Great Vet clinic. My dog wasn't going number one or two and I was very concerned. I called on a Monday morning and they fit me in 2hrs later. My Dog had surgery and they cleaned his ears, clipped his nails and cleaned his teeth at no additional charge. Very cool. My first experience started good and more interactions I had with them, the more the experience declined. I had to take my cat in for an issue that ended up to be a mass in his bile duct and resulted in me having to put him to sleep. During that process the communication was lacking. He needed an ultrasound but they don’t have one on staff so they were calling in a mobile radiologist. Trying to schedule that turned into a mess and they even scheduled a slot with the radiologist without even asking if I could go at that time and I just ended up making it work regardless. In the process of shaving his stomach, they nicked two of his nipples and didn't bother to tell me. When I called to ask about it, they said they tried to shave him before they put him under and then said it happened all the time and they didn't think to mention it to me. A week later, I picked up an extremely misshapen paw print that looked nothing like an actual paw and received no ink print. When asking the vet if this was normal they acted appalled and advised that was not the normal standard and would call the vendor. After a call to the vendor, they then advised the vendor still had my cat due to a 7 day holding requirement and would make a new print. I was disturbed at knowing they still had him a week later and expressed this to the vet. I advised this seemed morbid to me to have them take a print after a week of him being deceased and it kind of tainted the paw print memorial for me. The assistant vet tech, Keary, expressed her understanding of my feelings and suggested she call the vendor and ask them to refund their part of the services to me, which the vendor agreed to. A week later I called to follow up since no refund had hit my card yet. I received a call back from the head vet tech, Kaylee, who advised they would send me the receipt that it was performed but would also be sending me my vet records and they would not be providing any future vet services to me. When I asked why she advised they didn’t like my attitude with them and I was even rude to the doctor himself so they were choosing to end the relationship. She advised they had made every effort to right an error that was made by their vendor and not them and just couldn’t make me happy. I asked to talk to the doctor to find out when I was rude and was advised it didn’t matter because they had already made the decision to end the relationship. I advised I felt I had a right to speak to him since he is the owner of the clinic as well and apparently had made this decision. She again refused and I finally asked to have him call me back. She said she would tell him and ended the call. I have still not received a call back. While I agree it was their vendor partially to blame, it was still someone they chose to do business with and I was not given another option nor was I able to contact the vendor directly. I also believe that, as a vet office who likely puts animals down fairly often, they should inspect the product they deliver in these very delicate situations. Keary agreed with me on this and advised they would be implementing a new procedure to assure this did not happen in the future. While I do not believe I was rude to the vet, and had people with me at the visits who vouched for that, I also feel that they should be prepared for any type of emotion in such a grief stricken experience and should be equipped with how to handle that without taking it personally. It goes without saying that this was a very emotional time for me and that I would obviously be upset. Clearly, it is better for me to find a new vet who actually has compassion and will provide me with better service but I am appalled at the actions of this clinic, mainly those of the head vet tech Kaylee. My experience with both Dr. Beckstrom and Keary were good ones and it is a shame that this situation turned out the way it did due mainly to the actions of Kaylee. I would NEVER take my animals back to this vet and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this terrible experience. Read Less

We've had to euthanize 2 senior cats (15+years) over the past year. They've worked with our schedule, they've been very compassionate. I look forward to bringing our new fur babies here when we're ready. Read Less

This is the best vet clinic I have ever been to. Appointments are easy to get especially when it is important even if they are full. All the staff is conscientious and courteous. If fact, they really care and it is an obvious quality. They always explain the diagnosis completely in a caring way. I love all these people. Read Less

