Dr. Hubert is a good vet. Two cats had been previously examined. Set an appointment for deworming for those two, plus two more to be examined and also then dewormed, after I was unable to give the full dose of the medicine prescribed. Simply a re-do. That's all. Some fluids, too, if possible but not vital. Just give the pills, that I could not. Nothing adventurous. When I arrived, Westridge said the appointment was simply to pill the two that had been previously examined; but, that there was no appointment with a vet to examine and deworm the other two. If I was willing to wait, the vet (not Dr. Hubert) might be able to squeeze those two in. After 45 minutes, being self-employed and incurring a fine at the mall for not opening on time, I had to leave. Risking another fine, to shut down to then go pick up the cats almost two hours later, I got to Westridge to find none of the cats had been dewormed, or even examined. Instead of apologizing, and without knowledge or familiarity with either me or the pets, a staff person argued that none of the cats were allowed deworming medicine as none had ever been examined. WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT IS GOING ON, she insisted Dr. Hubert has not seen the two previously examined cats in two weeks (which means they have been examined.) Only after heated argument, would she THEN go read the report and notes, to THEN realize she was wrong and the two cats were to be dewormed, and the others would have to get an examination later. Again, instead of apologizing, she said that payment would be required first. I said it had been arranged. Again, instead of apologizing she then took the cats back, without me, so for all I know neither received their pills, then walked me out telling ME TO TAKE MY CATS ELSEWHERE!!!Update: Although, had a negative experience with one of the two or three times I have seen a vet at Westridge in person or over the phone, and asked for their advice, and never with a tec, but the one above mentioned, and they do seem to be improving after seeing Dr. Hubert, it, apparently, was the owner, Dr. Combs who said to take my cats elsewhere. I have never met the owner, Dr. Combs, and he has never seen my cats. He also said he offered to examine the cats then and there this morning, and that is not true. His response to the mistakes of his staff is to blame the client. It's the client's fault. That it was a negative relationship. There was no relationship, no unpleasantness. It was deworming and fluids. They screwed up this morning, and after hours then said they wouldn't give my cats the medicine they had an appointment to get. All these complaints are of administration, but the responsibility lies with the employer. Whereas Dr. Combs blames the client. Sadly, if this is the attitude then it doesn't matter how good the vets are. Read Less
