Not there when you need them - This clinic was the absolute best when we first visited. We took our baby girl in because she wasn’t feeling well: Sneezing, a little coughing, and watery eyes. The Vet we saw was incredibly AWESOME. Our cats are strictly indoor cats. So, taking our girl to the vet was traumatic for both us and the kitty. The vet that saw us was incredible. Laying her head on the table and facing our kitty to talk to her. She put us all at ease. The diagnosis was made. The procedure took place. Our kitty was as good as new. We swore we would never go anywhere else. That was years ago. Since then, we’ve been there maybe five times with a couple more of our kitties. (We have three). Problem is: every time we have requested to have an appointment with that particular vet – it was decided by the receptionist – Erika – that the particular doctor we asked for was too busy and she would schedule us with someone else. Why was it Erika’s decision? I don’t know. A: She is not a vet – and B: she is not the one paying my bill. There were a couple of times over the past five years where Erika basically told us if we didn’t want to wait a week to see the vet we requested, we should take our baby to an emergency facility. (and the places she would refer us to were clear out in Parker or Aurora). At any rate – when it becomes a time of urgent need – this receptionist is the one who makes the final call. Perhaps the Vets here know she plays this game of “know-it-all” receptionist and they condone this treatment –- or perhaps they don’t. But in the end – it’s really sad that there is zero continuity. You don’t get the one doctor who gets to know your furball – it’s all up to the receptionist – and different doctors make diagnostic decisions based on hand written notes of others, rather than the hands-on care of getting to know your pet. “One Doctor” following your pet’s life is a lot more effective than “several doctors” reading notes left by others and then making life altering decisions. We will never again refer anyone at all to the All Cat Clinic in Englewood. Read Less

We've been bringing our cats here for the last five years, and have had wonderful care for all our felines from the kittens to our senior cats. We get helpful advice from Dr. Stone along with suggestions for preventive care to avoid possible health issues. And I think the cats really like the absence of dogs in the waiting room the last thing they need when stressed enough in their cat carriers. Read Less

This is the third year in a row that we have had an annual check up and Lion's Cut on our Rag-doll cat. The cat is in good health and the grooming has always looked great when finished. Our cat gets some pretty serious matting and I have yet to see a scab on the cat where they shaved him too close. That tells me they take a lot of care in shaving these cats down. This was my first time visiting the All Cat Clinic.  I brought my cat Wally there as he was way overdue for a wellness exam.  The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable from the first call I made to schedule an appointment to follow up phone conversations after the exam.  We got right in the next day for an exam.  We arrived on time and they got us right in.  No waiting.  The nurse and doctor (Doctor Stone) handled my cat well and spoke kindly and respectfully to me. They throughout explained what options were available and why.  Since my cat had not had an exam or shots in numerous years and is getting older we did a lot.  He got an overall exam, full blood and urine test, fecal test, 3 shots, and tarter control tablets for his water to remove tartar from his teeth.  All of this was around $375, which I think was a very affordable price. When I left the appointment my clothes were full of cat hair and they offered me a lint roller.  I would highly recommend anyone to go to this clinic!! Read Less

I just moved to downtown Denver with my elderly cat (14 y/o).  My cat needs on-going care, and when I moved here I found All Cats Clinic on a Wednesday morning. I explained my cats conditions and we scheduled the earliest appt they had for Monday at 9am.  I was on a list for an earlier appt if anyone cancelled. On Saturday morning I received a call cancelling my appt because, "a long time clients cat needed care!"  They asked if I could come in at 11am or leave my cat there all day. 11am didn't work for my work schedule and my cat hates going to the vet, so leaving him there all day seemed like a poor option. I asked if I could come in earlier, since they were bumping me to accommodate another client. The vet said NO!  I was appalled and said I was surprised by how they're treating a new client with a cat that needs care. They made a snide comment about my cats condition and I decided this was not a vet I wanted to have care for my cat. It appalling to treat any client the way they treated me. Read Less

