I have been taking my cats here for over a decade, will not return after the way Ms. Soares treated me, she couldn't get a urine sample, then my cat peed on the exam table and Ms. Soares said it wasn't urine and that i would have to leave my cat or bring her back, she only agreed to give my cat an antibiotic shot after I complained. this was a simple UTI, cat is very healthy for 16. Took our Turkish Angora in for a haircut. They mildly sedated him & gave him a nice cut & shave. 50.00. What I ask could be better. He never knew too much & was happy as a clam next day. Staff is wonderful, have been using their services for 12 years now. They offer doggy day care, kennel services, grooming etc. Reasonable charges for surgeries, vaccinations and general preventative care. Ok, maybe it was/is a fluke, I had to deduct stars (I had given the place 5 stars before, however I would give them one star if I received the customer service I received today on a normal basis). My youngest dog broke a nail on his front paw. It's not bleeding, it's uncomfortable, he has broken one before, as has my oldest dog and usually they can fit us in relatively quickly that day or at the very latest the next day to amputate or cut the nail back, etc. However, this time it did not go that way, I called at 2:45pm this afternoon, the usual wait staff answered the phone, asked what she could do for me? however, she did not ask my name nor my dogs name (which was unusual), I told her what was going on, she asked if it was bleeding I said no, she then said well we don't do emergencies and the next available appointment would not be until this coming Wednesday. She then said can I give you some other options, I said yes, she then rattled off three other vet hospitals/clinics in the area. I thought to myself if I wanted to go to those other places I would, however I have been using Albrick for 12 years now, why would I go to a competitor over Albrick. I am thinking they have just overgrown their hospitality, time to look for another vet, sad, we liked this vet, they do good work, usually friendly, and can see a pet when they are in distress or just need their follow ups or annuals. I took my dog here to have some shots done and get a check up because he was limping slightly with one of his back legs. It was a completely horrendous experience. I actually meant to publish a review right away but there were other things going on at the time. I did however write it down in my notes app on my phone to share with my boyfriend, who’s dog it is primarily. I ended up finding another vet and trying to just move on but I still feel as though I need to share my story in hopes that maybe some change will happen.. they have the potential to be a great place:: they just need to learn how to deal with people.. This is from June of 2017. I really wanted to believe that I only had a bad experience because of the computer issues they were having, but after reading these reviews I don't think that's the case. I truly understand how difficult it can be when your computer system isn't working, but the way this receptionist was speaking to every single customer was just down right rude. The other, probably in her teens, receptionist was very kind but clearly flustered and I don't blame her one bit. If I had to work next to someone so hostile I would be as well. I can look past a grumpy front desk woman as I work in customer service and I know how much people suck sometimes, but the vet exam was awful as well. The first vet I saw was very kind and did a full exam and explained everything. My 2 year old lab recently started limping so they were checking his legs. She left the room to grab another doctor who then came in and didn't even acknowledge my existence. He just walked in, put a muzzle on my dog and started the exam. If he had at least explained to me why he was putting a muzzle on my very friendly dog I would have understood, but the other younger vet had to do all the talking as this gentleman was apparently incapable of talking to me. She explained that dogs in pain can snap, which I totally understand, but a little communication would have been nice. I was pretty upset by the entire experience. I just didn't feel like a valued customer and I didn't feel like he gave a damn about my dog.. we are supposed to go back for a full sedated exam and a booster shot. I will not be doing a sedated exam with them but I'm hopeful that next time we go in for the booster shot they'll be a little more kind and communicate a bit better. Read Less

I've been coming to Allbrick for 10 years with my pets and have always had a good experience. I really appreciate that they keep their prices reasonable; I've checked a lot of other places and I know I'd have a hard time being able to afford good care at them. First of all let me say that the staff is great and really seem to care about my puppies and that's extremely important to my family. Secondly, pricing is affordable. However, the few times we've been there something has gone wrong. Examples would be, giving too many puppy shots after the Vet stated and wrote in the chart that my two pups didn't need anymore and were good for a year. I know this was just due to confusion and they did call a few days later to apologize and say that they credited our account for the unnecessary shots. Another time, my husband went in to purchase medication, he was charged for and given an empty box with no medication in it at all. He had to drive all the way back (25 minutes) and retrieve the meds with nothing more than an oops on part of the staff that did this. I guess it was an oversight. However, they are kind and do what they can to make things right. Hopefully next time things will go smoothly because I enjoy the vets and staff. 🤞 Read Less

