This is the vet to choose, full stop; every staff member was fantastic. We have a highly neurotic, high-anxiety Dane mix with a myriad of GI issues and sensitivities, so any get trip is a massive ordeal. The very first person at check in got right down on the floor to the dog's level and let him sniff and take some of the fear away. They weren't pushy or tried to hurry him, just very sweet and reassuring the whole time. Once we were in the exam room out was more of the same, the tech and doc both got on the floor with him, took plenty of time to let him get comfortable. For him, it was by far and away the best (least worst?) trip!
For us, the staff took time to explain and talk through what to expect from the staff and exam. The tech and doc taught us a couple tricks to keep the dog calm and manage his anxiety along with their exam findings.
TL:DR Take your pet here. Period.

We've been going to Vida for the 3.5 years we've had our dog, and they've always been great, but this weekend they proved to be absolutely incredible. Our sweet pup had a couple health scares and was brought in multiple times in 3 days, which meant we saw a lot of different doctors and techs. Every single person was calm and kind in our moments of worry and sadness. We feel confident that Winston received the best care and will continue going here for any and all routine and/or emergencies!

I first went to Vida when my beloved dog had a stroke one night. Even though it was horrible and I had to have the dog euthanized, they were so great. They treated us with absolute respect. His name was Dobby, from Harry Potter, and I was so touched to see them write, "a free elf" on the back of his paw prints. My son gets care for his pet rats through them and they are fantastic. I have now switched all of my vet care to Vida. Great staff and gets.

This place has started charging extra for a fecal exam with their wellness exams. When I called to question this the woman, Susan, was incredibly rude to me and told me this has always been the policy - this is a charge I confirmed has never appeared on any of our bills. Susan was so awful that I don't feel comfortable calling back. It is not worth the $64.
I've been bringing all my animals here for 5+ years. I will no longer be bringing my pets here. The vets here really are amazing and we're sad to have to leave. However, it is not worth being treated so terribly.

It used to be a good vet hospital. We had a great experience with Dr. Keller awhile ago. She was very caring and knowledgeable. The staff was nice too. But after she left, it wasn't the same anymore. The staff and vets changed. If you have an exotic animal DO NOT bring it here. It's likely that it will die like ours did. They don't have a specialist (unless they hired a new one recently) and are afraid to try anything that would save your pet if it's an emergency. They seem to be more money oriented now too, unfortunately.

Absolutely the most wonderful Hosptial and vets. NO STAR RATING **** Dr. Keller is no longer with this practice - just notified 10 minutes before a critical appointment for a bunny tooth trim. My bunny was under treatment for pneumonia, was taking antibiotics for two months, had a question via email to Dr. Keller and got no response. She is a good vet, I hope she is doing well but she didn't notify she was leaving the practice and the practice didn't notify her patients. This is an exotic pet that requires special needs to prevent illness and it is such bad business to not keep in touch with the pet owners. I now have to search for a new vet a.s.a.p. to prevent my bunny from getting ill.

They got me into the office immediately, Were very thorough and didn't kill me on the cost. They have always called to make sure that my kids are still ding ok. Now that same puppy is the mother of 3 beautiful pits and guess what? All of them are extremely excited to go to the vet, yea I said that. Everyone knows them by name and they all make sure no matter which one of my clan of 5 comes in! They gave my a third granddaughter during an emergence c-section on my daughter and made sure my daughter came home to me! I will never go anywhere else! As a first time hedgehog owner, finding a vet was a little tricky; but I am so happy that I found Dr. Keller. She was incredibly sweet and very knowledgable- not to mention thorough. She is definitely my go to vet for exotic animals.
As far as everything else goes, the building felt clean and welcoming, and the rest of the staff that I interacted with (reception and Dr. Keller's assistant) were all incredibly friendly and willing to help in any way they could.
They made making, and even rescheduling, my appointment very easy and convienent. Overall it was a great experience, and I'm happy to know that my little guy is in good care.

We have taken all our animals to University Hills Animal Hospital, now VIDA Veterinary Care, for more almost 3 decades. I now live out of town, but when visiting with my new puppy who started having symptoms of a UTI, I brought him in to the newer facility located just up the street from the old. I am so glad this great vet has a wonderful new building to go with it. The techs are super knowledgeable and helpful, and the doctor we saw was fabulous. They were very thorough in explanation as well as procedures and treatment.

