Lemay Vet Clinic

Fort Collins, Colorado
General Info
Lemay Vet Clinic provides low-stress, high-quality, compassionate care for your furry (and not-so-furry) family members in our mid-town Fort Collins clinic or your Northern Colorado home. For your convenience, appointments are available 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and housecalls by appointment.
We are pleased to offer both conventional medicine, surgery and high-quality dental treatments with alternatives such as laser treatment, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle counseling. We also offer allergy testing, affordable pet wheelchairs, affordable wellness testing, microchipping, heartworm tests and vaccinations.
Our philosophy is that caring for your pets is a partnership between doctor and pet caregiver, and it is our duty to provide education and options so that you can make the best decisions for you and your pets. We believe that each individual pet should have their veterinary care tailored to their needs and the caregiver’s wants, and not dictated by custom. You as pet caregiver play an important role in deciding the care your pets receive, and we are here to support you.
Please feel free to call or stop in at 2601 S. Lemay Ave #3, in the Scotch Pines Village Shopping Center (north of Sprouts, next to Great Harvest) for more details or an appointment. We look forward to meeting you and your pets!

We've been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. Ally for years. She's extremely knowledgeable and always treats our pets like her own. Would highly recommend.

After trying multiple vets over the course of 9 years in the Fort Collins/Loveland area (and rarely going to the same one more than once), we gave Lemay Vet Clinic a shot and instantly liked Dr. Alli. She is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. When our 9-year-old dog passed away due to cancer, Dr. Alli mourned with us and helped make the process as comfortable as possible for our sweet dog. We highly recommend Lemay Vet Clinic! Read Less

This establishment is now called Lemay Vet Clinic and I hope Yelp will eventually fix this. Any way I only have great things to say about this business and the people who work here. Dr. Allyson is fantastic with both our dog and cat.We first brought our dog for a check up right after we adopted her. I was really impressed how Dr. Allyson spent a lot of time with us. I think we were there for 45 minutes chatting about every subject from kennel training to territory marking to feeding and health issues. I felt like I got the full story and absolutely appreciated that. We brought our dog back for a check up 6 months later and she still spent a great amount of time discussing things which I really enjoyed. She absolutely cares about her clientele. Every time we are there she is holding and petting the animals and really trying to get to know them. I have also brought my cat to Dr. Little. Dr. Little first saw my cat as she was going through acute kidney failure. She swiftly diagnosed her, all with extreme love and care, and recommended us to a hospital where my cat was further treated. Dr. Allyson has been following up with my cat the past few weeks and has done just as great of job. The vet tech, Michelle, is fantastic. She is professional and I like that she remembers and recognizes the clients that come in and is also familiar with my animals likes and dislikes, especially with blood draws. Overall, this place is amazing. The people who work here are efficient, consistent, VERY caring, and just generally enjoyable to be around. I hope I can take my pets here forever! I was going to the (then Roving Vet, now Lemay Vet) before Dr Elain retired. Our family ADORED Dr Elain. We figured she sold her practise to somebody like-minded to her. Our first impressions of Dr Allyson were good-- Dr Elain hadn't fully transitioned out but we wanted to meet the new vet. One of our kittens was getting into something and her chin was a mess. The kitten got a very thorough look-over. Turns out the kitten was just rubbing her chin in potted plant dirt. Dr Allyson was able to tell the difference between clogged pore gook (what we fondly call 'catne') and rubbed-in-to-fur gook.Fast forward several months. Dr Elain is fully retired and we have an older kitty with possible renal failiure. Luckily the practise has an in-house blood testing machine. We were told that it would take 10-15 mins to process. Fast forward 90 mins. We hadn't been acknowledged once after they brought my kitty back from the blood draw. A tooth removal was suggested. We went to the front desk while we were waiting and scheduled it on our own. We go back to the room. Still waiting and no acknowledgement. The 10-15 min timeframe for the bloodwork had come and gone and we were falling asleep despite the angry cat waiting on the table. We ended up just walking out and leaving when we saw Dr Allyson treating a dog in another room. However, the receptionist's dog is a delighful little being. Give him a pat on the head if you're ever in. Best part of our visit. Read Less
