Newly built in 2001, Animal Hospital of Falcon is a full service veterinary clinic, committed to providing quality care for your pet, in a friendly environment that is also sensitive to the needs of our valued clients.
The location of Animal Hospital of Falcon is well suited to service those in the rapidly expanding town of Falcon/Peyton, and to our many clients located throughout the rest of El Paso County in Colorado. The hospital staff are trained to provide the best care for each and every pet and owner.
Dr. Anita Baker, DVM and Staff, combine for over forty years experience in veterinary medicine. Their partnership to create Animal Hospital of Falcon was visionary in that Eastern El Paso County was in need of a quality animal hospital. Both Anita and the staff are committed to the community and to the service that Animal Hospital of Falcon can provide in a clean and friendly environment. Recent staff expansions have brought two additional veterinarians on board, each with their own area of expertise which enhance the multitude of services provided by the clinic. We now have three veterinarians on our team, Dr. Anita Baker, Dr. Amy Kranz, and Dr. Ayomi Meadows.
We work by appointments and a quick telephone call will not only let you know if the clinic can treat your pet, but will allow you to schedule an appointment at your convenience. Late hours Monday through Thursday allow our hard working clients to schedule appointments later in the day while still offering a full line of veterinary services.

I was able to bring both of my animals to one appointment. Took exceptional great care of them and made sure I understood each and everything that was done and what would be needed in the future. And 3 days later, my cat dies. I called to get some answers, and was told that Dr Baker would call me back. She never did. Every time I try calling Animal hospital of Falcon. They never pick up. I went in person, to let them know about losing our family pet. They had no compassion. They were so concerned about making money. Do not go to this place. Horrible experience. 😢

There are other vets closer, but i choose to drive the 30 minutes from home to have my beloved animals treated here. Dr's and techs and office staff are very friendly, very supportive, have taken good care of my pets, and understand my financial constraints when choosing options for care. They answer all my questions, and provide good resources and information. They are reasonably flexible, and do their best to accommodate emergencies and schedule appointments. I recommend them highly, and have no plans to change to a closer vet.

They took two weeks to diagnose my dog with pancreatitis. They had me believing It was initially cancer and we even had a surgery scheduled when they discovered It wasn’t. After that it still took several days while my dog was severely ill. I had to been seen at a different vet because they were closed. That vet requested I send my dogs medical records over in the event this happens again so they know her. So I did! Each time I called falcon animal hospital they harressed me about why I faxed her records to another vet clinic! My last straw was when they messed up my dogs seizure medication saying it’s not their fault since they weren’t the original vet who wrote the prescription! They’ve been writing It for a year so I don’t get how this was even a thing. This prescription keeps my dog alive. I’m done going here. The staff seems caring enough but I’m just over the issues.

I've followed Dr. Baker for more than 20 years!!!! Love her no nonsense approach and what's best for both my animals and our family as a whole. She is without a doubt one of the most compassionate and caring people I've had the pleasure of working with. Recently we have seen Dr. Meadows for our newest edition, Max our rescue. He is apprehensive at best when dealing with anyone outside our family. Her kind and gentle approach has made him feel so at ease he actually was happy to see her on his second visit! Quite the conquest Dr. Meadows!!! Thank you to the staff for the kindness and efficiency we greatly appreciate you all!!!

I have been taking my dogs and cats to this clinic for 18+ years. I have found them to be very caring and knowledgeable.But within the last year there has been a turn over of Doctors and some staff. My personal opinion is that was all for the best. My primary doctor is Dr. Amy Krantz. I love her...She found cancer tumors that the old doctors said it was just a benign syst. Also I find everyone to be very friendly and helpful. They have extended their hours and are now open on Saturdays. I think you all are doing everything right for the customer and patients. I am happy to give them and 5 rating.