For several years, my cat has occasionally seemed under the weather - most days he's fine, some days he seems crabby and isn't his usual self. Blood work and other tests were completed at other vets, with no answer as to the cause. I took Gabe to see Dr. Stone today and apparently his gums are inflamed. From the first time I called the All Cat Clinic, I was treated like a long time customer. They spent time with me listening to my problem, helping me think through options (my regular vet had referred me to a "specialist" at the emergency clinic which is VERY expensive) and potential costs. I called twice and the second time made an appointment. One of my cats had been suffering from a strange skin condition and had been undergoing a series of medication and food modification (not easy when you have 4 cats!) treatments from antibiotics to steroids to anti-fungals, for over 2 months with no improvement, and with the condition getting a little worse with every passing week. Dr. Stone explained all the treatment options - from allergy tests (very expensive also) to a more conservative and inexpensive treatment of trying steroids again, but at a higher dose for a longer period of time than previously prescribed. He suggested if that didn't work it may be an auto-immune issue but that if so it would also be treatable. Within the first week the scabby patches had fallen off and my guy's coat was growing back! I will never take one of my cats elsewhere! On top of that he recommended a product for their water that has improved all their breath and will help keep their teeth healthy so we decrease the need for cleanings. win-win! Read Less

I took my cat in for a UTI. She had already seen another vet who put her on an antibiotic that wasn't working. The vet here (Dr. Stone) said that he would try another antibiotic and that he wouldn't need to culture the urine since it was obvious that my cat still had bacteria in her urine that the other antibiotic wasn't helping. He said over the phone that I would be getting a $10 credit on my account and that I should pick up the new antibiotic the next day. (I was talking with him on speakerphone and my friend was in the room and witnessed this.) When I showed up the next day (Oct 22), instead of a $10 credit I had a bill for $110! I told the office manager what the vet had said about the credit on the phone the day before. She talked to him, and he called and left a message on Oct 23 saying that they ended up having to do the culture. Didn't even give me the option of saying "no" to the culture testing. Just did it and then charged me after he specifically said I'd be getting a $10 credit and that he didn't need to run the culture. I went in to talk to him, and he said that he never said he wouldn't run the culture and showed me the culture testing results. I didn't care about the culture testing results--I understood why he did it, I don't understand why he said he wouldn't run it, ran it without asking me, and now he's charging me $110 for it. I should be able to say yes or no to a procedure or test. All he could talk about was why he ran the test and that it was a normal procedure to run the test, which was not my complaint in the first place. I would have been fine with the whole situation if he would have just said in the beginning that he was running the culture and that I'd be charged $121 for it. I'd been here before and had seen Dr. Lobojko and she was great, but I won't come back because I don't want Dr. Stone treating my cat. Also, before coming here or going to any other vet, I would advise everyone to check the Colorado state board of Veterinary Medicine to check for complaints against the vet. There aren't enough stars for how much I love this place! I moved to the area last year and took my Atticus in for his first appointment back in March. The vet we saw was very knowledgeable and a great resource. Atticus took ill at the beginning of this month and had to be taken to emergency and spend sometime in the pet hospital. After his discharge ACC was the first place I took him. Cost for the surgery he needed was a real concern of mine because of the money I had to spend for his ER stint and the fact that I am a full-time grad student with a part-time job. The vet kindly referred me to several low-cost clinics. Ultimately and unfortunately, and a story for another time, my experience at the other place was nothing short of a nightmare. His surgery wasn't done correctly the first time and when I noticed he wasn't well All Cat Clinic was there to take him in for the day and monitor him. They figured out the surgery hadn't been entirely successful and recommended I take him back for them to do the surgery correctly. Which they did, and luckily free of charge. But then when I picked him up and got him home I noticed that he still had the IV catheter in his arm! I took him right over to ACC and they were there to greet me and Atticus with open arms and took care of the situation. All throughout this ordeal they have called me to check on Atticus, to make sure he is well, and to also see how I am doing. I have no doubt that every single person that works there cares so much for each cat they see and their humans as well. Thank you ACC for all you do! Read Less

A vet clinic that only treats cats?! What a brilliant idea! One of the things I've always dreaded about bringing my cat to the vet is how scared cats get when they are around barking dogs or other strange animals. Cat owners know how finicky kitties are, and I think this cat clinic is amazing for offering this! I've taken my cat here on a couple of occasions. The first time was to get her shaved (she had a ton of dread locks). They use anesthesia for this, which I think is amazing, i can't imagine they could have done it without anesthesia :)  The other time was to get a growth removed. The vets and staff are very professional, provide good communication and even do a follow-up call to see how kitty is doing. It is very apparent that everyone working here loves cats and the great care they provide proves that. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs to bring their kitty to a vet. Read Less

