We were new to Denver and tried this vet. The staff was snippy and rude. Both of my dogs had reactions to their rabies vaccination after never having a reaction for fourteen years. I called them to say my dog was having a reaction and throwing up with a swollen face and the doctor told me he was probably just nervous from the office visit. I ended up trying to take him in but the doctor was "out".  So, for a second time I rushed him to emergency and got to pay $200. When I called the next day to complain, the vet assistant screamed at me on the phone and they mailed all of my pets papers to my house!! They got rid of me after I spent a ton of money there over two years!! They did this after I said I was going to check with another vet. They didn't want blow back. The doctor also misdiagnosed my dog's liver disease. He would be a lot better off today if she had gotten it right. Terrible. Read Less

This vet is amazing! I had just moved to Denver and my kitty got underfoot while we were unpacking and I stepped on him. I had seen this hospital while out and about, so I rushed Jupiter right over. Dr. Denton was able to see me quickly. She are her staff are so nice! They took an xray and showed me where I broke Jupiter's foot bone. He finally got his splint off yesterday and is good as new! Long story short...Sick dog to VRCC...Found a softball sized cyst on the prostate and drained it and was told $5k for open belly surgery and a neuter on my 10year old dog after they thought it was an enlarged bladder...following day dog was running a fever, breathing labored and drooling so I took him to Cherry Hill and they said they could give him a pain management shot and an antibiotic to see if he would make it thru the night as a 2nd option with him going to a vet for surgery in the morning...1st recommendation was across town to Parker to an emergency vet for a $3-$4k surgery or that I needed to consider putting him down in the next few days...I took him to Cherrelyn Animal Hospital the next day after electing the shots...I think the shots definitely helped get a jump on things since he wasnt responding well to VRCC meds...Cherrelyn said it was most likely a GI upset that knocked him down, euthanasia and cuttin my 10year old dog into pieces was extreme and that I needed a vet that would fight for my dog...Recommendation was a neuter to help stop prostate and cyst issues...Chest xrays cleared the dog for any masses, neuter was done, prostate was down and cutting the dog open to take a look at the cyst was considered not necessary at this time...Post Neuter my dog is the brightest hes been all week...The baytril/pain shot from CHAH def helped but the euthanasia option that was presented 2 times is enough that I will never ever recommend a vet that wont fight for my dog...I wish I would have went to them first I could have saved $1000 and I wish I would have neutered Onyx 10 years ago...One of the most nerve wrecking weeks of my life was calmed by the vet 2 blocks away...Thanks Courtney, Lisa, Dr Gundy and Jerry from Cherrelyn Animal Hospital Read Less

It's never a good sign when your kitty throws up every day for an entire week straight.Was it her new food? Does she have an allergy I don't know about? Does she just have a tummy bug that's going around? Word to the wise: don't Google the symptoms unless you want to prepare yourself for the worst! Ben did some light research on vets in our area, and came across Cherry Hills Animal Hospital, and I'm so glad he did! Here's why:1. The location is tucked into the back of a strip mall, right by Trader Joes and the Pancake House. Hard to spot at first, but has a decent sized space.2. The staff is insane crazy nice. I was running a few minutes late to our appointment, and got there about 5 minutes late, only to be greeted by big welcoming smiles. I filled out some paper work, and the tech asked me a series of questions and tried to make our girl comfortable. Not long after, the vet came in. She was so friendly and quiet knowledgeable. She suggested a few shots, blood work and going back to her old food.3. They offer a "shot program" that carries a lifetime membership. $80 one time fee, per pet, covers all of their vaccines for their entire life. GREAT DEAL!4. Pricing is very reasonable for all that is offered. we paid a little over $200 for everything and came home happy.We will continue to bring our girls here! I've been going to Dr. Denton for a couple years now to treat our two schnauzers. She's incredibly professional, insightful, and caring. Her respect for animals and their owners is always present, as is her desire to successfully treat any issues that arise. Her staff is just as knowledgeable and friendly, always welcoming and making us and our pets feel at ease. Her clinic also features some pretty state-of-the-art equipment. When one of my dogs hurt her back, Dr. Denton provided a thorough examination, as well as a laser treatment, which aided in a very speedy recovery. I cannot recommend Dr. Denton and her staff highly enough for the ongoing care and treatment of mine or anyone's pets. Read Less

I brought my dog max in to Cherry Hills when he was sick. It turned out he had tumors on his liver. Dr Denton was very thorough with his diagnoses and treatment. I could not have asked for a better Veterinarian. Dr Denton and the staff were very compassionate and caring. I would defiantly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Read Less

Horrible vet.  I took my dog here years ago and he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and I was told there was nothing that could be done for him and that he had at best 3 months to live.  I took him to VRCC for a second opinion.  To make a long story short VRCC treated him and he lived another 7 years.  If I would have listened to these quacks I would have lost my dog. Dr. Denton and team are always helpful, efficient, and understanding.  They go out of their way to understand each person's situation and help care for your pets the best way possible. Dr. Denton was wonderful to our Siberian husky, Sierra. On the day we lost Sierra, Dr. Denton called me to express her sympathy. She was always so kind and caring; that is why we now take our new girl to her. As long as we live within driving distance, we will always have Dr. Denton care for our pets. Was looking for a classic barber shop experience, and found Roosters Greenwood Village on my drive home from work. The staff greeted me very professionally and treated me like I was their favorite customer ever! I was offered a drink once I sat down and then the relaxation process started. My stylist asked only a few questions about my hair and she figured out the rest on her own - no silly questiona about square or rounded in the back. LOVED IT!! The whole experience was fantastic, from the comfortable leather chair, to the hot steam towel which seems to melt any troubles away instantly, to the fact that I had absolutely no hair down my shirt or left in my ears - it was fantastic. I'm looking forward to my next visit - I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best barber shop experience in a upscale relaxing environment. Read Less

I am new to the area and had an extremely ill cat. The first facility I took her to said she had idiopathic (unknown) anemia and treated her with general meds. she got better but fell ill again in about a month and almost lost her. Dr. D'Arcy came in high recommendations and I brought her to him as a last resort. Within minutes he diagnosed her with Hemobartonella and is well on her way to recovery.
