I want to start out by saying, this Vet saved my dog’s life. My dog Zoey, is 10 yo. I woke up one morning and she was completely paralyzed. I brought her to CSU animal hospital in Ft. Collins(known to be the best), where they gave me 2 options. They said it would cost $5-7k for tests and surgery, or, I could put her down. I decided to take her home. After researching online, I realized it was more than likely a stroke in her spine. That next morning I took her to The Kittredge Animal Clinic, where they showed me how to express her blabber, gave her pain killers and anti-inflammatory medication, and restored in me hope that things will improve. With around the clock care I was giving to Zoey, within 3 days she was standing on her own and was completely better in 2 weeks. The staff and doctors at this clinic had amazing bed-side compassion and supported me throughout this horrible experience. They called me every morning to check to see how Zoey was doing. They didn’t force me get expensive testing as so many other vets would do. I am so happy I listened to my inner voice and did not have my beloved pet put down because of the advice I got originally from CSU animal hospital. I highly recommend this clinic. They treated me and my fur-baby like family. Thank you again to the Doctors and Staff.

The best care anyone could possibly want for their pets! I have been rescuing and fostering for EAPL for over 22 years. Dr. Jeff and Dr. Diana are incredible at what they do, and go the extra mile every time. I currently am fostering a special needs pup, and there were times where I was in the office with her almost every day getting her dressings changed and for rechecks. All of the staff at the office have gone above and beyond for the dogs I have taken there.
While reading the reviews here, I saw a low rating that bashed the clinic. I think what you said was really sh*tty. Vets this good are few and far between, and I can only hope that people disregard you bashing them. Did you happen to notice that everyone else has given them top rating?
Directions are always given both verbally and are written on the prescription bottle as well. If something is unclear, call them and they are more than willing to go over everything with you.
I am highly offended by your post, Heather. How about having an attitude of gratitude for the services they provide for us at cost? I don't know how long you've been with EAPL, but your review does not reflect how the rest of us at EAPL feel about the clinic. Please remove your post.

We love this place! We moved to this side of town about a year ago and have been taking our three dogs there since. Dr. Daniels is wonderful, and our dogs love him. Being a fellow small business owner I feel as if I have to give credit where credit is due. Dr. Jeff and the entire staff at Kittredge Animal Clinic have provided our family with caring, friendly, and professional vet services time and time again. From the follow up calls to the genuine passion for their work they are truly the best vets around! Our dog Nuka has been in her fare share of trouble and still loves to pay Dr. Jeff a visit even after all the stitches, needles and X-rays. HE is my dogs best friend! See ya soon I'm sure.

Serious miscommunication and lack of attention to detail from Dr. Jeff which resulted in the harm of some of my animals. Would not recommend if you are looking for high quality care. I do not even think the pricing is fair, as we were recently given as estimate for a procedure, and then the final bill was $400 more than the estimate without any warning or explanation.

I'm writing this because another reviewer wrote some very negative things about this clinic. I think that it does need to be made clear that Dr. Whiteside has sold her clinic and moved away. I understand that this person probably saw some very bad things go on when she worked here, but her review is for a clinic that no longer exists.The new owner of Kittredge Animal Clinic is Dr. Jeff Danielson, who is an excellent veterinarian. His colleague, Dr. Diana Roberts works with him and is well versed in natural medicine as well as mainstream medicine. Both doctors are communicative, caring and competent. We have searched the mountain area for an animal medical practice who is a good fit for our family, and after years of looking, we have finally found veterinarians who we trust, who we can talk to and who are responsive to our needs and the needs or our pets.I don't want to comment on Dr. Whiteside because I never used her when she was here. But the new situation is excellent.