These people are amazing. They have seen my family pets for the last 15 years, and regardless of where I live in Colorado, they will be the only vets I take my animals to. Dr. Baker is a truly wonderful person who really cares about animals and is visually passionate about her job. She brought my dog back from the brink of death, nursed her back to health, and saved the dog/me from a very painful and expensive amputation. She saved my cat from being blinded by a corneal rupture. The pricing is quite affordable, and with a pharmacy on site it makes it convenient as well. They have also offer cremation services on site, and have cremated my babies as well when they passed. I would recommend this practice to anyone, and I do recommend them to everyone I know in the need of emergency, and normal veterinary care.

They have been pleasant. But, they leave me feeling like all they care about is money. I just adopted two puppies. They had the shots, just needed boosters. I was charged $70 per animal for an exam. They are healthy, didn't need it. It took 5-8 minutes. Plus, the fees for the vaccinations. I get this is the first time I brought them in, but really? Maybe a reduced rate since I just paid $300 per dog...which included spay/neuter/checkup/shots? They didn't even tell me when I made the appointment that I would be paying so much.

Love Falcon Animal Hospital. The prices are very reasonable and the hospital has the equipment available to perform any tests right there and then. I'm not a big fan of waiting for lab work to come back at a later time as I'm impatient and want my answers immediately. I love the fact that the doctors here use a LOT of common sense to decide what the best treatment is and they are always concerned enough to follow up in a day or two to make sure treatment has been effective. I have had two of my three dogs come here one for palliative care of a terminal illness and the other for acute onset, very high fever and lethargy as well as routine care and both patients received excellent care without going overboard. I felt they received all that was necessary but ONLY what was necessary. That is a refreshing thing in the veterinary world, especially for me because I'm a pet owner who has definite ideas about what I do and do not want for my pets, some of which may actually fly in the face of conventional veterinary wisdom.

I called at the end of the day because my schnauzer had a hurt foot, I was called by the veterinarian herself DR Meadows and she made room for me, I have 9 Schnauzers and I couldnt afford shots for all of them, Falcon Hospital made it affordable for me . I have been to 2 Vets In Falcon, believe me you are not just a number at Falcon Hospital, The staff is very friendly, the Vets are beyond experienced and above all they care about there customers, Free Coffee and a great Team.. I love these guys because its almost like a Mom and Pop operation you see on TV. the other guys in Falcon treat you like a number versus Falcon Hospital treats you like Family .

Do NOT go here, they killed my boyfriends cat because of their ignorance. Don't let the hospital in their name fool you! They killed my my boyfriends cat cause they couldn't care for him properly in an emergency plus waited too long to react to the situation. After they put the cat down. They stated they couldn't do anything else to help him. We called around to other vets that could so my boyfriends cat lost his life for no reason and all cause they didn't know what they were doing!

This clinic had no interest in helping this poor, helpless creature that was in obvious distress. I thus have no respect for this place or its so called "vets". So much for honoring the Veterinarian's Oath of solemnly swearing to use their scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering....
They must have just been moving their lips when they were taking their oath. Shameful, to say the least.

I had a very bad experience with this place, mind you this was many years ago, but I believe this still applies. My dog was attacked by some dogs who were loose. We rushed him over there, but it was close to their closing time. They examined him and said he just needed to stay overnight. I wake up the next morning to hear that my dog had passed away. I was devastated. I went to pick up his body and they gave me him in a garbage bag... I opened it later and found they had never treated his wounds, nor does it seem he was even taken care of.
The most despicable thing is, they send me a letter of condolence, with a bill charged for $75 dollars.
If I was able to post a review with ZERO stars I would, but that's not how this rating system works.

We really appreciate our Animal Hospital of Falcon and their employees. We live quite far from them too! But it's worth the drive.

The facility is very clean and smells great! Most days I am able to get in THAT DAY for an appt. ^^^^To the hater who was complaining about their hours/days open....^^^^ **Most practicing vets are NOT open on weekends, same for primary care doctors (MD's) offices** If there is an emergent need, you need to take your pet to the PET ER, just as you would do for your human family members (to a hospital ER).

