I recently had a sick dog and my vet was full so my wife and I took our pooch in here. We did not have the greatest experience, but it could've been worse. We checked in while we waited in the lobby. The main waiting area is large and luxurious; quite comfortable to be honest. The exam room was much smaller and less comfortable though. The nurse was friendly, but was a poor listener/communicator. We believe she neglected to relay certain information to our doctor (certain symptoms, and our request to hold off on prescribing medication until we could review the blood tests). Another thing that didn't settle well with us was when one nurse told us she (dog) was well hydrated, and another told us she was quite dehydrated. The doctor was very brief and ambiguous while she catalogued her symptoms. Example: the vet took her stethoscope and at some point said, "mmm, rough." She left shortly after without offering much explanation of her findings, and not expounding on the "rough" comment. The nurse then returned and gave us what seemed an inflated estimate, including things like: $55 for "unknown misc drugs" and $210 for 3 xrays. I asked why the xrays, I've never required them when I've had the flu. She told us the doctor thought the breathing was rough. We asked what that meant and the nurse smiled and shrugged. To her credit though, it was kinda up to the vet to explain to us, not her. Another faux pas was when we received our estimate; at the top it wasn't our information, it had someone else's full name, address, phone etc. I don't see some giant conspiracy here, but my wife and I just both recently had our personal information stolen and are still dealing with to this day. This is a careless mix up, but one with mentioning. Also, we were not able to stay with our dog, for the blood drawing and shot she received. I've never experienced that before; My vet (Front Range Vet Clinic) encourages familial support for comfort. In summary, could've been better, could've been worse. I don't think I could recommend this place to my family unless it was truly an emergency. It felt cozy, but also like a money trap. I couldn't relinquish my trust to them for these reasons. Read Less
