This is the place for us to take our dogs! We have been using Crossroads since 2000! We so appreciate the discount for military on all transactions. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and very empathetic in helping us love and do life with our 4-leggeds! We LOVE Dr. Craig! His sense of humor, forthright ways tangled together with his tender 'bedside manner' are a marvelous combination that draws us back again and again. He helped us make the final landing for our beloved dog as smooth as possible. He could have told us, nope, no more life in her worth dealing with...he didn't. He recommended a procedure that he wasn't able to do and recommended a Vet who could...so 'just making money' isn't his goal or motivation. He works to find the right solution to fit our budget and still provide for the proper care for our pets. Absolutely amazing people. Doctors are very knowledgeable and staff is extremely caring. When our sweet Darla needed to be euthanized, each staff member came in individually to give her a final treat and say goodbye.. Great, down to Earth staff. Dr. Rose has taken care of both of my puppies in a reassuring, professional, and calm manner. The techs are always friendly with me and the pups. One of my pups gets really excited in the lobby and has peed on the floor each time we went in. Anyeesa is always so sweet and kind - I felt horrible that my dog peed out of excitement and she made me feel much better and helped me clean up. I have been bringing my cat to Crossroads since she was a baby, and they have always taken such good care of her, and me! When my husband was diagnosed with skin cancer and the cat started getting skin lesions at the same time, we went in thinking the worst for her. Not only did the doctor take the time to hear out my worries, but he was able to determine that the cat's lesions were benign, and he didn't even charge for the visit!!! We think they are tops in taking care of our pets and informing our family (as a whole) on whatever subject needs discussion. They take the time to explain every option available for your pet, the pros and cons of those options and the costs involved. They have always called to follow up after a visit and if you need to talk to the doctor or a tech, it's easy to get them on the phone and answer your questions. I had brought both my cats in for dental work, that would have initially cost over $1000. However, on the appt. day, I received a phone call stating that one of my cat's teeth were not a grade 2, but a grade 1, so the price was reduced. They were honest and they honored their policy- that after the pet's teeth are graded, the price may go down if, during the exam, they find it to be a lower grade, but will not go up if found to be a higher grade. Dr. Sears took excellent care of both my animals and was very thorough in explaining procedures done with both cats. In addition, in February they offered a 10% off special that became so booked with customers, they carried the special over into March- so I received that discount. The staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, honest and helpful- and the prices are fair. I am definitely recommending this facility to others. Read Less

Dr. Hyden is refreshingly honest and caring about all of our pets. He will take the time to explain the situation, go over any number of treatment options and scenarios and answer as many questions as you can think of. The entire office staff is welcoming and helpful and I wouldn't consider taking my pets anywhere else. My cat (Sunflower) was struggling to breathe overnight (what I thought was a horribly lodged hairball) I waited til' the morning and her condition hadn't improved. I called clinic, after clinic with a barrage questions- (including pricing) to figure out what my options were. Some of the clinics were booked out for several weeks, one of the clinics even advised I wait even longer to see if her condition improved...I went with a gut-feeling and I'm so glad I did. Dr.Hyden is absolutely brilliant... Immediately I could tell he was passionate about what he does. He explained everything, broke down every step of diagnosis, without ego, in layman's terms; so I could understand what was happening with my cat. I felt no judgement, I felt like I wasn't being lied to. Most of all, he didn't treat me like an indigent, neglectful, pet owner. (I may have been strapped for cash but I'm not neglectful of my pets.) They did X-Rays, put her on some oxygen and gave her a steroid shot. A few hours later at home, all of the sudden she was better- like nothing ever happened. Apparently my cat was having an asthma attack and that steroid, did the trick. I literally cried, I was so happy she was better. The holiday's were awful, I had two flat tires the week before, had to keep calling off work and spent all my money on Christmas gifts. Not to mention loads of holiday-family-drama. Then my cat got sick... This was the only thing that went way beyond my already lowered expectations. Mind you, I found a cheaper exam (under $10) with another clinic, I even found an earlier appointment at another clinic. I went with crossroads because the tech. on the phone was incredibly patient, she walked through options with me and she didn't just feed me the "you should bring them in (so I can take all your money)," advisory that everyone gives you. I would rather take my sick cat, to a knowledgeable, caring hospital, than nit-pick a $10 difference. This is the best experience I've ever had a Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Jennifer Rose has been an angel for my Labrador Cosette. Cosette was attacked by another dog while on a walk in the park. I am an over-protective mamma for my sweet bear. My wife and noticed our dog Valentino limping a little. Because we are new to Colorado Springs we had no one to talk to about Veterinarian offices so we looked around a little and checked out a few places and chose Crossroads Animal Hospital. We liked their reviews and when we spoke with them they seemed caring and concerned. It turns out Tino needed major knee surgery.  The day of the appointment I bring Tino in and the surgeon Craig S. Hayden D.V.M. sits me down and explains all the possible scenarios. I mean he Really explained everything! This guy is the s**t! I had no questions by the time Craig was done.  Tino has been home now for 5 days and everything seems to be going great! They put one of our cats to sleep. I asked them if she could take her favorite blanket with her. They said, and I quote...."We would just throw it away". Seriously??? That was hard enough to lose a furry family member. We have since found another clinic that is both caring and Compassionate. VERY unprofessional and focused more on your bill being paid.