Drs Baker and Jackson at Falcon Animal Hospital have been the best Vets I have ever had for my dogs. I have 4 dogs; 2 labs, a Great Dane and a Newfoundland. We have used Falcon Animal Hospital since we moved to the area about 5 years ago. Both doctors and their staff have always been professional and caring. I have never had a problem getting an appointment. They are always very accomodating, getting us same-day appointments for health problems or vaccinations. The are also very speedy with medication refills. Always same day refills when I call in the morning. I have nothing bad to say about Falcon Animal hospital or their staff. They have always been excellent and I always refer them to anyone who asks.

The location of Animal Hospital of Falcon is well suited to service those in the rapidly expanding town of Falcon/Peyton, and to our many clients located throughout the rest of El Paso County in Colorado. The hospital staff are trained to provide the best care for each and every pet and owner.
Dr. Anita Baker, DVM and Staff, combine for over forty years experience in veterinary medicine. Their partnership to create Animal Hospital of Falcon was visionary in that Eastern El Paso County was in need of a quality animal hospital. Both Anita and the staff are committed to the community and to the service that Animal Hospital of Falcon can provide in a clean and friendly environment. Recent staff expansions have brought two additional veterinarians on board, each with their own area of expertise which enhance the multitude of services provided by the clinic. We now have three veterinarians on our team, Dr. Anita Baker, Dr. Amy Kranz, and Dr. Ayomi Meadows.
We work by appointments and a quick telephone call will not only let you know if the clinic can treat your pet, but will allow you to schedule an appointment at your convenience. Late hours Monday through Thursday allow our hard working clients to schedule appointments later in the day while still offering a full line of veterinary services.

And 3 days later, my cat dies. I called to get some answers, and was told that Dr Baker would call me back. She never did. Every time I try calling Animal hospital of Falcon. They never pick up. I went in person, to let them know about losing our family pet. They had no compassion. They were so concerned about making money. Do not go to this place. Horrible experience. 😢

There are other vets closer, but i choose to drive the 30 minutes from home to have my beloved animals treated here. Dr's and techs and office staff are very friendly, very supportive, have taken good care of my pets, and understand my financial constraints when choosing options for care. They answer all my questions, and provide good resources and information. They are reasonably flexible, and do their best to accommodate emergencies and schedule appointments. I recommend them highly, and have no plans to change to a closer vet.

They took two weeks to diagnose my dog with pancreatitis. They had me believing It was initially cancer and we even had a surgery scheduled when they discovered It wasn’t. After that it still took several days while my dog was severely ill. I had to been seen at a different vet because they were closed. That vet requested I send my dogs medical records over in the event this happens again so they know her. So I did! Each time I called falcon animal hospital they harressed me about why I faxed her records to another vet clinic! My last straw was when they messed up my dogs seizure medication saying it’s not their fault since they weren’t the original vet who wrote the prescription! They’ve been writing It for a year so I don’t get how this was even a thing. This prescription keeps my dog alive. I’m done going here. The staff seems caring enough but I’m just over the issues.

She is without a doubt one of the most compassionate and caring people I've had the pleasure of working with. Recently we have seen Dr. Meadows for our newest edition, Max our rescue. He is apprehensive at best when dealing with anyone outside our family. Her kind and gentle approach has made him feel so at ease he actually was happy to see her on his second visit! I have been taking my dogs and cats to this clinic for 18+ years. I have found them to be very caring and knowledgeable.But within the last year there has been a turn over of Doctors and some staff. My personal opinion is that was all for the best. My primary doctor is Dr. Amy Krantz. I love her...She found cancer tumors that the old doctors said it was just a benign syst. Also I find everyone to be very friendly and helpful. They have extended their hours and are now open on Saturdays. I think you all are doing everything right for the customer and patients. I am happy to give them and 5 rating.

