They left is sitting in the room for about an hour with 0 communication other than a sign on the door saying something like "if you've been in here 20 minutes and no one has spoken to you come out to the lobby because we probably just forgot about you." Yea that might be a bit paraphrased but it's a huge red flag. I first brought my guinea pigs here. One of them had a weird spot on his eye. The vet was a very nice lady who clearly loved guinea pigs. She helped clip his nails and even loved on his brother who came for the ride because they're quite attached. We brought our black lab that we adopted here. I was a walk in to Table Mountain Vet Clinic, I went in on Saturday August 12 and revived a quote of $181.93 to have my dog put down, I receive the ashes back and get a clay paw print. I thought that was very reasonable, then when I called back it Tuesday the 15th. To schedule the appointment, they wanted to charge me over $100.00 more for the procedure. I feel that if a place of business is going to give a quote that, regardless if there's a mistake that they should honor the quote!! It's too bad that I have to write comments like this, but I'm happy to do so!! The best veterinary clinic I have ever been to in the three states I've lived in.  Thanks to their advice, my 12 year old rescue pup is in great shape.  His blood work came back even better than last year.  My dog has had behavioral issues due to extreme abuse when he was a puppy and the staff and doctors work so well with him.  I had an emergency with him a while ago and they got him right in and eased my fears.Prices are so reasonable which leads me to believe this clinic is more about the pet than about profit. WORST Ver clinic I have ever went to!!! The doc lied about what she did to my dog and wasn't going to tell me what happened in the back if I didn't see the blood that was on her foot from poking her with a needle TWICE after tell her I would prefer that not happen!! Then proceeded to tell me that I needed to train my dog to be restrained (she is 4 months!!) When I called the manager about my services she was unapologetic and yelled at me calling me a liar. Then Told me I would have to wait a week before she even talked to the doc since she wasn't back in until then when I told her to wait a week to resolve the problem that was done to me and my dog was ridiculous she then yelled at me again and said "your dog is not dead so it's fine!" When I told her I wanted a refund she yelled again saying that I will not be getting my money back since it does nothing for her and I will not be a client there again. This place is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL I have NEVER been treated like i or my dog do not matter from a vet before! I never attacked this lady all I wanted was to State my issues about what happened and get it resolved but they were not willing to do that for me at all!!!   I would think twice about their practices before ever going to this vet clinic!!! This is a wonderful vet however, I rate it 4 stars because almost every time I call I have been placed on hold for about 10 minutes. I understand they are probably busy helping other customers, but 10 minutes to be placed on hold numerous times kind of gets old. Maybe they need more staff working up front? I've been coming here for a few years since I adopted my dog, and I spent well over $1500 at this clinic. In the past 6 months or so, I have had a hunch that I was being ripped off. My dog started having pretty serious bladder issues and Dr. Brewster chose to give her super expensive supplements ($100+ a month), because it was "saving me money." I finally stood up for myself and discontinued the supplements and put my dog on a prescription diet, saving me $30+ a month. Keep in mind, it's not about the money. I'd do anything for my dog. However I am a college student earning little to no income during the school year. This was only the beginning. My dog developed a large lump on her shoulder out of the blue, so I took her into see Dr. Brewster. She poked the lump with a needle and immediately insisted that it was a "Blood blister" and to put a heat pack on it until it goes away. Flash forward 1 month, I took my dog to another vet because something didn't sit right with me. It turns out this lump was an extremely infected cyst, and there isn't really even such thing as a "blood blister", she just probably hit the wrong spot of the lump and never looked at the blood under the microscope to determine that the mass was insanely infected. I was livid that my dog had been in pain this long with such a severe mass that could've been treated long ago, had we gotten the correct veterinary care. Since then, she has had surgery to remove the mass, and it has been quite the roller coaster. Had I listened to my gut and gone somewhere else off the bat, my dog would have received the care she deserves, and I wouldn't have wasted 1000s of dollars that could've gone toward my education or my dog. If you don't feel right about what your vet is doing, I recommend getting a second opinion. Don't waste your time here.Read Less

About a month ago our 8-month old mini Schnauzer mix was very sick. Nonstop throwing up and diarrhea starting in Saturday evening. Come Monday morning, it was time for help. I called a ver clinic a little closer to our home, who will remain unnamed and she said she might be able to get us in at 3 pm that day. When I called Table Mountain they asked how close I was and how soon I could be there. They would get pur puppy in right away. From there moving forward it was a great experience. They kept our little guy overnight and he bounced back amazingly well. Post getting over his virus, they gave us great dietary advice and the vet called us directly to check in on our pup. 5 star place. We absolutely love this clinic and our dog does too! We recently adopted a 10 year old golden lab and unfortunately he's been into the clinic about 5 times in the last 7 months... On three of the more emergent occasions, the clinic has allowed us to bring him in right away and Dr. Brewster has gone above and beyond for our old dog, including following up with us after our visits to see how he's doing. We live in South Denver and have several other clinics in our neighborhood but the drive to Golden is easy and definitely worth it to get the best care for our senior dog :-)Read Less

The doctors are sincere and cost conscious. They do not turn an animal away without determining alternative treatment if an obvious treatment may be too expensive. The Clinic also tries to work with you if there are no other choices, but a costly procedure or treatment. I have been to other veterinarians and they just shrug their shoulders when treatment is not affordable which reflects money as motivation, rather than helping an animal in need. Read Less

If I could give them zero stars I would! This place is horrible! All the workers are running around with their heads cut off! It's always business and they never know what's going on. I have taken my dog there several time and each time I leave wondering why I go back! Won't be back.....horrible follow up.! It's as if the front office staff could care less.I took my dog to get neutered few weeks ago.  The office staff were horrible and very uncaring.Had to keep calling to ask about the status of my dog.  And EACH time I was told.....we'll call you back.....but they never did.Finally had to call near the end of the day and the front desk person had the nerve to say "you need to come pick up your dog bc we're about to close for the day".Again.....had been calling all day long with never a call back.When we picked him up.....there was another client there picking up her cat that had the same experience.The vet NEVER called us back and the front office NEVER called us to give us an update.Won't be going back there again. This veterinary practice is excellent - the staff are professional, caring and superb in their work. They recently saved our Maine Coon cat, Molly, who had an intestinal blockage. I had an emergency with my boxer who was pregnant and wasn't passing the puppies I called at least 10 other vets none of which would take my dog in without a large sum of money up front. When I called Table Mountain and explain the situation they were very understanding and told me to bring her right in.They performed an emergency c-section and delivered my boxers babies they also called and explained everything that was happening I did have my boxer fixed at that time as well. The next day mom and puppies came home and Table Mountain has called and checked on me since they are wonderful caring amazing people.