I love that Vida Veterinary Care is within walking distance from my home and that it is a nice facility with friendly and professional staff. However, on my first visit, I felt like the vet upsold me on a product I"m not sure my dog needed. Thus, I waited until an injury occurred for my second visit, and again felt like the vet was acting in a very aggressive manner for the nature of the injury. I was brave and explained to her my former experience, and she respectfully heard me out and expressed regret that I felt that way. She accepted my decision to pursue a less aggressive (and less expensive) approach and in subsequent visits even helped me find a less expensive prescription for my dog, which definitely helped me build trust in her and in the clinic. Maybe this is a symptom of city vets, but I do appreciate that the vet responded to my concerns. I'll be back and willing to advocate for what I think is best for my dog and I.

Let me say if I could give 10 stars I would. The team was not only caring and compassionate but Dr. Keller was absolutely fantastic. I'm sure my regular vet will be disappointed to hear I will be making the long drive and switching care for my sweet little girl. Don't go anywhere else! Dr. Keller is my favorite!!! She hs been caring for me since I was two weeks old and I just saw her last week for a nail trim!!! Every time I go there and she is always so friendly and so happy to see me and all of her other patients, my mom loves taking me to Vida and will never take me anywhere else !!! Dr. Keller is the best exotic veterinarian there is out there! This clinic is great. It is open until midnight, and --with your permission-- they will even call you after-hours with updates (which is amazing if you are a night-owl with a racing mind and crippling anxiety like me). The doctors and technicians are adept. I thought that everyone's kindness was genuine. While I was without my kitty, their compassion helped me find some peace. However, I'm confused how people can say that the services are "affordable" or "reasonably priced." After doing some research, I learned that I paid TWICE THE AVERAGE COST for my cat's treatment. With that being said, I recommend people to look around for other clinics that are less expensive. Had I not been able to pay the $2,000 bill, I would've lost my best friend. Not everyone is as fortunate.

One of the most kind, caring vets and staff we've met! We brought our dog in with a host of issues and in a lot of pain, and our vet was so sweet and gentle with him that he was wagging his tail by the time everything was over. They were also WONDERFUL about being upfront with pricing and sensitive to our budget, which has not been our experience elsewhere. I would highly, highly recommend this team, especially Megan (who was so sweet to our little guy, even when he was snappy) and our vet (I wish I could remember her name, she was excellent). I have had extremely positive experiences with Dr. Keller in dealing with my ill exotics. I trust her judgement completely as does my raptor education group who now uses her expertise to care for our over 20 raptors and numerous reptiles. I also appreciate their availability as many other clinics dealing in exotics have limited appointments available. This, to me, is a big problem in the Denver area for those of us parrot and reptile owners. I am really, really happy that I found this clinic.

I feel totally confident taking my dog to University Hills Animal Hospital. They are great at fitting my dog in for a convenient appointment. Ordering her prescriptions over the phone is quick and easy and they e-mail me my invoice. I feel like they really care about my dog. They have modern, clean exam rooms with up to date technology to care for my dog.

They are great with both our kitties! One of them was semi-feral from a local shelter, and the staff was great at calming her for her first cheek-ups. Everyone was friendly, and professional. And when we need special food and supplements, they always call to let us know when they come in. I really appreciate the level of communication.

Dr Jeff Gerlesits took care of my dog, Hazel. He spayed and completed a stomach pexy surgery. He was very kind, patient, and caring. He met with me and explained her surgery and took time to answer my questions. The nurses were great. He called as soon as her surgery was over so I did not have to worry. The hospital was clean and efficient. They filled medications for her to go home with. Great service, caring staff, I would go back in a heart beat. I do not trust just anyone with my pets, and I trusted Dr Jeff and his nurses 100%.

Worst customer service from a vet or any business that I've ever experienced. Numerous issues, including: - Unwilling to consider medications that previous vet had recommended for arthritis - Messed up prescription requested on multiple occasions - Unwilling to make prescriptions available on same day basis - Required me to bring my dog back after 3 months just to continue an ongoing standard prescription - Unwilling to prescribe through 1800 Pet Meds: force to buy through them and they charge more money - Told me I would have to wait 2 hours to pick up my dogs from boarding once I arrived after a week long trip because the staff was in training and couldn't be disturbed (eventually gave in after protestations) All of this after I spent $2000 for boarding my dogs within a 3-4 month period. Unacceptable! Would highly recommend another vet.

The prices are fair, booking online is easy, and they truly make myself and my dog feel cared about. Their after-hours have been extremely convenient for concerns and the staff is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. Thank you Vida!

This is the vet to choose, full stop; every staff member was fantastic. We have a highly neurotic, high-anxiety Dane mix with a myriad of GI issues and sensitivities, so any get trip is a massive ordeal. The very first person at check in got right down on the floor to the dog's level and let him sniff and take some of the fear away. They weren't pushy or tried to hurry him, just very sweet and reassuring the whole time. Once we were in the exam room out was more of the same, the tech and doc both got on the floor with him, took plenty of time to let him get comfortable. For him, it was by far and away the best (least worst?) trip!
For us, the staff took time to explain and talk through what to expect from the staff and exam. The tech and doc taught us a couple tricks to keep the dog calm and manage his anxiety along with their exam findings.
TL:DR Take your pet here. Period.

