We cannot say enough about Dr. Vicki Wynn and the entire staff at Timberview Animal Hospital. As a new patient, our dog came to their care under less than ideal circumstances. After consultation and exam with Dr. Wynn, it was decided that Tucker needed to have dental work, eyelid tumor removal and to remove a fatty tumor on his tummy. We saw her on Tuesday and she scheduled the procedures for Friday. A slightly superficial but important note is that Dr. Wynn answers the ph...one as well as checked us out. In my opinion, that says a lot about her commitment to the whole experience. That's a first for us. We felt that everyone cared as much about our feelings and concerns as they did caring for our dog. There isn’t a single negative thing to say about our experience. We just wish we had found them sooner. This is hands down the best vet we’ve ever been to! We took our dog here for an emergency after she got a hold of an entire chicken breast(bones and all) we were worried about her not passing the bones. We went as soon as they opened and she was immediately seen. They were all so nice and accommodating and reasonably priced. We have now found our regular vet! Read Less

We are complete impressed with Dr. Wynn and her staff! We felt completely welcomed and put at ease every step of the way. We had not one, but two dogs undergoing oral surgery. They walked us through the procedure, kept us in the loop during the procedures, and then were personally called post procedure by Dr. Wynn herself asking about her "babies!" Dr. Vikki Wynn is the best. When we lived in Colorado Springs, she saved our little girl's life when FIVE other vets misdiagnosed her. Five other vets said the lump on Nikki's belly was just a fat ball (lipoma) and nothing to worry about. One supposedly even did a tissue sample. Dr. Vikki did more, called us right back after a specialist looked at the X-rays and did emergency surgery the next day. That ball was an infected puss filled hernia and had also infected a mammary and her uterus. So she got major surgery for all three things (mammary, spay and hernia repair) and then weeks of recovery. None of the other five vets saw any of those major problems. When we're in the Springs and should need a vet, Dr. Wynn is the only vet we will consider. Read Less

I've never been so impressed with a vet before. She walked in, sat down on the floor, and played with my scared dogs until they were comfortable letting her examine them. She made them trust her before she started. Then, she proceeded to do a thorough exam and spend a significant amount of time with me talking with me and helping me make decisions around food and vaccinations. They needed their teeth cleaned, and we scheduled that. The cleaning went well, and everything was great. I was super impressed when she called the next morning to check on how they were doing. I am absolutely blown away!  We have used the same vet for years to mixed reviews.  Loved the actual vet (when we got the one we wanted to see), but weren't thrilled with the rest of the staff.  So...when I asked on a Facebook group if anyone could answer a question about changing my dogs' food, Dr. Victoria Wynn spent a significant amount of time chatting with me.  Since it was time for their yearly appointment, I made it with her, given that she'd already shown amazing concern and she'd never even met my fur babies.Fast foward to our first visit today.  Even though we were early, we were immediately shown into an exam room. When Dr. Wynn walked in, she took one look at my nervous dogs trying to hide under my legs and promptly sat down on the floor and started to play with them.  She spent a fair amount of time with them before ever beginning the exam. When she started the exam, she didn't move them to the exam table (which folded up to the wall to make more room) to make it easier for herself, she proceeded with the exam sitting there crosslegged on the floor.  They didn't even know they were getting anything but played with.  It was great to see someone treat my fur babies with such love.  She answered all my questions and talked with me extensively about both their medical history and the decisions we needed to make about vaccines.  I felt she was concerned about their care, but also wasn't going to give them anything they didn't really need.  I've never left a vet feeling like I loved it.  