We boarded our dog there for 4 nights and our dog was attacked while in their care and we didn't receive a call or found out in till we got there to pick him up. Afterwards we were told a different story by every person we talked to and never got a real answer. Ran out of GOOD, Quality doctors in the Evergreen area. Dr. Dimeo and his staff offer quality caring pet care that I can appreciate. I have a dog that is very special to my wife and myself, and is afraid of most situations she is not used to. they have taken excellent care of her so far. I will be taking her back in for an ultrasound, and a Dental cleaning, also will be taking my cat back in for vaccinations. You could use another Veterinary Technician with a little more experience. Took our 3 yr old dog in for an annual check up today. We had switched to Mountain Parks Veterinary a year ago when our previous vet retired. Found out when I went to the appointment that Dr. Altman had sold the practice recently and is no longer there. The staff was great as always. Dr. Dimeo, the new vet, was very nice. Dr. Altman was able to fit our dog in right away after recognizing his emergency state of health. They kept him in the office to monitor his vitals and keep him on fluids. Not only was the care great, their follow-up was top notch. Dr. Altman personally contacted us over the weekend (even on Sunday) to make sure he was continuing to improve. Dr. Altman and his staff are absolutely wonderful. He is very knowledgeable he always provided excellent care for both of my dogs. On one occasion he able to diagnose my very sick dog and get her the lifesaving treatment she needed in no time. Later on when my dog had to be put down, Dr. Altman and his staff demonstrated immeasurable kindness and compassion. I highly recommend this vet! The dog boarding is great too. Read Less

I am grateful for Dr Altman, his wife, Elise, and the staff . Their having Saturday hours brought me there when I was unable to get into my regular veterinarian. Unexpectedly, I had to take my cat in on emergency visit and found the staff to be beyond excellent in helping us. Even though Happy Toes is no longer with us, I will be forever grateful to them for easing his pain and for being so empathetic and caring. I will be changing over to this office for my small animal care in the near future. Really great place. Dr. Altman and his team are the most caring people around. My dog goes to Mountain Parks vet and their doggie day care right next door. My hounds are my family, and these people seem to not only recognize that but make recommendations and provide care based on what they would do for their own pets. From my first phone call to the end of our appointment I felt like we were in great hands. The staff is extremely compassionate and understanding. The atmosphere is comfortable. I've been a foster mom in other states for over 20 years and after a dozen other Vets I must say this is the best! The Dr and staff were amazing. I look forward to meeting the other Vet and staff members. UPDATE: Our new puppy became ill and of course we didnt hesitate taking her here. I met more staff and as always Julie at the front desk is the best! My 2 year old was possessed by a demon that day and everyone kept assuring me it was ok. I was embarrassed but felt they understood. The Dr listened to me, did a very thorough exam, gave me tailored advice for my pup and a treatment plan that would work for everyone. Julie followed up with us early the next day. They care about my dog, they have the staff, knowledge and facility to accommodate ALL of her needs. Why take your pet anywhere else and risk an unpleasant experience when you can let MPV ease your mind knowing your pet is in the best hands possible. They are not a cookie cutter establishment. I had two puppies with parvo. Doctor Altman was being amazing in the help he provided us. Him and his team checked on or pups every day. In the end I lost my baby Charlie. But because of Doctor Altman and his love of animals we still have our Sacha. Thank you all for everything you did for us. We are forever grateful. I recommend mountain parks to everyone I meet. Dr. Altman is very thorough and honest.  We've come to Dr. Altman many times for my dog's arthritis, a disease from a tick, separation anxiety, badly torn dew claw and most recently for a second opinion after another vet recommended TPLO surgery which Dr. Altman assured us was totally unnecessary.  I also appreciate that the staff calls and follows up regarding their pet patients and send email reminders regarding vaccines, etc. Read Less

They just acquired a new 'Family' we will be bringing all of our family members for all their needs. January 3 2015(on a Saturday) we had an emergency with our cat Ming, she was throwing up blood, they got us in right away, they were very compassionate, gentle, kind, understanding and loving to her(and me an upset and emotional pet parent), they made sure I knew exactly what was going on, and made sure I understood everything that was to be done along with any of the risks, and answered any questions I had. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. at 12:30 p.m. she went into surgery, she came home later that day, they made sure I knew what after care needed to be done. They are only opened on Saturday from 8:00 am-1:00 pm, they stayed to operate on her. Thank you Dr. Altman & Staff !!! You are truly amazing. Read Less

Pure awesomeness! I am an ER nurse and am pretty careful about picking a doctor or a vet for my family. I have moved a lot, so I have my fair share of vets to take care of my furry babies. Been a pet mommy for over 20 years and with the exception of one other doctor in Texas, this vet is as good as it gets! Very impressed by the thoroughness and gentle care they provide and how genuinely interested Dr. Altman and his staff are in the health and wellbeing of our furry family members. Highly recommended!