These people are amazing. They have seen my family pets for the last 15 years, and regardless of where I live in Colorado, they will be the only vets I take my animals to. Dr. Baker is a truly wonderful person who really cares about animals and is visually passionate about her job. She brought my dog back from the brink of death, nursed her back to health, and saved the dog/me from a very painful and expensive amputation. She saved my cat from being blinded by a corneal rupture. The pricing is quite affordable, and with a pharmacy on site it makes it convenient as well. They have also offer cremation services on site, and have cremated my babies as well when they passed. I would recommend this practice to anyone, and I do recommend them to everyone I know in the need of emergency, and normal veterinary care.

They have been pleasant. But, they leave me feeling like all they care about is money. I just adopted two puppies. They had the shots, just needed boosters. I was charged $70 per animal for an exam. They are healthy, didn't need it. It took 5-8 minutes. Plus, the fees for the vaccinations. I get this is the first time I brought them in, but really? Maybe a reduced rate since I just paid $300 per dog...which included spay/neuter/checkup/shots? They didn't even tell me when I made the appointment that I would be paying so much.

Love Falcon Animal Hospital. The prices are very reasonable and the hospital has the equipment available to perform any tests right there and then. I'm not a big fan of waiting for lab work to come back at a later time as I'm impatient and want my answers immediately. I love the fact that the doctors here use a LOT of common sense to decide what the best treatment is and they are always concerned enough to follow up in a day or two to make sure treatment has been effective. I have had two of my three dogs come here one for palliative care of a terminal illness and the other for acute onset, very high fever and lethargy as well as routine care and both patients received excellent care without going overboard. I felt they received all that was necessary but ONLY what was necessary. That is a refreshing thing in the veterinary world, especially for me because I'm a pet owner who has definite ideas about what I do and do not want for my pets, some of which may actually fly in the face of conventional veterinary wisdom.

I called at the end of the day because my schnauzer had a hurt foot, I was called by the veterinarian herself DR Meadows and she made room for me, I have 9 Schnauzers and I couldnt afford shots for all of them, Falcon Hospital made it affordable for me . I have been to 2 Vets In Falcon, believe me you are not just a number at Falcon Hospital, The staff is very friendly, the Vets are beyond experienced and above all they care about there customers, Free Coffee and a great Team.. I love these guys because its almost like a Mom and Pop operation you see on TV. the other guys in Falcon treat you like a number versus Falcon Hospital treats you like Family .

This clinic had no interest in helping this poor, helpless creature that was in obvious distress. I thus have no respect for this place or its so called "vets". So much for honoring the Veterinarian's Oath of solemnly swearing to use their scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health and welfare, the prevention and relief of animal suffering....
They must have just been moving their lips when they were taking their oath. Shameful, to say the least.

I had a very bad experience with this place, mind you this was many years ago, but I believe this still applies. My dog was attacked by some dogs who were loose. We rushed him over there, but it was close to their closing time. They examined him and said he just needed to stay overnight. I wake up the next morning to hear that my dog had passed away. I was devastated. I went to pick up his body and they gave me him in a garbage bag... I opened it later and found they had never treated his wounds, nor does it seem he was even taken care of.
The most despicable thing is, they send me a letter of condolence, with a bill charged for $75 dollars.
If I was able to post a review with ZERO stars I would, but that's not how this rating system works.

The facility is very clean and smells great! Most days I am able to get in THAT DAY for an appt. ^^^^To the hater who was complaining about their hours/days open....^^^^ **Most practicing vets are NOT open on weekends, same for primary care doctors (MD's) offices** If there is an emergent need, you need to take your pet to the PET ER, just as you would do for your human family members (to a hospital ER).

Drs Baker and Jackson at Falcon Animal Hospital have been the best Vets I have ever had for my dogs. I have 4 dogs; 2 labs, a Great Dane and a Newfoundland. We have used Falcon Animal Hospital since we moved to the area about 5 years ago. Both doctors and their staff have always been professional and caring. I have never had a problem getting an appointment. They are always very accomodating, getting us same-day appointments for health problems or vaccinations. The are also very speedy with medication refills. Always same day refills when I call in the morning. I have nothing bad to say about Falcon Animal hospital or their staff. They have always been excellent and I always refer them to anyone who asks.