Brought my elderly dog here for the fist time. Walked in the door and it smelled good. Incense-y. No animal or sterile smell. Staff is very nice and caring as well as Dr. Diana. She was very understanding that my dog, Sid, hates the vet. Although he didn't seem as anxious as his previous vet so this is a plus. She worked quickly to get him out but she wasn't rushing us and answered all of my questions and concerns. So happy to have found a new vet that actually cares and doesn't look at you like a number. The dr visit price was a little more than previous vet but I'd gladly pay it and the specialty blood test was substantially less so in the end-better vet better price.

Dr. Cindy Ediger is the vet that you dream of, the lovely, supportive vet who adores your beloved pet, knows her stuff and makes it easy for you to look after your pet in the best way possible. She even puts all the records online so that if you've lost that rabies certificate, it's not a drama.I have a British Russian Blue cat - which by breed type is a chunky, heavy cat - basically a live teddy bear but not slim. Every vet I've ever come across in the US bar one other has (a) over vaccinated (b) wanted to do a totally unnecessary tooth clean (c) complained that he was over weight. Dr. Ediger loved him, thought he was in great shape, gave him just the jab he needed and sent us on our way. I'd got used to every vet visit being a trauma for both me and Hobbes and this was a delightful change.

If it was possible to give no stars I would. I was a past employee and been in this business since I was 8 rs old. I just feel its important that people know the truth about taking their pets here. This has nothing to do with being disgruntled just the disgusting facts about Kittredge Animal Clinic. I was a vet tech and will tell you these things: Dr Whiteside does not require techs to wear gloves nor does she during certain surgeries. Your bill will get higher and higher when another vet will tell you a simple change( she just wants your money). The "surgical" room is filthy and Dr Whiteside would be doing surgery with hair balls flying around no ekg hooked up to animal and dust collected everywhere. If you board your animal know this your dog will get let out for about 5 minutes 2 times a day otherwise just sat in the back. She also will tell you that they feed twice a day but she will NOT feed your dogs at night due to them getting lack of excercise Dr Whiteside feels she just wont feed them at night and that it is "extra calories" although she will tell you they were fed. I have seen so many screw ups on her part during simple wounds and stitching. Please please please do NOT go here. One more thing to tell you all is she has hit her employees harassed them, and is taking Tramadol(dog pain killer) constantly while working!

I took my 4 pets in for Discount Vaccination Day (every Weds and Thurs). Pam (the assistant and receptionist) and Dr. Cindy Ediger were both incredibly friendly, knowledgable, thorough, and patient. The tiny office was very clean and cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be taking our pets there for care.

I recently moved to Evergreen and needed to find a vet for my 2 cats and 2 dogs. I received a coupon for (already discounted) vaccination days and had heard good word of mouth, so decided to try Kittredge Animal Clinic. It's a teeny but very clean place - the vet herself opened the door for us. Pam (the assistant and receptionist) was very friendly on the phone and also in person. Dr. Cindy Ediger is incredibly thorough, patient, and thoughtful in her plan of care. She listened to my concerns and gave great advice. Vet visits are always expensive, but the cost to vaccinate my 4 pets (and she did a tooth cleaning, mass biopsy, and more at the same time) was certainly reasonable They have coupons for many services - Vaccination Discount Days are Weds and Thurs. They also do grooming and boarding. I have never boarded my pets but would feel comfortable doing so at this place. It was probably the BEST vet visit I've ever had and I really can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely be using them for my pets' needs.

I'm writing this because another reviewer wrote some very negative things about this clinic. I think that it does need to be made clear that Dr. Whiteside has sold her clinic and moved away. I understand that this person probably saw some very bad things go on when she worked here, but her review is for a clinic that no longer exists.The new owner of Kittredge Animal Clinic is Dr. Jeff Danielson, who is an excellent veterinarian. His colleague, Dr. Diana Roberts works with him and is well versed in natural medicine as well as mainstream medicine. Both doctors are communicative, caring and competent. We have searched the mountain area for an animal medical practice who is a good fit for our family, and after years of looking, we have finally found veterinarians who we trust, who we can talk to and who are responsive to our needs and the needs or our pets.I don't want to comment on Dr. Whiteside because I never used her when she was here. But the new situation is excellent.

