn’t even touched. The groomer said, “I’m sorry our groomer doesn’t know how to scissor cut hair, we’ll have to get her back in and finish her up when the other groomer is working”. Are you kidding me? You’re a grooming salon how do you not know how to scissor cut dog hair?
So I now paid for a groom that took two days and 7 hours that didn’t even get completed. I had to book ANOTHER day for her to come back and get her top knot trimmed.
That day came and I brought her back in. They took her back right away as I carefully explained what I wanted done…again. She came back 10 minutes later with my butchered looking dog. They shaved her head all the way down the back of her mane and didn’t bother taking out her bands so when I did get home to take them out, the hair was super long and uneven over her eyes. I was furious and told them I was completely upset with my entire weeks experiences with this groom. I should have never brought her back the third time as now I will have to go home and shave her completely down myself. The last thing the groomer said was, “just be sure next time you book her as a full groom and we will be able to get her taken are of the first time”.
I will not be coming back to this grooming salon and warn any and all others to spare yourself of this.

I brought my dog in recently for a very difficult and saddening procedure, and the staff was so compassionate and went out of the way to not only make my dog comfortable, but to also make me comfortable as well. I’ve been a customer for several years, and will continue to bring my animals here. Dr. James is the best!!!

I would give them no stars if possible. Lisa cancelled our little dogs appointment after waiting 6 weeks to get in. She did this the day right before our service (we had confirmed our appointment) right before was to be performed. We were bringing in our vaccination records to the appointment with us. How Lisa acted, their service is a “what will you do for us mentaility” Which makes me not trust how they treat their animals. We did not rebook our appointment and found a better care clinic with excellent service. Run far away.

We were pleased with our experience here, but did feel the vet was hardly supportive of our choice to feed our dog a raw diet. We understood her concerns but would have appreciated a more conversational approach rather than a lecture. We are both highly educated people and did not make this decision lightly and have done plenty of research. It was also recommended we use a Milk Bone product, which surprised us since the parent company of Milk Bone has had a significant number of recalls recently due to numerous pets dying from consuming their products. Again we appreciate the concern but felt the staffs knowledge and research was not as current as our own.

We went to the behaviorist vet specifically and we are only rating this portion of the business. The other side does general vet care and grooming which did seem a bit chaotic in the reception area, but we can't provide a rating for this side.
The behaviorist was very professional, experienced, organized, and extremely helpful. If you are having any behavioral issues with your dog I highly recommend this office. It is the only certified behavioral Vet (not just a trainer or consultant like others) in Colorado. We are looking forward to continuing to work with them.

Everyone at Animal Care Center is very friendly and caring toward all of the animals they serve. When trying to resolve a health issue with one of my dogs, I'm always presented with all the options they can provide, yet I'm never pressured toward a specific option of treatment. The amount of time and care that's put into making all the animals (and their humans) comfortable is top notch. Every pet deserves a vet's office that's this good!

My husband and I have recently consulted with the Animal Care Center for a full physical evaluation for our old sweet Sassy, 16 year old pug. We recognize that she is in the very old category but wanted to make sure she is able to live pain free and ambulate independently. We continue to be impressed with their wholistic approach, hesitant to suggest a variety of expensive tests and invasive procedures. The staff genuinely care for her, shown by their words and touch. Kelli is helping us with simple home exercises following her PT sessions at the Center. This has been a 5 star experience for us!

Dr. Shawn Wayment is quite simply the best vet I've ever had the privilege of meeting. He's always careful, deliberate and knowledgeable with my dogs' care. He also will always take the time to address any questions that I have and chat about options, if need be, in as much detail as I want to get into (such as the pros and cons of neutering vs a vasectomy for my dog when it came time for the good ol' snip snip). Anytime either of my dogs are sick, he always follows up with a phone call within a couple days to see how they're doing. This is a vet and a man that really cares!His assistant, Allie, is also one of my favorite people and is equally as excellent at her job. Dr. Shawn and Allie have basically become an extension of our animal loving family. The other few vets I've seen at the practice when Dr. Shawn isn't available for last minute needs are also exceptional. I trust everyone here with my boys' well being. Thanks for everything you do, Dr. Shawn! I'm so grateful for you!

I could fill up pages and pages with all of the good things I have to say about Animal Care Center at Castle Pines. They have been there for my sweet American Bulldog through all kinds of things, and they are always knowledgeable, caring, and above all, KIND. We asked for a consultation to help make the best choice for our dog and ended up getting him scheduled for a major surgery. The evaluation team was so thorough and understanding and explained everything extremely well! The post-op physical therapy team of experts, yes experts, is so kind, helpful and fun! I trust them and their skills to get my old pups, with lots of unique needs, back to better than their typical physical capacities! They entire staff is so welcoming and seems to strive to get the best multidisciplinary care for each animal. So glad they're on our team!

