I have nothing but good things to say about this place, we switched to a cheaper vet last year and have regretted it since. Came back to Brown with our sick senior dog and had the pleasure of having Dr Jeffrey Gross for the visit. Hardest visit of my life but he very thoroughly and nicely explained everything in detail and treatment options and things. He was beyond amazing. The whole staff is amazing! They helped us come to the decision that it was ok to let go of our senior suffering dog and were there every step of the way. I am beyond thankful for the although hard experience it was a pleasant experience thanks to the whole staff. Great place for your pet! •Friendly and helpful. I've take my pup here since we've had him and I've never been dissapointed. I'm always greeted with a smile. On several occasions my puppy peed out of excitement and the staff there was kind enough to clean it up (Even though I'm sure they weren't too happy about it). •The facility itself looks good. It's not like other vet clinics where you might be worried the double as an experimental mad science lab. •Doctors are knowledgeable but can put things in laymen terms (you can understand what they're talking about. •They board here! Everyone there, Especially the owner and veterinarian, Dr. Jeffrey Gross, The front desk staff (Both Tanyas, Terri, and Adrian), and long time expert groomer (and all the support staff and technicians), Charlie, are SO fantastic at not only being great at their jobs, but, they are ALL such wonderful people, that I cannot recommend them enough. All of my extended family, and friends (several different people, with many different pets), from tropical fish to ferrets, cats and dogs of different pedigrees, you name it, they are true experts at what they all do. And, they are the kindest people you could ever meet. They truly care, not only about pets, but also about their people "owners." You honestly, cannot find a better Veterniarian or staff anywhere! These people scammed me for 1200 dollars. They told me my dog needed a "serious life threatening surgery" and if she didn't have it operated on she would die and we would have to consider putting her down. They left me and my family distraught this king our dog might not even make through the surgery due to what they say they saw on an x-ray. What they claimed to see what an and object obstructing her stomach lining. After going through this surgery that they said she might not even make it through they tell us they can't find anything and that there was to ruptured lining or damage to her stomach. These people must look at x-rays very frequently and they should know what they are looking at. Instead my dog was put through a pointless surgery she didn't even need. My poor dog needs to be carried up stairs, has over 40 stitches, and it had made it a major inconvenience for my poor innocent dogs life. These people are very unprofessional .Read Less

This veterinary clinic has many caring & knowledgeable staff. From vets, to techs, to the ladies at the front desk you are treated with courtesy, smiles, and help. After the first visit or two, they seems to be willing to open a "tab". I've been to many veterinary clinics/hospitals and this is one of my favorites. I have never been more happy with service I've received from a doctor before. My cat had another block and he couldn't pee. It was at this time that we were told he'd need surgery. I'm not the greatest when it comes to the health of my cat, I get really emotional. The staff is so thoughtful and caring about you and your pet. They are also amazing about working with you for payment. Unlike any other vet who would make you get a credit card or pay it all at one time, Brown Vet clinic set me up with options that worked for me. Jaala Wotruba scammed me out of 250 bucks for Gemma. After Gemma got sick I took her to the vet within a few hours. The vet called the cops bc apparently all the dogs coming from her are extremely ill. I told her I dont want involved with the police and to please give me some of the money back so that I could find another vet to vaccinate her. Jaala is refusing to refund any of the money or take any responsibility. This is my fault for trusting her on her word. Please do NOT get any pets from her. Also I would avoid Browns Veterinary Hospital in Colorado Springs. Instead of speaking directly with me they just decided to send the cops. Read Less

The office staff and Dr. Gross are WONDERFUL! They take great care of our dogs. I appreciate that Dr. Gross is on the conservative side of things. I get the feeling that he doesn't have dollar signs in his eyes when he see's a patient. He really does what is in the best interest of the pet. This isn't a review for Brown's doctors or medical services, since we haven't used them for that purpose. However, we boarded our pup there for a day and a half and were surprised at how disappointed we were in their boarding service. First, I will say this in their favor - they were able to fit us in last minute (and over a holiday), their boarding prices are very reasonable, and the check-in staff were professional. However, because the prices are so low, there aren't any additional services you can add on (exercise time, treats, etc.) you really just get the bare bones. Also, one very frustrating issue was the communication regarding the clean-up bath. All kennels we've used in the past have offered a complimentary clean-up bath (usually just a rinse and dry) after using their kennel services, and we were lead to believe this one would be no different. However, when we called a few hours before picking up our dog, we were told they only offered this service if they could see the dog was clearly dirty. I was very disappointed in the lack of clear communication regarding this, as all dogs should have some kind of quick rinse after being in a kennel. Finally, we sent prepackaged bags of food for our dog (one for each meal that he'd be there for) and two of them were not given to him. I don't know if he missed those meals or if they gave him something else, but either way, that was a clear sign of unprofessionalism and made me question the care of our dog while he was there. We've had such great boarding experiences in the past that it's possible our standards are too high, but we will definitely not be using their services again, particularly when there are so many other options in the area. We chose to use their services based on the other reviews on Google, but it appears there may be some differences between the quality of their doctors and their boarding. Read Less

Absolute best place you can take your pet. EVERYONE who works there is so nice and truly cares. They understand how much love you have for your pet and will make sure no matter what that your pet is taken care of. I had my dog impounded and transferred from the pound to Browns while she was being kept and the vet tech who took care of my dog personally wrote a letter about how sweet and even tempered my dog was. Terry the office manager is so nice and will do anything she can to help you and your pet. Every surgery or procedure my dog has had, the vet (Dr Gross) personally calls me and let's me know how things went. Can't say enough good things about this place.Read Less

I just recently moved here from Kentucky with my husband he is in the Army. My kitty Snuggles came with us along with our other pets but snugs had kidney failure and had been sick for a while , when we arrived here something was different and my boy was sicker and wouldn't eat or drink so I found BVH online and decided to take him there. I knew it was time for my sweet boy to cross the rainbow bridge. The veterinarian was a wonderful woman who showed us compassion and gave us time to be with snuggles . I greatly appreciate all that BVH done for my boy and for us especially my paw print plaque they made for me . This has been one of the hardest things I've ever experienced and they really helped with making this experience not so horrific. I greatly appreciate this Vet Hospital.
