We have been bringing our cat-children to Cattails since 2005. The veterinarians spend a lot of time with each appointment. All my cats love them and behave very well with the doctors and staff. I would never take my cats anywhere else. They are not only supreme cat lovers, but exceptionally knowledgeable about cat care. My cats live to 18 years, sometimes older. The couple cats who did not, had preexisting health issues that were not known at the time of adoption. And yes, I chose all my cats from the local Humane Society. Read Less

The vets ask relevant questions about my family and home so they can get a good picture of my cat's living situation so they can tailor how they treat her. Love this vet for our cat. We’ve worked with Dr Guillorey and she has been wonderful. One of our cats passed away from a strange illness and the staff here were kind and supportive as we tried to figure out and treat the illness. She had a better chance because of the people here. Cat Tails came highly recommended by Dr. Hines of S. CO Veterinary Internal Medicine. Our young cat has gone through several health issues due to abuse and neglect by a prior owner before we adopted her from the shelter. Cat Tails has been caring, thorough and highly knowledgeable. Dr. Klauss and her staff provide exceptional, outstanding service for your pet. I will never forget, on my first visit, when Dr. Klauss met my cats at the their level -- on the floor. Dr. Klauss actually sat down on the floor and got to know my cats. The visit did not feel rushed and Dr. Klauss took the time to answer my questions and was genuinely interested in getting to know my pets. My older cat can be quite vocal about her displeasure at being in the vet's office and the staff was more than wililng to work with me to streamline her visits. In fact, for all the fuss (and yowling!) kitty made in the exam room, the staff still tried to calm her and did their best to make the visit go quickly. I get that you're not going to love my kitties like I do but if I choose you to be their veterinarian, I want to see you take an interest in them and be concerned for their overall well being. My first visit there and they treated my cat very well. They were great at trying to make her as comfortable as possible and gave her some time in the room to feel a little more comfortable. They tried to keep everything as quiet as possible for her. While in the main waiting room area, one employee was about to vacuum and I told the lady at the front desk if they are going to vacuum I would have to take my cat outside (because my cat freaks with a vacuum). Instead they asked the employee not to vacuum. VERY CONSIDERATE. They also gave my cat a toy to take home, and now my cat wont put it down. LOL. These people at Cat Tails truly know how to take care of cats. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for care for their cats! Read Less

We have been bringing our cat-children to Cattails since 2005. The veterinarians spend a lot of time with each appointment. All my cats love them and behave very well with the doctors and staff. I would never take my cats anywhere else. They are not only supreme cat lovers, but exceptionally knowledgeable about cat care. My cats live to 18 years, sometimes older. The couple cats who did not, had preexisting health issues that were not known at the time of adoption. And yes, I chose all my cats from the local Humane Society. Read Less

My first visit there and they treated my cat very well. They were great at trying to make her as comfortable as possible and gave her some time in the room to feel a little more comfortable. They tried to keep everything as quiet as possible for her. While in the main waiting room area, one employee was about to vacuum and I told the lady at the front desk if they are going to vacuum I would have to take my cat outside (because my cat freaks with a vacuum).