My cat had been suffering from sinus problems for a while and I read that it possibly could have something to do with having bad teeth. Cat dental work can be super pricey, but it needed to be done. I am so glad I took my cat here! The people here are super friendly, patient but efficient and clearly know what they are doing. In fact the appointment and surgery were done so quickly I was skeptical that they even did anything. The doctor explained that the 2 teeth were easy to pull, they cleaned the other 6 and since he has so few teeth, they offered to lower the cost for me (I didn't even have to ask!). I ended up spending half as much as I had been quoted by another vet and the results have been great. They didn't prescribe any unnecessary post op medications because they said he would recover just fine without them and they were right! He was back to normal within hours. He ate normally, and almost immediately I saw noticeable improvements in his demeanor. He is more social, seems happier and hasn't had any sinus problems since the surgery! I rescued a ragdoll type cat that had been terrorized and abused by his previous male owner and his children.  This poor cat had been declawed on all 4 paws and is unable to groom himself.  He gets terribly and painfully matted each year (since he has very long hair) and must be shaved at least annually.  For a cat, it doesn't get much more traumatic than being shaved.  I was SO thrilled to find the All Cat Clinic because they have taken such compassionate care of him and insist on the cats being asleep when they're shaved.  They've given him a beautiful "lion cut" for the past 2 years, and even gave me a mild sedative to administer before bringing him in.  That alone worked wonders since we're not even able to pick him up, much less load him into a carrier without causing massive stress to him. They were so understanding about what a huge undertaking it is for us just to get him there.  Finding them has been such a relief for our family!I also took in our 17 yr old calico, who is beginning to lose weight, even though her appetite has increased tremendously.  We thought, for sure, she was in kidney failure.  All Cat Clinic ran a senior screen blood workup and called with the good news that she's just fine for her age.  Most vet offices I've been to have really taken such monetary advantage of us over the years.  Since I do a lot of rescue work, I so appreciate a clinic that balances the health of the cat vs. the cost of care and tries to strike an acceptable medium.I've had many, many cats over my lifetime and I can easily say that this is the best clinic I have ever been to for my cats.  Plus, there's the added benefit of knowing there won't be any barking dogs to stress out the cats while they're there either.  I recommend them so much to anyone looking for a caring, calm place to bring their cats. We've been taking our cats here for three and a half years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Elsey is actually a somewhat renowned veterinarian since he developed a litter that attracts cats to urinate in their box rather than in places where they shouldn't. I was using his litter before I even knew that he was the resident vet at All Cat Clinic. The staff is so down to earth and comforting. We have two older cats and have had to deal with some pretty hard situations with their health and All Cat Clinic has been wonderful in the way that they helped us to deal with difficult decisions and grief. When our cats are sick we know they are in good hands. We have two younger cats and had one spay and one neuter done there and they treated our kitties like family. They make time for you and even try to fit you in if you need your cat to be seen right away, and you don't have to worry about dogs in the waiting room freaking out your already nervous cat. That being said, my cats don't even really get freaked out anymore when they go. They seem to know where they are and like the staff. I love this place! **I'm so sorry that happened to you Erin J., that must have been really upsetting. I hope your cat is okay! I know that no doctor or vet can catch everything but I would encourage anyone to go to All Cat Clinic. I think they err on the side of not recommending expensive testing and trying more traditional approaches first to see if they help. That MIGHT have been what happened when you were there. When my older cat was so sick she almost died the emergency vet clinic recommended $2300 in testing and treatments while All Cat Clinic gave a second opinion and set me up with an at home kitty I.V. and showed me how to insert the needle and charged me I think about $200 for everything, including special food. I really thought we were going to lose her after the emergency vet said I had to put her in intensive care or she would die, but All Cat Clinic gave me hope AND saved my cat's life! She got well and is thriving. I'm so grateful to them. Read Less

Other than the tiny parking lot (you can park in the street, by the way), the vets are fantastic, the vet techs are terrific and the office staff are fabulous. Years ago, string had wrapped around our cat's intestines and he nearly died because he was unable to absorb water. We took him to the animal hospital, VCCC (also excellent) and they said they could do the operation for 7k. As much as we loved our cat, we didn't have 7k. The staff at VCCC said that Dr. Elsey could probably do it for less even though his facilities aren't as high tech. So we did, the cost was considerably less & our cat was as good as new. Apparently the surgery was long and tedious, but Dr. Elsey plugged away. Dr. Elsey and Dr. Lobojko are tops when it comes to cat. It's worth going out of your way. Read Less