We've been going to Vida for the 3.5 years we've had our dog, and they've always been great, but this weekend they proved to be absolutely incredible. Our sweet pup had a couple health scares and was brought in multiple times in 3 days, which meant we saw a lot of different doctors and techs. Every single person was calm and kind in our moments of worry and sadness. We feel confident that Winston received the best care and will continue going here for any and all routine and/or emergencies!

I first went to Vida when my beloved dog had a stroke one night. Even though it was horrible and I had to have the dog euthanized, they were so great. They treated us with absolute respect. His name was Dobby, from Harry Potter, and I was so touched to see them write, "a free elf" on the back of his paw prints. My son gets care for his pet rats through them and they are fantastic. I have now switched all of my vet care to Vida. Great staff and gets.

This place has started charging extra for a fecal exam with their wellness exams. When I called to question this the woman, Susan, was incredibly rude to me and told me this has always been the policy - this is a charge I confirmed has never appeared on any of our bills. Susan was so awful that I don't feel comfortable calling back. It is not worth the $64.
I've been bringing all my animals here for 5+ years. I will no longer be bringing my pets here. The vets here really are amazing and we're sad to have to leave. However, it is not worth being treated so terribly.

It used to be a good vet hospital. We had a great experience with Dr. Keller awhile ago. She was very caring and knowledgeable. The staff was nice too. But after she left, it wasn't the same anymore. The staff and vets changed. If you have an exotic animal DO NOT bring it here. It's likely that it will die like ours did. They don't have a specialist (unless they hired a new one recently) and are afraid to try anything that would save your pet if it's an emergency. They seem to be more money oriented now too, unfortunately.

It would be my advice to stay away from these people as they are expensive and I would recommend thea where you take your bird that you stay with it at all times and stay away from this place especially if you have a bird or other exotic animal.

Absolutely the most wonderful Hosptial and vets. We took our little dachshund there since our vet is closed on Saturday and we were in a bit of a panic but they were so helpful, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. NO STAR RATING **** Dr. Keller is no longer with this practice - just notified 10 minutes before a critical appointment for a bunny tooth trim. My bunny was under treatment for pneumonia, was taking antibiotics for two months, had a question via email to Dr. Keller and got no response. She is a good vet, I hope she is doing well but she didn't notify she was leaving the practice and the practice didn't notify her patients. This is an exotic pet that requires special needs to prevent illness and it is such bad business to not keep in touch with the pet owners. I now have to search for a new vet a.s.a.p. to prevent my bunny from getting ill.

They got me into the office immediately, Were very thorough and didn't kill me on the cost. They have always called to make sure that my kids are still ding ok. Now that same puppy is the mother of 3 beautiful pits and guess what? All of them are extremely excited to go to the vet, yea I said that. Everyone knows them by name and they all make sure no matter which one of my clan of 5 comes in! They gave my a third granddaughter during an emergence c-section on my daughter and made sure my daughter came home to me! I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Vida and all you guys do for me and my family!

As a first time hedgehog owner, finding a vet was a little tricky; but I am so happy that I found Dr. Keller. She was incredibly sweet and very knowledgable- not to mention thorough. She is definitely my go to vet for exotic animals.
As far as everything else goes, the building felt clean and welcoming, and the rest of the staff that I interacted with (reception and Dr. Keller's assistant) were all incredibly friendly and willing to help in any way they could.
They made making, and even rescheduling, my appointment very easy and convienent. Overall it was a great experience, and I'm happy to know that my little guy is in good care.

She is probably the most intelligent woman I have met which translates to her excellent, evidence-based approach to veterinary medicine. More than anything, she treats me and my furry family members with love, as if we were part of her family. We have taken all our animals to University Hills Animal Hospital, now VIDA Veterinary Care, for more almost 3 decades. I now live out of town, but when visiting with my new puppy who started having symptoms of a UTI, I brought him in to the newer facility located just up the street from the old. I am so glad this great vet has a wonderful new building to go with it. The techs are super knowledgeable and helpful, and the doctor we saw was fabulous. They were very thorough in explanation as well as procedures and treatment.