It seems like all the bad reviews on here get an even nastier retort by the owner (proof that they are as rude as the reviews say they are) but ill post mine anyways. My first time here and I have never encountered such a nasty and unprofessional vet as I did this morning. Unfortunately I didn’t even get his name because I didn’t get a hello, a handshake, an introduction or anything. And I am never one to write a bad review but in this case I think it is warranted. I went in for an appointment for an ear crop consultation and I couldn’t have been treated with more disrespect (drove an hour to get there). When he came into the room he didn’t even know why I was there, and acted extremely annoyed by me even bothering him by having an appointment. When I asked him if he had any other opinions on where to take my dog he rudely said “why don’t you do your own research”. I was shoved out the door with not even so much as a hello, a goodbye, or have a nice day. I will never ever go back to this place for anything. I worked in vet clinic for years And I understand it’s stressful but I still have never seen a prospective client treated this way by a veterinarian. Ever. I have never felt so unwelcome in my life. Appointment scheduled at 1015, got in to see a doctor at 1130, doctor was unprofessional in her choice of language, weird and unsettling bedside manor. Had scheduled an appoint for just bloodwork and ended up getting charged for a bunch more. Was told my dog needed a special RX diet, waited TWO hours in the office just to talk to anyone and was repeatedly ignored. Went to a different vet down the street, was helped within 15 minutes and called back within hours about our concerns. New vet said that she didnt not agree with Allbrick's diagnosis, or method of testing. Shocked! Read Less

I've tried to give this place multiple shots and every time it's been horrible. The first experience I had was taking my yorkie to get spayed. The front desk girl snapped at an older gentleman in front of me who was asking questions about his puppy getting his teeth cleaned. After, she was helping me out and snapped at me when I asked when I could possibly pick my puppy up. She did heal well, but it put a bad taste in my mouth. I returned to get some flea medicine since my groomer found a flea in her fur. Once again, they were incredibly rude and hardly personable. This last go around, I took her in to get her rabies shot. The vet said absolutely nothing to me and was not gentle with her on the table at all. He did her shot, picked her up, and dropped her in my lap and said thanks. Completely unprofessional, not to mention lacking connecting with the animals. I have to get my yorkie's teeth cleaned and I do not trust these people putting her under anesthesia and being gentle with her. If you love your pets and want them to be well taken care of with a vet, this is not the place to go. Read Less

Update: After what happened Dr.Nedo called and asked me to bring my puppy back in. I was very happy that he wanted me to bring him back in. I got there and it was quick service and he was very helpful. I appreciate him taking out the time to see my puppy eventhough I didn't have an appointment. I took my new puppy in for a well visit since I just adopted him. I was told he has an kennel cough. He was put on medication. This morning I noticed that he wasn't eating or drinking. I called Allbrick at about 9am I spoke to a women that worked there. She said she talked to the vet and the vet recommended that I wait another day. Also that if he wasn't drinking to force give him water. Well I tried all of that. I called back and asked what I needed to do. The other lady that I spoke to told me that I should have taken him in to an emergency vet!! It would have been nice to know that HOURS ago!!! I asked her why I wasn't told that in the beginning and she said well I don't know who you spoke too. It doesn't matter who I spoke too!!! I should be told the correct information especially since you guys are the professionals!! know I have a sick dog who could have been in the hospital hours ago if I would have been given the correct information!! So frustrating when I have a sick puppy!!! I would recommend actually speaking to a VET instead of a person just answering the phone!!! Read Less