A good friend recommended Animal Care Center of Castle Pines, and I'm really glad we visited them. The entire staff is so nice, and vets and vet techs are very thorough.
Both of my dogs are a little nervous (one because she is super high energy, one because she just doesn't like strangers). All the vet techs and vets have been great with them. They go extra slow and are so gentle. They give them lots of treats and really try hard to make them feel more comfortable before doing any exams.
We recently went in because our old girl has started having trouble getting up on the hardwood floors. Dr. Bartling was great! She did some chiropractic work, and gave her a couple shots. She went over several rehab options with us. We'll be going back for a few more appointments...but even after just one visit our dog seems to be getting up easier and definitely seems to be more comfortable. She even jumped up on the bed without help.

Dr. Ringen was by far the BEST Veterinarian we have been to. We brought our dog in with neck/back pain and needless to say he was quite unhappy to be there. Dr. Ringen was awesome with him and we are so appreciative! The front desk staff is also great--very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you, ACC of Castle Pines for calming our nerves and taking such good care of our fur baby! :)

I felt like the worst Mom ever! The receptionist reassured me that it was fine and that I was doing the right thing by brushing his teeth and that I didn't hurt him! Dr. Quint was my vet for my two Siberian Huskies after I moved to Castle Rock from Littleton. Then he started the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines---but I didn't know where he had gone to... until a few years later, when I had dinner at a restaurant two doors down! Was thrilled to get my boys back to seeing Dr. Quint!!! He's always taken good care of my boys and explained everything that is now going on as they are older. The staff is great, and I've also had the help of Dr. Shawn with caring for Tubby (the cat)!! All of the staff here truly care for people's 4-legged family members! I highly recommend them for veterinary care!! :-)

Second day. I brought her in and again explained what we wanted done with her groom. She has a pony cut right now and I wanted it cleaned up and her top knot shortened to the length of the rest of her mane.
4 hours later I called to see if they were finished with her. They hadn’t even started her. They told me maybe another 3 hours. Great, so shes waiting in a crate for hours on end, why did I drop her off at 8:00am?
6 and a half hours total later, they called and told me she was ready. I drove over and was asked to pay for the groom before even seeing my dog. After paying they brought her out and to my surprise her top knot wasn’t even touched. The groomer said, “I’m sorry our groomer doesn’t know how to scissor cut hair, we’ll have to get her back in and finish her up when the other groomer is working”. Are you kidding me? You’re a grooming salon how do you not know how to scissor cut dog hair?
So I now paid for a groom that took two days and 7 hours that didn’t even get completed. I had to book ANOTHER day for her to come back and get her top knot trimmed.
That day came and I brought her back in. They took her back right away as I carefully explained what I wanted done…again. She came back 10 minutes later with my butchered looking dog. They shaved her head all the way down the back of her mane and didn’t bother taking out her bands so when I did get home to take them out, the hair was super long and uneven over her eyes. I was furious and told them I was completely upset with my entire weeks experiences with this groom. I should have never brought her back the third time as now I will have to go home and shave her completely down myself. The last thing the groomer said was, “just be sure next time you book her as a full groom and we will be able to get her taken are of the first time”.
I will not be coming back to this grooming salon and warn any and all others to spare yourself of this.

The staff here is fantastic and they truly love animals. I brought my dog in recently for a very difficult and saddening procedure, and the staff was so compassionate and went out of the way to not only make my dog comfortable, but to also make me comfortable as well. I’ve been a customer for several years, and will continue to bring my animals here. Dr. James is the best!!!

I would give them no stars if possible. Lisa cancelled our little dogs appointment after waiting 6 weeks to get in. She did this the day right before our service (we had confirmed our appointment) right before was to be performed. We were bringing in our vaccination records to the appointment with us. How Lisa acted, their service is a “what will you do for us mentaility” Which makes me not trust how they treat their animals. We did not rebook our appointment and found a better care clinic with excellent service. Run far away.

We were pleased with our experience here, but did feel the vet was hardly supportive of our choice to feed our dog a raw diet. We understood her concerns but would have appreciated a more conversational approach rather than a lecture. We are both highly educated people and did not make this decision lightly and have done plenty of research. It was also recommended we use a Milk Bone product, which surprised us since the parent company of Milk Bone has had a significant number of recalls recently due to numerous pets dying from consuming their products. Again we appreciate the concern but felt the staffs knowledge and research was not as current as our own.

