My dog had an allergic reaction one day while I was out and I came home to her eyes swollen and bleeding like something out of a horror movie. It was terrifying and I had no idea what was doing on with her. I frantically drive to them bawling my eyes out thinking my baby was seriously hurt and they were GREAT. I don’t think I even had shoes on that’s how frantic I was and they saw me and immediately jumped into action and started helping. There was no delay and they took everything as if it was their own animal. I was so relieved when they told me that it was just some scratches on her inner eyelid and nothing serious. But they were great from start to finish especially in comforting me. And to be clear they are not an emergency care center, I knew that I was just frantic and drive to the closest clinic, which makes all they did even more amazing. Read Less

Just took my pup here for vaccinations and they were honestly so great. My vet was Kizzy English, she was direct and personable and I fully trusted her, and the tech was Sara Woodruff and she was amazing, so patient when my dog got defensive and very knowledgeable and sweet. They have lovingly cared for four of my feline roomies now! I found this vet shortly after moving here. It is always difficult to get used to a new doctor but the vets at VCA made it so easy! They truly listened and answered all of my questions. My only complaint is that their prices for some procedures, such as tooth removal, are much higher than other clinics in the area. Read Less

Great vet facility. We took our two shepherds here for 2yrs while we lived nearby. Dr. Cohen and Dr. Games provided such great care. The facility was up front about pricing and would go over costs prior to providing care. I really appreciated this! We moved to Parker and it’s too far to drive with our busy schedule. Love this office! We usually see Dr. Cohen and Jessica who are just amazing, but everyone here is friendly and helpful. Dr. Cohen always goes above and beyond to take her time and answer all of my questions and concerns. They both always take the time to let my dog sniff and get to know them before driving into examining her, and that extra effort to make sure she has a positive experience is so important to me and my pet. So grateful for the peace of mind that VCA brings to my family. I also highly recommend their Care Club. Dr. English and Dr. Games are both very good. My dog just loves Dr. English. I've been taking my Border-Collie mix to VCA Southeast over the last several years and wouldn't take her to any other. It's good they send you appointment reminders via US mail as well as text/email. Read Less

VCA Southwest is a fantastic place to take your pet! When I got my first dog, this time last year, they were so helpful and explained everything she would ever need. Dr. Cohen and the whole staff are really great and they always remember us when we come in. The CareClub was offered right away and if you are a budget-er like I am its great! This was the first visit for me and my beautiful dog Laiya. I didn't realize how sick my dog of 14 years was; the whole staff and especially Dr. AJ were absolutely amazing. They had never seen us or my dog before and had to tell me that my friend was dying. They treated us with so much kindness and compassion. I feel so at peace having left her in their hands. A few weeks later I get a card that the staff all signed, of course, making me cry again lol, but so happy her last day were with this wonderful group of people. Read Less

This is the 2nd worse place to bring your pet in the Denver area, the first being 29th. Went in for an ear infection because our regular vet couldn't take us . 1. Walk in ; no greeting, no friendliness from both women in the front. Paying wasn't any more warm or friendly, she left to help a customer while I was in the middle of paying... who does that in a non-emergency?! 2. The phone rings and ironically she was more pleasant to the person calling than she was to me, everyone who has worked customer service should know that you acknowledge the physical person who's there , THEN answer the phone. 3. The only positive was that Dr. Gamble was fantastic. 4. They sold me on the most expensive ear treatment available. A new gel that is inserted in the canal and is suppose to slowly release medicine . I could hear my dog yelp in pain while they were doing it in the back. Not worth it. 5. They should def. offer options, like A) pro vs. con, option B) pro vs. con etc... 6. 236$ for a simple to treat ear yeast infection, OUTRAGEOUS. 7. My biggest issue: After spending that much money and trying on this new medicine, I DID NOT receive a call back to see how my dog was doing, if he was getting better or worse , if I had additional questions, if the medicine was working , like I usually do from "normal" vet offices. Honestly the best group of people working with your animals. I have an austrialian shepered, 10 month old puppy. He is very hyper, so I thought that was going to be a problem. They treated my dog as if it was their own. They were very friendly, excited, happy, and playful with him. They spoke to him like he was the coolest dog they have ever seen, and they were very comforting during his procedures. I cannot describe enough how awesome they treated him. I peeked in the back room as they were testing him and my dog seemed so excited and comfortable. It made my heart smile to see people who truly care about my dog as much as I do. Read Less

I have 6 animals I take to this clinic/hospital, 3 dogs & 3 cats. Dr. Games and Dr. Cohen are very knowledgeable, have great bedside manners with my pets and genuinely care for the health of my pets. Kristy, a Vet Tech there, is very good as well. Joan, the Office Manger has been there many years and is a CVT as well. She is always helpful and willing to explain to the customer, when asked. I am a Vet Tech myself and appreciate good technicians. Where expense is concerned, it's a bit pricey, but that is due to the fact that VCA is a Corporate conglomerate that has consumed many smaller practices and prices are standardized under an umbrella the Corporation has set. I only go to Southeast VCA because of the excellent Doctors who reside there and who have practiced there in the past. I recommend them because of Dr.'s Games & Cohen. Their compassion and expertise overrides the costs they are expected to charge. They also allow some leeway, when able. Good work! Read Less
