I love them! They were so very compassionate with my older cat that had to be put down 8 months ago, they were about as sad as I was. Clearly they love animals. They are reasonable with their rates and I love them all. They have been really good with my two outdoor cats and my two indoor cats. This is the best vet clinic in northern Colorado, I would know, I worked in the industry. Dr Kollars and Dr Goble are both very knowledgeable. They're both honest and upfront and don't try to sell you on something you and your pet don't need. If your pet needs care that they can't provide, they will not hesitate to refer you to a specialist. Their prices are also very fair. I work very crazy hours, but they work with me and allow me to drop my critters off while I work. I know my fur babies are in great hands while I'm not there. Dr Kollars met me after hours when my dog had her first seizure. Dr Goble has allowed my sick cat to sit on her lap while she tried to hand feed her because that made my cat feel more comfortable. The Doctor and people working here are definitely not in it for the money. They adamantly care about your animals like family and treat them with compassion, and respect. The Doctor tries to save your income and give you the best alternatives on meds and shots and care that works for you! The most appealing part about this vet was that he had after hour access to him for advice. But other than that, he denied that my 4 month old puppy could possibly have worms because in Colorado it doesn't really happen. If it does it's in the intestines. Even after I said that we just adopted him and that he wasn't feeling well and even brought in a fresh fecal sample, the clinic was still weird about getting it tested that visit. After I pushed and made clear that my pup was picked up in Arkansas (under conditions that he deemed viable for a dog to get any type of worms), he said it will probably still come back negative. Sure enough, after enough pushing, they tested him, and it came back positive for roundworms. Luckily he is treated, but seeing as he had seen him for a first time visit the week before and didn't think to do a fecal test is not acceptable. ESPECIALLY knowing that he had loose stool and wasn't feeling well. He did give him a dewormer before we left (of course - so thank you to that). On top of that, he had told the person who brought him in the week before that we would hold off on his final vaccinations until he was feeling well, which after consulting other vets, they both said that it was not a reason to not give final vaccinations to a puppy. If you do go here, do research on what kinds of tests should be done, and make sure you push for what is best for your animal. I would not rely on this vet for any help in the future. Read Less

I have been coming to this clinic for four years (since my husband and I moved to Fort Collins and got our first puppy). It never really crossed my mind to write a review, and I am not sure why, because I refer this place to EVERYONE! (And, everyone I've referred LOVES it.) Dr. Kollars and Dr. Goble are both fantastic. They've cared for my English Springer Spaniel (Baylee) her entire life and she loves them. There are a variety of things I could say, but in a nutshell, they are professional, knowledgable, soft-spoken and gentle, and I feel they genuinely care for my dog's welfare as much as I do. I always trust that I can ask them anything and I will get an honest answer; never nonsensical treatments or medications that aren't necessary. I feel sometimes as if I am their only client based on how available they make themselves when Baylee needs something. Thanks for taking such good care of my furbaby. I love the whole staff at Campus West Vets! Dr. Goble was by far the most patient and thorough veterinarian I've ever taken my animals too. I have an older rescue dog who has severe anxiety but Dr. Goble's tender and caring bedside manner always puts her mind at ease. The vet tech doubles as the receptionist making her superwoman in my book. She is extremely good with the animals and a delight to do business with! I have to assume the reviewer who complained about high prices is either new to pet ownership or is unfamiliar with outrageous price tag on a good education. Campus West Vets is an absolutely amazing veterinary office! Dr. Kollars and his staff provided the best care for our dog, Mojo, for 7 years. Dr. Kollars was always very open and honest about what Mojo needed and did not try to push any unnecessary services. When we would bring Mojo to Dr. Kollars, he would always make sure Mojo was comfortable and give him lots of treats and affection. We recently lost Mojo a few months ago, and my husband and I could not have asked for a better vet to be by our side. He took the time to come to our house and support and help us as we had to let our beloved dog go to heaven. Dr. Kollars could not have been more professional and caring during this most trying time for my husband and I. This place is great. Unlike other vet offices I've been to (who seem to be paid off by various food & drug companies to push products on you), Campus West seems genuine & honest. My roommate recommended this vet office when my dog was having some stomach issues. When I called them to talk to them about the problem, they recommended changing her diet and trying a few stress relieving options before I came into the office. It was really nice to be able to call and talk to the staff before I went in to spend a lot of money on tests and medications.When my dog got an eye infection several months later, I did have to take her in and it was nice to be able to meet these helpful people in person. Dr. Kollars was very calm and patient with my dog who was really not keen on having her eye looked at. He quickly diagnosed the issue, gave us some eye medication and didn't charge for the follow up a few days later.
