My husband and I adopt large-breed senior dogs, all with medical issues. HFPH as been a good fit for us with their specialized services and testing (at reasonable cost). It's a large practice, but with a smaller clinic/hospital feel due to the very personable and efficient staff. I've never encountered such welcoming and invested front office personnel before, and the vet teachs are compassionate and skilled. For us, with our special needs seniors, requesting a 'primary vet' has been very beneficial. Each visit with someone familiar is more comfortable for our dogs, plus our vet there is very tuned in to our pets' medical histories without time needed to wade through previous detailed notes by a different vet. So, if you're looking for a long-term veternary provide, especially for a pet with complicated or ongoing medical issues, I'd recommend requesting one vet with whom to build a relationship benefitting both your pet(s) and you. However, for even routine visits, you'll encounter a clean, updated, and positive energy environment. Lab work is processed promptly and their pharmacy is exceptional. Most of all, it's the people who make the difference . . . who clearly love what they do, which translates to high-quality, compassionate care. Read Less
