My beautiful dog is a dead. It hurts me to write that, but it's true.
I took my dog, Buffy, into Dr. Eskridge's because Buffy had been feeling sick. Long story short, a heart condition was not diagnosed. Dr. Eskridge says she thinks she heard a muffled sound when she listened to Buffy's heart, but she didn't tell me about that until after the fact -- after Buffy was already gone and I was finally able to get a hold of the doctor.
That's the other point -- Dr. Eskridge's website advertises 24 hour emergency care service, but that was not the case. Buffy had her fatal heart attack on a Sunday. This is apparently not covered under "24 hour emergency care service" because I could not get a hold of Dr. Eskridge at her clinic or on her "emergency" contact number. I left a message, but seven hours later had not heard back. Even though my beautiful Buffy was already gone, I tried the number a last time, and Dr. Eskridge finally answered.
Too little too late. Not really emergency service and small comfort in my grief. Read Less