Brought my elderly dog here for the fist time. Walked in the door and it smelled good. Incense-y. No animal or sterile smell. Staff is very nice and caring as well as Dr. Diana. She was very understanding that my dog, Sid, hates the vet. Although he didn't seem as anxious as his previous vet so this is a plus. She worked quickly to get him out but she wasn't rushing us and answered all of my questions and concerns. So happy to have found a new vet that actually cares and doesn't look at you like a number. The dr visit price was a little more than previous vet but I'd gladly pay it and the specialty blood test was substantially less so in the end-better vet better price.

Dr. Cindy Ediger is the vet that you dream of, the lovely, supportive vet who adores your beloved pet, knows her stuff and makes it easy for you to look after your pet in the best way possible. She even puts all the records online so that if you've lost that rabies certificate, it's not a drama.I have a British Russian Blue cat - which by breed type is a chunky, heavy cat - basically a live teddy bear but not slim. Every vet I've ever come across in the US bar one other has (a) over vaccinated (b) wanted to do a totally unnecessary tooth clean (c) complained that he was over weight. Dr. Ediger loved him, thought he was in great shape, gave him just the jab he needed and sent us on our way. I'd got used to every vet visit being a trauma for both me and Hobbes and this was a delightful change.

If it was possible to give no stars I would. I was a past employee and been in this business since I was 8 rs old. I just feel its important that people know the truth about taking their pets here. This has nothing to do with being disgruntled just the disgusting facts about Kittredge Animal Clinic. I was a vet tech and will tell you these things: Dr Whiteside does not require techs to wear gloves nor does she during certain surgeries. Your bill will get higher and higher when another vet will tell you a simple change( she just wants your money). The "surgical" room is filthy and Dr Whiteside would be doing surgery with hair balls flying around no ekg hooked up to animal and dust collected everywhere. If you board your animal know this your dog will get let out for about 5 minutes 2 times a day otherwise just sat in the back. She also will tell you that they feed twice a day but she will NOT feed your dogs at night due to them getting lack of excercise Dr Whiteside feels she just wont feed them at night and that it is "extra calories" although she will tell you they were fed. I have seen so many screw ups on her part during simple wounds and stitching. Please please please do NOT go here. One more thing to tell you all is she has hit her employees harassed them, and is taking Tramadol(dog pain killer) constantly while working!

I took my 4 pets in for Discount Vaccination Day (every Weds and Thurs). Pam (the assistant and receptionist) and Dr. Cindy Ediger were both incredibly friendly, knowledgable, thorough, and patient. The tiny office was very clean and cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be taking our pets there for care.

I recently moved to Evergreen and needed to find a vet for my 2 cats and 2 dogs. I received a coupon for (already discounted) vaccination days and had heard good word of mouth, so decided to try Kittredge Animal Clinic. It's a teeny but very clean place - the vet herself opened the door for us. Pam (the assistant and receptionist) was very friendly on the phone and also in person. Dr. Cindy Ediger is incredibly thorough, patient, and thoughtful in her plan of care. She listened to my concerns and gave great advice. Vet visits are always expensive, but the cost to vaccinate my 4 pets (and she did a tooth cleaning, mass biopsy, and more at the same time) was certainly reasonable They have coupons for many services - Vaccination Discount Days are Weds and Thurs. They also do grooming and boarding. I have never boarded my pets but would feel comfortable doing so at this place. It was probably the BEST vet visit I've ever had and I really can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely be using them for my pets' needs.

This is a small but very friendly clinic. Dr. Cindy has been taking care of my animals for over 20yrs. She has a special day for discounted shots and boards animals as well.I would recommend her.

I would definitely recommend this clinic! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable environment, and I found the doctor to be incredibly knowledgeable and she saved my dog's life. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else after going here.