My experience here was terrible. The front office was extremely rude in the past and with this visit. I brought my pet in and they were rude. When a volunteer called me back she appeared high as a kite. The vet came back and he was rude as can be. Didn't say hi or good morning. He grabbed my rat extremely rough and took her back without saying a word. He was extremely rude and new nothing about rats. He proceeded to tell me a lot of bs information about them. I have never encountered such an aggressive and disrespectful vet. My dog is small very calm and sweet. She has never acted up. We go in he first places her in a muzzle making her very nervous. Then picks her up by her neck very tightly as she's yelping. He is being way too aggressive with her I can see her panic . She begins to pee every where and I've never seen her do this in 9 years! He lays her on the table very hard and is squeezing her by her legs so she can't move. I asked him to be calmer with her and he goes do we have a problem you can wait outside. I said definitely not. He goes we are done here get out. I came in to get a growth looked at...Not to have my dog thrown around and scared to death . I'm in shock to have been treated in such way. Great vet, I take my rats here and had to recently put a couple down; the staff was so considerate, and gave me hugs of support. I've also taken my cat here several times, I had his teeth cleaned recently and he wasn't in any pain or discomfort afterwards. I'm really upset about all of these negative reviews, because I've never had a bad experience at this Vet, and I've been going there for over 7 years. Okay, to begin....its a drive for me to get here BUT so worth it for the prices, service, and speed in scheduling!! Found our new vet clinic for sure as I didn't feel taken advantage of for my dogs services or shots I called Wednesday and they scheduled me for the following Tuesday! Wow! my baby was neutered, pain meds, cone, and flu shot for $140ish. His stitches look great and he is recovering nicely. I will recommend them to anyone looking for top service for our babies. We needed to get our dog neutered and did some research for a few months before committing. Dr. Yedo was more than helpful through e-mail and answered all of the questions that I had and gave me an accurate estimate through our correspondence. My husband was super nervous to leave our dog at a place that we haven't used before and cautioned me to not leave him if I got any bad vibes when I dropped him off. I checked in and the gentleman who helped me was hard to understand as he was mumbling a bit and seemed unenthusiastic, but then I looked at my watch and reminded myself that it was 7:15 AM and I was a frazzled mess at that point too. Our conversation improved immensely throughout the 10 minutes that I was there checking my dog in. The gentleman also helped get my 80 pound dog on the scale, which was much appreciated, since he wasn't having any of it! The lady helping at the front desk answered all of my questions about grooming services and I left feeling very confident in the care my dog was about to receive. I returned at 5 PM to pick my dog up. I had two people helping me and the process was so quick and easy. One of the ladies rang me up while the other went through the aftercare directions very thoroughly. The same gentleman from the morning brought our dog out and he seemed like his normal, happy self. I received a call from Allbrick Vet Clinic the next day to see how my dog was doing. I sincerely appreciated the follow up. Allbrick Vet Clinic went above and beyond in my opinion and will be my "go to" vet going forward. Please do not let the bad reviews determine your decision, as accidents happen and people are always looking for a way to get out of a bill or receive a discount. I boarded my three dogs for vacation. My two oldest dogs play together and sleep together for over a year now. The first morning I was contacted and told they got into a fight and one had bad cuts on her face requiring stitches. I was told it would cost about $440.00, I told them I could not believe this as they have always gotten along and sleep together at home all the time. The next day I had a message from the vet telling me the surgery went good and my dog was doing okay. That was the last contact I received before I picked my dogs up. When I picked my dogs up, you can see by the images what my Boston looks like, I could not believe it. Then came the bill, over $800.00 in medical expenses, plus the boarding, in total nearly $1100.00. WHAT? No explanation, no responsibility for what happened under their care. I asked if there was anything they could do with the cost as this is absurd. They said there is nothing they could do. I then went home and read reviews on google as well as their Facebook page. I could not believe what I was reading, I also could not believe the clinics responses to the complaints. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this clinic, at least not for boarding when you leave your pets in their care.Read Less

Beware does not respond well to any criticism! Left an honest review based on my experiences with them and promptly received a letter in the mail saying I'm blacklisted and they do not want to see my pets ever again. If this was a Seinfeld episode I can see the main pet doc there sitting back reading reviews and shouting out "No Vet For You!" Obviously their customer service skills need some work, usually companies work with customers to keep them but this place doesn't give a crap. Seems very unprofessional and I'm glad my pets won't go there ever again, found a wonderful vet nearby that they will be seeing. Overall this place is pretty cheap which sucks a lot of people in but always remember you get what you pay for.Read Less

Me and my husband started going last year when we got our dog the first time wasn't so bad everything went well than before Xmas in 2016 our cat was diagnosed with crystals in his urine so we took him in the doctor was very nice and explained everything to us that needed to be done but after the apt we were waiting to be checked out and the rude receptionist short girl just came over to us and said in her rude voice who are you waiting for? We replied with were just waiting to be checked out so we go up to the desk and she acts like totally rude with her hair all a mess like really your a receptionist have common sense to not look like a slob and be more proper. Than as we asked if we could ask the doctor questions about our cat she just gave us this dirty look like really I have to get up and go ask than as she proceeds to ask she slams the door on her way back to ask than she comes back up front and says the doctor can't answer your questions right now as if it was a problem for her to get up anyways. Than my husband asks her a question and her response was and I quote "huh" like if your answer was huh than you probably don't know how to listen to people really well and she needs more proper and approiate manner skills so we will not be coming back here to this place. Poor poor service. Long time customer and the past 3 times we've went the staff were horrible. Rude and lazy. If there's as many staff ad there are customers why are there people waiting to be helped? The vet, jessica i believe her name is absolutely the best part of that place. Even left a review on Google with my family's dissatisfaction and the owner processed to call me and tell me to take down the unbiased review. My dog ruptured her ACL in her knee. We dropped her off for surgery thinking she was in good hands. That was not the case. They prepped and INCISED THE WRONG KNEE! When the surgeon called us, he explained that the nurse prepped the wrong leg, and he did not realize until after the incision was made. He said this was the first time this had ever happened, and he was mortified. He said it was just a laceration, how do we know that? When we picked her up, we requested to speak with the owner, Dr. Yedo. We were very concerned, and he quite frankly did not care. They then proceeded to charge us full price, which we fought. We were told that if we did not pay in full before leaving, we would be sent to collections. When we complained, Dr. Yedo offered us a 10% discount. Are you kidding me???? It's called MALPRACTICE and ethically not right!!!!! This place is a joke.Read Less