But I loved the experience we had there today, and would recommend her to anyone! Dr. Wynn takes care of our 2 dogs and I have been extremely impressed with not only the excellent care she provides, but also how efficiently she runs the clinic. Our dogs recently had their yearly check ups, and Dr. Wynn did an excellent job educating us and also spent the time to talk through each of the vaccines that they needed and why (also discussing cost and payment options). Just days later our older dog injured her paw and Dr. Wynn spoke with us by phone (after hours and on the weekend). She even met us at the clinic to clean the wound and bandage her paw. She then called us several days later to check in and see how she was healing! Dr. Wynn has also provided tooth cleanings for our dogs and we were very impressed with the results. I have been a pet owner for over 30 years and I have never been more happy or impressed with a vet! Dr. Wynn is personable and in only two visits makes me feel like she has known my dogs and I forever. She has shown a genuine caring for their best interest, and has personally followed up to check on them. One of our dogs, a GSP, is 6 years old and has lived for all 6 years with horrible allergies. We chose not to use prednisone because of the side effects so she has just been miserable for her whole life with us (we rescued her at 1) and we have just managed her discomfort as best we could. Dr. Wynn took one look at her and put her on a safe prescription that has cured her in 4 short days. She is a happy dog for the first time in her life! Dr. Wynn called this morning to check on her...not her office, not a staff member, but she called herself. Over the last week, I have had 2 dogs and my son's puppy checked out by her, and have made several calls to arrange the appointments. I have spoken to her personally on a majority of those calls, and that means a lot! The office itself was so clean, it just reinforces her attention to detail! I have nothing but good and creditable things to say about Timberview Animal hospital. They have gone above and beyond to not only take care of my dog BUT also have assisted us when we found a injured wild bird and didn't know what to do. They provided education and help. I cannot imagine that being a vet is a very easy job... After reviewing the prior comments it seems to me that 2 of the 3 bad posts were left by the same couple (for the same instance). To me it brings into question the credit ability of that couple being as though they would intentionally try and drag down such a nice establishment. It makes me worry for their pet as well. Dr. Wynn has always been incredible with us. DO NOT worry about taking your pets here...they will be cared for to the highest. We have been taking our dogs and guinea pigs to Dr. Wynn since she opened her practice. I found her to be caring and compassionate. My animals receive excellent and appropriate care. When we had to euthanize two of our dogs, Dr. Wynn and her staff took every step to help both the dogs and myself be comfortable during those last moments. My concerns are always addressed. Dr. Vickie Wynn & her staff have been absolutely amazing in treating my Golden Retriever. For the past 2 yrs. she saw that his health & well being were waning & prescribed meds that have brought back his "puppyhood" even at age 11. It's nothing short of miraculous. Absolutely horrible if you love your pets like family do not take them here. Vet disregard everything we told her about our animal. Our dog isn't big with people or other dogs but let the vet tech pet him. Our dog was perfectly fine until she yelled at him and scolded my husband and I. He is extremely protective especially since I have become pregnant. She told proceded to tell us we are bad pet owners because of the way he reacted to her. He doesn't react well to yelling always posative re enforcement. I will not be told I'm a bad pet owner and need to keep him away from other people. And scolded like I'm in fact an animal myself when I don't want to pay for extra shots not only does she treat pets and owners this way she also treats her staff this way. Will not be back. If you love your babys I advise you take them elsewhere. Not even worth a one star. I ask you a question after you scold us but you tell us to Google it?! Are you not a vet? Dr. Winn came highly recommended to us.  We met her and were so impressed with her care and knowledge,her team, and her advanced facility. This became critically important to us this past weekend when our 7 1/2 year old Sheltie (Shelby) got a bout of Pancreatitis. Dr. Winn was beyond words amazing - with both our Sheltie in early diagnosis and care which I know made all the difference, and with our family and emotions and fear. We had lost a dog a few years before to Pancreatitis largely due to a Vet who didn't recognize the signs and didn't provide proper care.   Dr. Winn kept in touch with us and assisted throughout the weekend. Shelby made a quick recovery and I am going to follow all Dr. Winn's recommendations to keep Shelby healthy!  I also respect that her recommendations are on target for each treatment, vs other vets I have seen who recommend expensive treatments that may not be necessary.  I believe Dr. Winn saved Shelby's life, and she sure became part of our family through all of this.