I took my rescue pup there and had the docs take a fecal sample as she was having diarrhea. I wanted her to be checked out in the first week of getting her because puppies (especially rescues) have come into contact with more issues generally. Not only did they not send my fecal sample out at all, they also misplaced her urine sample and asked me to bring in one on my own. They prescribed her antibiotics for something she didn't even have and were not even able to acknowledge that they were in the wrong when I called them back 3 weeks later to let them know we had found another vet who discovered that she in fact had round worms and Giardia. This is the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to. I have two German Shorthaired Pointers, Sandy age 14 and Oy age 6. Dr. Beckstrom has been our wonderful vet since the beginning of this practice. Recently the 14 year old had a extremely large and concerning growth between her neck and jaw. Dr. Beckstrom decided we needed to have a biopsy done. We were lucky. The growth was completely benign. There have been other instances where he has done great things for our dogs. This is gonna be a lengthy one - brace yourself. I have been in animal rescue and fostered rescue dogs for 7 years. I have been to almost every vet clinic in the Denver metro area at least once and been less than satisfied, at best. When I found GV Vets, it was because I live close to the clinic. I had no idea what pivotal people they'd become in my life. My little pittie angel was diagnosed with diabetes a few weeks back, and as if that weren't enough, cancer as well now.  To say Dr. Converse and Dr. Beckstrom, along with Kaylee, Gina, Carrie and all the other staff, have provided us with INCREDIBLE care...would be the understatement of the year. Winnie and I go in twice a day for her insulin shot - I've never seen any dog this excited to be stuck with a needle. That's how much she loves her best friends at GV Vets. I have had an incessant amount of questions and worries around these scary medical realities and this clinic has met them with nothing but immense compassion, kindness and most of all, GENUINE CARE and concern. These guys truly love Winnie and I truly love these people.Not only is this clinic the absolute best choice i ever made in terms of stellar medical care, it's also a place Winnie and I look forward to going. The staff make us feel like we're home and are irreplaceable friends to us by this point. They don't make veterinarians better than this. I just left the Greenwood Village Vet Clinic, and my experience was so positive that I had to give them a five star rating and a two thumbs up. So friendly and efficient. Never have I felt so comfortable in knowing that I brought my precious cat Neela to the right place. My wife took our 12 year old Maltese in for a check up yesterday for the first time and had an excellent initial encounter with Dr. Beckstrom. He is an experienced vet who is well versed in all aspects of veterinary medicine. He is pleasant and gave our dog a thorough exam, offered us good advice on her problem, did not order or perform unnecessary testing, and did not overcharge us.We are extremely pleased with the care we received at his clinic and will certainly be returning there. They take awesome care of my dogs! Especially my very old chihuahua, Lucy. She has been sick as of late due to her advanced age and are always willing to have me come in anytime so they can check up on her. Also they are fantastic with our other two dogs as well. Truly "As Good As It Gets" at Greenwood Village Vet Clinic! This place came highly recommended to me from a coworker; thank you Loretta! Called one morning to see how quickly they could get my dog, Toby, in for a check up... he had a couple lumps on his belly and neck that were concerning me. We were new clients, as we are new to the area, but they were able to accommodate a same-day appointment for us. Woo! From the minute I walked in and met BJ, I knew I had made the right choice, and was only further convinced as I met the rest of the staff. Kaylee, the vet tech, is downright amazing. You can tell she truly loves what she does; Dr. B saw Toby that afternoon and was able to let me know right away what was going on with the bumps. What I appreciated even more about the interaction, is their willingness to answer my many questions and calm my (sometimes overboard) fears. You see, my sweet boy was injured severely a few years ago and to say I'm hypersensitive to where I take him now is an understatement. Toby and I have lived in 10 different cities, 7 states over the last ten years, and have been to A LOT of vets together, but this is one of the first that I've truly felt "Wow, they rock". While getting his lumps checked out, they highly recommended a teeth cleaning. Again I peppered them with questions, and they took it all in stride. Flash forward to the next week, ready for his teeth cleaning: Kaylee was once again so kind and patient in answering my questions about the procedure, anesthesia and aftercare. I never, ever felt "nickled and dimed" like I have other places- honest opinions were given to me about what they would do if it were their dogs, even when the answer wasn't involving another couple hundred bucks added to my bill :) Toby was so loved and had so many snuggles during and after his procedures. I will, without a doubt, be back for anything relating to him, and highly recommend you visit, too. Our fur baby swallowed something he shouldn't have and they took him in right away, no questions asked. They treated him like gold and kept us informed and at ease. So far so good. I chose this place because I was looking for a vet who knew the daunting process of moving my 5 year old husky overseas to Australia.  To be honest I am not very keen to the process it is long, expensive and over whelming. I called a few places around the DTC area and the nice receptionist who I talked to told me one of the Vet techs has lived there.  So I was excited to talk to someone who can understand what the process is like. They got me in right away and administered a lot of the vaccines and microchip that she needed. They were quick, professional and very good with her. My husky and for anyone whose ever owned one of these beautiful hairy dogs can relate that huskies tend to be a bit dramatic. For example when my husky was a puppy and I gave her her first bath she was screaming bloody murder. I had one of my security guys knock on my door of my 300 17th apartments thinking I was killing an animal and I opened the door and showed him this fluffy polar bear of a puppy sitting in my sink in warm water.  Ever since then she's always been a little cry baby but I love her for it. So I was surprised how well she took the needles and all the pokes.  This only tells me the people here know what they are doing and they are quick and very painless.  If my dog didn't cry I guarantee your dog won't. I still have many visits and a long list of things that need to be done and I feel assured that the vets at Greenwood Village Vet Clinic will get us down the road to the exciting and some what scary move down under.  But what can I say no amount would make me not take my dog with me. She is my family and I feel that they will make sure she is ready when that time comes. Read Less

Dr. Beckstrom is an amazing veterinarian, and his entire staff is so friendly. They are budget conscious, but thorough when needed. We took our now 16 month old puppy in when he was only 8 weeks, he got lepto when he was 11 weeks and there was a very real threat we were going to lose him. The care, treatment and attention Dr. Beckstrom and his staff gave him was above and beyond. Leroy (photo added to this page - yellow lab in the snow) is now healthy and happy and always excited whenever we have to go back to the vet. We also have an older dog who is losing mobility in his hind legs, Dr. Beckstrom gave us a road map of the treatment starting with the least expensive options to diagnose and care for his condition. He is not ever going to be like he was and is on a steady decline but he is comfortable and we are enjoying the time we have left with him. Greenwood veterinary has always been so helpful when we've had to reschedule, when we've had an emergency, and when we call with questions they always answer right away or I get a call back within 10 minutes. They are nothing short of stupendous in my book, and with everything we've been through I trust them 100%. Read Less

Great vets. I have had dogs for the past 14-15 years and have met a lot of vets and worked with a lot of vets and in my experience they have been heads and shoulders above the rest for a number of reasons: 1. They actually care 2. They know what they are talking about 3. They have very fair pricing I unfortunately had to work with them when my dog was at the end of her life and I had to make some very difficult decisions. They made the experience as good as something like that could be. They then made a paw print from my dog and I am very grateful for that. They also have worked with my puppy and have done great work with him. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. They know their stuff. Read Less