I have been using Allbrick for about 17 years I had a Lhasa apso for 15 years, the vet was great and Ellie was great grooming her, when it was time to put her down they were very supportive in my wishes. I now have a pit mix and she goes to the daycare to spend the day with Marci and kim, they are wonderful with her and her needs, when my Diamond girl comes home she eats right away and than she is out for the rest of the evening, Marci and Kim make the daycare worth going to and are so friendly and I don't think I would take my girl there if they ever decided to leave, in fact my husband is losing his job in January and we have to cut some bills but my Diamond will continue going because there is just no way she will survive without seeing them ladies and her BFFS, so that is something that we just cant cut.....I see remarks of how rude and how your animals were neglected, you must have gone on a super busy day, they say first impressions but what about second chances, no one is perfect right?Read Less

I have been taking my dogs here for years, when I had to put my Rosie down they helped me tremendously. However, now that they have new staff I was treated terribly when I picked my dog up from surgery today. I'm so very disappointed with the change. The vets are great; very caring and cautious of the animals. I felt very comfortable with the vet's handling of my pet. The receptionists, however, are incredibly rude. Many of them (at least two from the morning weekday shift) offer no friendliness, cock an attitude when you ask questions, and don't seem like they want to work there. I was ignored, snapped at and condescended to by one receptionist in particular. She had very little disregard for customer service. I also witnessed her step on a tiny four week old puppy without any apology to the owner. Another receptionist showed a shocking crassness toward a pet owner whose animal just passed. Since they are the first people pet owners interact with, it seems they should demonstrate SOME desire to want to do their job. This vet is the worse customer service ever. This is my second time that I get really upset with them. Dr. Yedo is the most uncaring, rude, egotistical vet I ever met. He never takes the time to explain the health care about my dog nor does he care. The first time I went to bring my dog to the vet, Dr Yedo mumbled something about needing help and then left. Another vet lady took over and she was nicer. My 13 year old dachshund needed tooth extraction done and so needed blood test. Ok, paid $105 for the test then 3 days later they called and said my dog needed urine test and they want me to extract the urine from the dachshund myself. Huh! Ok, managed to do that too with help from my daughter. Dropped the sample. Got a quote and off course has to wait a few more months to save for a $300 to $400 for tooth extraction. So, finally made the appointment and had to wait 4 weeks for a Saturday appointment and brought my dog for tooth extraction. Guess what Dr Yedo has the nerve to tell the blood test is outdated and he has to redo and pay another $100 and of course have to reschedule the surgery. And I said, it is the vet's and technician responsibility to inform patient that the blood test is outdated when I make the appointment 4 weeks ago and not tell me on the day of surgery. Can you imagine you schedule a surgery with a surgeon and the doctor says "Oops! Can do surgery today. We need to do this test. So, come back and reschedule." How would that make you feel? Dr Yedo simply said "We don't have time to check each and every record on file to make sure you have an updated blood test or not." So, that basically tells me "yeah I'm stupid, and its my fault". Is it that hard for the front desk/tech to call me a week before the surgery and say I needed to redo the blood test instead of actually pulling the record on the day of surgery. That tells me somebody is not doing their job, or they don't care. I'm never going to bring my pets to this vet anymore. Don't care if they are cheap but its not worth it being treated like you are stupid. I can get better service with another vet who is more caring and talk to me like I'm somebody. Never again. Please beware of this vet. Go someplace else where the Vet actually talk to you as a person. Other vets that I go to always talk to the pet owners in a more caring way and take the time to discuss issues instead of pushing you out the door. Read Less

Dr. Yedo is the best ever!! It made me so sad to read the bad reviews. I have been taking both of my dogs here for a long time. I would not take them anywhere else. Dr. Yedo has every right to reply to negative comments, especially after taking the time to investigate every complaint to see if it is founded. Good job Dr. Yedo and good job Allbrick!!! Read Less

This kennal and vet service has been the best i have ever had. The vets are compassionate and always polite. The care is A-1 and i should know as they have taken care of my dogs both at boarding and vet. services for over 20 years. Always a great Veterinary experience. Effective and caring service, convenient policies (easy to get in last minute when needed, great drop-off/pick-up schedule for all-day services like teeth cleaning and grooming, the fact that they offer grooming), best prices. They just renovated and added a bigger, nicer waiting area too. We were recommended here by friends initially. I'm sad to see there are bad reviews-- we have never been disappointed. Our Dragon and Munchkin are our babies (we don't have kids), and we trust these Doctors completely, and because of their affordable prices can bring the pups in whenever we need to. Read Less

I love this vet clinic! they are patient with my dramatic dog when she gets her shots and great with my other dog as well. you can't beat their prices anywhere in the metro so i drive 30 minutes to go here! when i am up there for an appointment the groomer can usually squeeze in my dogs for a nail trim! only $6!!!!!!
