These folks have been my family Vet since 2006. Dr. Scott is absolutely fantastic! The front desk is staffed with the most amazing people! Unfortunately, this trip was to say goodbye to one of my dogs of 19 years. These folks have always taken care of my dogs and it was obviously difficult for a few of the staff who have known my dog for the many years they have been there, when they were informed that I was bringing her in. My dogs have gotten the best personal care that I could hope to have found in a vet, and I believe the reason for the longevity of my pets. Love this place. We had a new puppy and she got sick and we were so worried about her. We weren't current patients of Yorkshire, but they squeezed us in on a Saturday with their tight schedule and made time to see us. Dr. Scott was great, he has such a great relationship with the animals, you can tell he really loves them. The front desk staff are all super friendly and helpful and love on our puppy all the time. Since then we've made them our family vet, and highly recommend them. They send out appt reminders also, which is a nice touch. I have taken my dog to Yorkshire on a recommendation of a coworker when I moved to town in 2009 and ever since. She told me "how smart" these vets were, and she was right! They are AAHA accredited which means they are held to a certain objective veterinary health standard which is reviewed regularly with site visits. They have treated my dog and myself with compassion during major problem times, and seen him through his regular needs with good humor. He is now 14 1/2 and I feel it is due to their co-vigilance (with me) about his health: teeth, vaccinations, medications, etc. I have been away from Colorado for work for a few months and really see the comparison from using other vets, so will be glad to get back to Yorkshire care. They don't try to up-sell services or pad their bill. They are super honest and your pet's health is the main concern. The staff is super friendly, and accommodating at the desk, on the phone, & regarding appointments and questions. The facility is always clean and welcoming. I heartily recommend their services and staff if you are looking for a good solid reliable vet experience. I've also been impressed by their assistance with greyhound rescue, and how they went out of their way to provide help for dogs in need during the recent fire evacuations in Colorado. Our two dogs have been seeing Dr. Bundy and Dr. Walsh at Yorkshire for a little over a year now. Over the course of our time with them thus far, we have received nothing but exceptional care and service. They are always able to get our dogs in when they need to be seen, and they go above and beyond expectations when caring for our dogs and discussing what's going on with them and what we need to do to get them better. I became acquainted with Yorkshire about 7 years ago, because they were one of only two Vets in town that gave a price break to the dog rescue group I was working with. I took all my foster dogs there and continued with the two that I adopted (at their normal fee rates). I can't say they don't sometimes have a Vet on board that I didn't think highly of, but I can say they don't last long there. The owners are both dedicated Vets themselves, and have been very good to work with. They do followup calls. They answer questions. They don't push treatments on you; they just make suggestions and recommendations. I've had multiple experiences through the years of having to euthanize a beloved pet. Sometimes your pet is taken away from your sight to install the device for administering the drug, and then they come back to you in a fearful state ... NOT what you want for your last moments together. The experience at Yorkshire was unlike any I'd had before. Everything was done in a quiet room with me present, soft music, and my dog was completely relaxed during the procedure. That was a year ago, and I'm still grateful for the kindness expressed then. Dr. Corinna is the absolute BEST! She became the vet for my first guide dog Pippin during the last year of his life and really guided me to make the best decisions for his health care. I never felt pressured to make any decision, perform any test, or accept any treatment. She provided so much information and worked really diligently to provide options at varying price levels. I love love love this place! My dog is very hyper, very strong and gets super nervous going to the vet but they always make it so easy on her. Just today I took her in for a distemperment shot and my appointment was at 2:00 and we were out of there by 2:04. I have been seeing Dr. Scott and Dr. Corina at Yorkshire since 2005 when we first moved to Colorado Springs. At the time, I had a very sick dog that had multiple issues, one of them being Lupus. Not only were they able to handle that, they were also able to improve her life. When she passed away, they were very caring and compassionate toward me and my family. They have since seen us through a few pets. Recently, we saw Dr. Brad for our rabbit neuter. He did a wonderful job and was also very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I bring all of my pets to Yorkshire, but 2 weeks ago I brought my 4mo pit boxer Nala in after having taken her to the ER on a Sunday, she had a very large lump on her left side that was growing larger and fluid in her lungs. Monday they decided to treat with antibiotics and anti inflammatories for the fluid in her lungs and hope that the lump was either a terrible bug bite or an abscess as the xrays weren't showing anything else. By weds night she was starting to act lethargic and having trouble breathing so Thursday morning I brought her back in and the lump had grown even larger, they were able to get a needle in and tell it was in fact an abscess so they took her in for surgery to drain it. They sent her home that evening with a port and gave me instructions to keep it clean. It was draining so much i was having to line her short with maxi pads and we came back Tuesday afternoon to find out it was not getting better and she needed a second surgery- weds come to find out, after she was under, she had swallowed a stick whole and they were unsure until they pulled it out if it was through her abdomen or her chest cavity. They did everything "Vet-ly" possibly to save my furbaby and to work with me on cost during this entire process as well as work with my emotional state. They were absolutely fantastic and Nala is doing fantastic! I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else and I would just like to say THANK YOU!Read Less

My most recent visit was last month when I became the unexpected owner of a dog after 27 years of not having one. The time devoted to giving me all the information I needed to know and to answer all of my questions about being a new dog owner was absolutely commendable. My pet received so much attention and was treated with such kindness. The doc even sat on the floor to allow my dog to get used to him. Their diagnosis and treatments have always taken into consideration the desire of the owner and the well-being of the pet (even when I brought in a wild rabbit that had been hit by a car). Dr. Walsh took amazing care of our puppy when she had pneumonia last year. We just recently had to put down our oldest and Dr. Scott could not have been better. She has taken care of our 4 labs ( Dusty's senior years until death, Cali from birth until death; Reagan & Thatcher ) with much love and wisdom. She is very good at diagnosing and treating any illness our labs had; she was always right! She is very professional and listens to you. She does not try to push optional vet care on your pet. She is very upfront with the costs of procedures and what your pet needs. Most importantly, Dr. Corrina loves our dogs. I highly recommend Dr Corrina. We just moved to the Springs and we were looking for a vet that we could trust. Our friends told us about Yorkshire and had nothing but great things to say about it. We were a little hesitant because it is so far away from our house but decided to go anyway. They were awesome! From the receptionists to the staff in the back, they were all great! We have two huskies and one of which is very nervous when it comes to the vet. The veterinarian made him feel at ease every time he got nervous. We were so used to being treated horribly which was by another vet in another town that when we went to Yorkshire we didn't know what to expect, but we will definitely be using Yorkshire from now on. The only thing is that they were a little more expensive than what we were used to, but I would gladly pay how ever much to have my animals taken care of properly and for us to be treated with respect.