I love that Vida Veterinary Care is within walking distance from my home and that it is a nice facility with friendly and professional staff. However, on my first visit, I felt like the vet upsold me on a product I"m not sure my dog needed. Thus, I waited until an injury occurred for my second visit, and again felt like the vet was acting in a very aggressive manner for the nature of the injury. I was brave and explained to her my former experience, and she respectfully heard me out and expressed regret that I felt that way. She accepted my decision to pursue a less aggressive (and less expensive) approach and in subsequent visits even helped me find a less expensive prescription for my dog, which definitely helped me build trust in her and in the clinic. Maybe this is a symptom of city vets, but I do appreciate that the vet responded to my concerns. I'll be back and willing to advocate for what I think is best for my dog and I.

I had never heard of Vida Veterinary Care until my regular vet encountered an issue that required knowledge outside her scope. She referred me to Vida and Dr. Keller. Let me say if I could give 10 stars I would. The team was not only caring and compassionate but Dr. Keller was absolutely fantastic. I'm sure my regular vet will be disappointed to hear I will be making the long drive and switching care for my sweet little girl. Don't go anywhere else! Dr. Keller, you my dear lady, are truly animals gift from God.

Dr. Keller is my favorite!!! She hs been caring for me since I was two weeks old and I just saw her last week for a nail trim!!! Every time I go there and she is always so friendly and so happy to see me and all of her other patients, my mom loves taking me to Vida and will never take me anywhere else !!! Dr. Keller is the best exotic veterinarian there is out there! And her team of technicians is also incredible they are so attentive and amazing to all of their patients and treat them with real love and care versus just doing their job.

Took my cat MoJo in today. Great service, the staff is very friendly and informative. From the moment I walked in I could tell they care! Best service I have had in a long time!! The doctor even followed up with a phone call very personal, love it!! We left with every question asked and very informed! I am happy we found such a great place for our pets! Looking forward to taking my two dogs in!

This clinic is great. It is open until midnight, and --with your permission-- they will even call you after-hours with updates (which is amazing if you are a night-owl with a racing mind and crippling anxiety like me). The doctors and technicians are adept. I thought that everyone's kindness was genuine. While I was without my kitty, their compassion helped me find some peace. However, I'm confused how people can say that the services are "affordable" or "reasonably priced." After doing some research, I learned that I paid TWICE THE AVERAGE COST for my cat's treatment. With that being said, I recommend people to look around for other clinics that are less expensive. Had I not been able to pay the $2,000 bill, I would've lost my best friend. Not everyone is as fortunate.

One of the most kind, caring vets and staff we've met! We brought our dog in with a host of issues and in a lot of pain, and our vet was so sweet and gentle with him that he was wagging his tail by the time everything was over. They were also WONDERFUL about being upfront with pricing and sensitive to our budget, which has not been our experience elsewhere. I would highly, highly recommend this team, especially Megan (who was so sweet to our little guy, even when he was snappy) and our vet (I wish I could remember her name, she was excellent). Lots of love and hugs from Teddy, and a big thank you!

My pup got sick after we moved into our new apartment, and we were really worried about him. I was able to call their office on a Saturday and they said they were happy to help him. Even though they were pretty slammed (give that it was an urgent care day), we were able to sit in a room immediately and were treated nicely, offered coffee and water and received great care from the staff. Definitely recommend.

I have had extremely positive experiences with Dr. Keller in dealing with my ill exotics. I trust her judgement completely as does my raptor education group who now uses her expertise to care for our over 20 raptors and numerous reptiles. I also appreciate their availability as many other clinics dealing in exotics have limited appointments available. This, to me, is a big problem in the Denver area for those of us parrot and reptile owners. I am really, really happy that I found this clinic.

Dr Jeff Gerlesits took care of my dog, Hazel. He spayed and completed a stomach pexy surgery. He was very kind, patient, and caring. He met with me and explained her surgery and took time to answer my questions. The nurses were great. He called as soon as her surgery was over so I did not have to worry. The hospital was clean and efficient. They filled medications for her to go home with. Great service, caring staff, I would go back in a heart beat. I do not trust just anyone with my pets, and I trusted Dr Jeff and his nurses 100%.

Worst customer service from a vet or any business that I've ever experienced. Numerous issues, including: - Unwilling to consider medications that previous vet had recommended for arthritis - Messed up prescription requested on multiple occasions - Unwilling to make prescriptions available on same day basis - Required me to bring my dog back after 3 months just to continue an ongoing standard prescription - Unwilling to prescribe through 1800 Pet Meds: force to buy through them and they charge more money - Told me I would have to wait 2 hours to pick up my dogs from boarding once I arrived after a week long trip because the staff was in training and couldn't be disturbed (eventually gave in after protestations) All of this after I spent $2000 for boarding my dogs within a 3-4 month period. Unacceptable! Would highly recommend another vet.