We went to the behaviorist vet specifically and we are only rating this portion of the business. The other side does general vet care and grooming which did seem a bit chaotic in the reception area, but we can't provide a rating for this side.
The behaviorist was very professional, experienced, organized, and extremely helpful. If you are having any behavioral issues with your dog I highly recommend this office. It is the only certified behavioral Vet (not just a trainer or consultant like others) in Colorado. We are looking forward to continuing to work with them.

Everyone at Animal Care Center is very friendly and caring toward all of the animals they serve. When trying to resolve a health issue with one of my dogs, I'm always presented with all the options they can provide, yet I'm never pressured toward a specific option of treatment. The amount of time and care that's put into making all the animals (and their humans) comfortable is top notch. Every pet deserves a vet's office that's this good!

My husband and I have recently consulted with the Animal Care Center for a full physical evaluation for our old sweet Sassy, 16 year old pug. We recognize that she is in the very old category but wanted to make sure she is able to live pain free and ambulate independently. We continue to be impressed with their wholistic approach, hesitant to suggest a variety of expensive tests and invasive procedures. The staff genuinely care for her, shown by their words and touch. Kelli is helping us with simple home exercises following her PT sessions at the Center. This has been a 5 star experience for us!

Dr. Shawn Wayment is quite simply the best vet I've ever had the privilege of meeting. He's always careful, deliberate and knowledgeable with my dogs' care. He also will always take the time to address any questions that I have and chat about options, if need be, in as much detail as I want to get into (such as the pros and cons of neutering vs a vasectomy for my dog when it came time for the good ol' snip snip). Anytime either of my dogs are sick, he always follows up with a phone call within a couple days to see how they're doing. This is a vet and a man that really cares!His assistant, Allie, is also one of my favorite people and is equally as excellent at her job. Dr. Shawn and Allie have basically become an extension of our animal loving family. The other few vets I've seen at the practice when Dr. Shawn isn't available for last minute needs are also exceptional. I trust everyone here with my boys' well being. Thanks for everything you do, Dr. Shawn! I'm so grateful for you!

I could fill up pages and pages with all of the good things I have to say about Animal Care Center at Castle Pines. They have been there for my sweet American Bulldog through all kinds of things, and they are always knowledgeable, caring, and above all, KIND. Every vet, tech, and rehab person has treated my dog as if she were their own. They always take the time to explain things thoroughly and to answer my questions. We asked for a consultation to help make the best choice for our dog and ended up getting him scheduled for a major surgery. The evaluation team was so thorough and understanding and explained everything extremely well! The post-op physical therapy team of experts, yes experts, is so kind, helpful and fun! I trust them and their skills to get my old pups, with lots of unique needs, back to better than their typical physical capacities! They entire staff is so welcoming and seems to strive to get the best multidisciplinary care for each animal. So glad they're on our team!

A good friend recommended Animal Care Center of Castle Pines, and I'm really glad we visited them. The entire staff is so nice, and vets and vet techs are very thorough.
Both of my dogs are a little nervous (one because she is super high energy, one because she just doesn't like strangers). All the vet techs and vets have been great with them. They go extra slow and are so gentle. They give them lots of treats and really try hard to make them feel more comfortable before doing any exams.
We recently went in because our old girl has started having trouble getting up on the hardwood floors. Dr. Bartling was great! She did some chiropractic work, and gave her a couple shots. She went over several rehab options with us. We'll be going back for a few more appointments...but even after just one visit our dog seems to be getting up easier and definitely seems to be more comfortable. She even jumped up on the bed without help.

I am a new kitten owner, I am used to dogs and older cats. I called the office this morning practically in tears because I was brushing my 6 month old kittens teeth and a tooth fell out. I felt like the worst Mom ever! The receptionist reassured me that it was fine and that I was doing the right thing by brushing his teeth and that I didn't hurt him! This is why I trust Animal Care Center for my baby! The Veterinarians and staff are amazing!! Thank you sooo much!

Dr. Quint was my vet for my two Siberian Huskies after I moved to Castle Rock from Littleton. Then he started the Animal Care Center of Castle Pines---but I didn't know where he had gone to... until a few years later, when I had dinner at a restaurant two doors down! Was thrilled to get my boys back to seeing Dr. Quint!!! He's always taken good care of my boys and explained everything that is now going on as they are older. The staff is great, and I've also had the help of Dr. Shawn with caring for Tubby (the cat)!! All of the staff here truly care for people's 4-legged family members! I highly recommend them for veterinary care!! :-)
