I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, ended up waiting 45 minutes before my cat was seen. Clients who showed up after me were taken back first although I was told "10-15 minutes". Receptionist who did our check out seemed clueless about her job and pet prescriptions. My kitty was seen by Dr. Stohrer. I was thoroughly unimpressed with her comments and treatment towards not only my cat by myself. After asking a question about how late shots may affect behavior she laughed at me and said "you think it's a behavioral shot?" No, I wondered how it being late may affect her, cause you know, I'm not a vet! She was rather rude when answering questions and completely inappropriate grabbing my upset cat inhumanly rather than giving her a second to calm down. It was a Monday, I understand things can get backed up sometimes but the rush through the appointment, insensitive care and lack of attention to wait times has made up my mind. We have been taking our older dogs to Belair Animal Hospital since 2013 and have continued since moving to Fort Collins. What I like best about Belair is that they respect your decisions to have as much or as little care as you feel comfortable with, but are always honest and caring in their medical advice. My Paisley was seen on an emergency basis. Staff was obviously concerned about her situation and made it happen. Didn't see our usual vet but she heard Paisley was in and stopped in to check on her and let my husband know she was in good hands. Supper staff!!! Read Less

Lovely staff. They are very supportive and they work with animals doing everything they can. They have been the only vet I have trusted for more than 20 years. We found them when we moved to Greeley. We have a couple of times had to use another vet and the experience was not like it is at Belair. They are professional and very knowledgeable. Read Less

I have seen both Dr Bo and Dr Muggli for 3 of my 4 dogs, none of which do well with shots. They were both very understanding of my dog's anxieties, and let me help hold them during the process. 2 of my dogs are very nervous around new people and they did the right thing by being very quick and efficient, and just getting it done! They even gave treats afterwards which helped a ton! I plan on continuing to take my dogs here. Read Less

The vet we saw did not really know what was wrong with our dog and wanted to give medication but wanted to do blood work first. That is fine but if you don't know what is wrong why would you medicate him? As soon as I declined medication and blood work she completely lost interest and never really had any compassion for him. She was clearly only in it for the money and doesn't care about the well being of animals. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to come here. NO animal deserves to be treated by her. They are only getting one star because zero stars is not an option! This was the the WORST experience I've EVER had! The vet never introduced herself when she came into the room, so who really knows if she was even a vet? Every question I asked her (when she wasn't cutting me off) was followed by "I don't know"! Dr. Bo cropped my Doberman's ears and they turned out fantastic. He had them done at 8 weeks and he is now 6 months and I still love the way they look. We wrapped them for about 4 weeks (which is not long! My other one has to be wrapped for close to 6 months!) and they stood quickly. Dr. Bo also corrected a botched tail docking and he did it out of the goodness of his heart! The only thing I was disappointed about was that the other doctor made me feel guilty for cropping and one of the front desk girls openly talked about how she very strongly disagreed with it in front of me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but they shouldn't make their customers feel guilty or try to make them feel bad when THEIR doctor is doing the work! All in all, I would absolutely go back to Dr. Bo if I lived closer. Read Less

I was told my cat was getting one shot and an exam. I did have to buy meds for his ears and I'm fine with that. But he was given 2 shots, the 2nd was just done, no one asked if it was ok we did it today! I came in being told one price and it was double!! You need to be sure of what the pt wants!! And when I let the staff know that this is not what I was told, they didn't apologize for the miscommunication, or for the fact they did something I was waiting to do. A few years ago our cat got critically ill on a weekend so we took him to the pet emergency center. After several days and thousands of dollars later, our cat was well but needed a surgery so he would not have the same situation happen again. They were going to charge us around $2500 for the surgery. We called around and Belair did the same surgery for $300 or so! We now take all of our pets there because the whole staff is very caring and obviously loves animals.The organization is very professionally run, and they take care of our pets at prices people can afford!Read Less

I brought my min pin in as an emergency. He was hypothermic and very ill. As soon as I ran in with him they dropped everything and took care of him. Dr. Rouch was very kind and cared about my dog. The staff was wonderful and took care of him like he was their own dog. It took several days to get him through this but they never gave up on him. Dr. Rouch called me several times a day to keep me updated. He is alive today because of them. Read Less