I review almost every business and product I try, and this is my second one-star review. I have a few issues with my cats - asthma, allergies, some behavioral nuisances. I drove 45 minutes because I figured an all cat clinic would be most resourceful for help with my asthmatic cat. I saw a new vet there, she said she had been working there for about 6 months and not sure of her name, and although she attempted to be courteous, she was less than amusing. She acted like she just wanted to get the exams over with. I asked a few questions and she babbled on about herself , blowing me off every question. She kept commenting about how fat my cat was, and I genuinely have been trying to solve her obesity, so when I told her what I had been trying and that nothing was working... she just said, ""some cats just want to be fat."" The tech had more advice than the vet did. Not only did she cut me off during conversation, she had no intention of addressing my concerns and was borderline rude. On top of that, she left for a moment and came back in, only to absolutely reek of cigarette smoke. Although the prices are very cheap, I will not be returning. Read Less

Dr. Elsey and Dr. Lobojko are two of the best vets I have ever met. I have been taking my cats here since I moved to Denver 8 years ago and I will never go anywhere else. They have helped me manage general checkups and care, emergencies (intestinal obstruction), as well as chronic illness (CRF and asthma) in my babies with the utmost attention and professionalism I could ask for. They have always offered practical solutions and advice while being sensitive to my sometimes panicky disposition. Let's face it, when there's a vet emergency, it's easy to be taken advantage of (Firehouse Animal Hosp did a great job of that, $300 in unneeded tests before I ended up walking out with a still very sick cat!) but All Cat has never done anything other than what is needed and at a reasonable cost. You don't need to go anywhere else. Read Less

I went to 3 different vets and each one wanted to keep my cat overnight just for X-rays. No way! My cat kitten is a house kitty and 15 years old. I'm not leaving him just for X-rays. Finally I got reccommended Dr Elsey! (Who also has his own line of kitty litter products!) They took GREAT care of kitten and talked with me one on one and I waited just a few minutes for X-rays. They are very through and very affordable. I had them do the works on him when I found bl**d on my floor! They did stool, bl**d, and bl**d work and an exam and medication and I also got a bag of his cat litter and bought some canned cat food and it was under $400! I know placed that would charge triple that! They really are sweet to your animala nd you don't hear animals screaming, cause they are happy and cared for. I had to leave him for the day this time, due to my work schedule and to my surprize kitten was more calm when I went to get him then he was when I dropped him off. I drive all the way from Downtown, just to take my baby to Elsey! If you love your animal go to an informed vet! All cat clinic! Read Less

I took both of my cats to this clinic and I was very impressed with the quality of service I got for the low price that I paid. The staff seemed like they really cared about their feline clients and they treated my kitties with TLC. I really like this clinic above the others that I have been to (i.e.- Alameda East and their SERIOUSLY high prices) and I am going to use them in the future for anything my cats need. Both of my cats had surgery and one also had a teeth cleaning, the price for those proceedures is normally around 700 dollars and UP at other clinics. All Cats did a great job at half the price and saved me hundreds of dollars. I am definitely going to use them again. Good care at a great cost. This place is great, and I mean it! Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

I got an elderly cat at Denver Animal Shelter and they gave us a free vet visit.  We chose to take our new cat Twee to this place.  They were fast, friendly, and so caring.

They even called to check on him a week later :) Read Less

Took my Fizz cat to this place last weekend and they were open on a Saturday morning (with an appointment) & cater only to cats, which I think is awesome. I filled out a form and everyone was really friendly and nice to my cat. She just needed a regular checkup and updated shots. Everything was done relatively quickly, the vet was really good with my cat and those shots were done fast and he let us ask any questions we had. Fizz even got a little toy when we left. So yes, we will definitely be going back here. Thanks! Read Less

They will also instruct you on the feral cat Trap-Neuter-Return which I highly recommend, too. Read Less

Read Less

We've been taking our cats to the All Cat Clinic since they were kittens 16 years ago. We did try other vets just to compare & see if there were even better places, but there aren't.

Read Less
