As of February 2021, Dr. Lori Perrow is our new medical director. She graduated from North Carolina Veterinary School in 1999 and practiced in North Carolina until moving to Colorado in 2013. Her husband is a physician assistant at a family practice, and they have a daughter who shares her mother’s passion for animals. Their family also has 5 dogs (yes five!) and 2 cats. Dr. Perrow enjoys biking, running, and knitting in her spare time.

Hayley joined the Columbine team in February 2021. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2008 and has worked in many different areas of a vet hospital. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in communications and management from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015. She grew up in Colorado and enjoys spending her time with her husband and daughter and their two dogs and being outdoors whether it’s fishing, camping, hiking, golfing, paddle boarding or riding her horse.

We have been bringing our pets (five dogs) to Columbine Animal Hospital since 2009. The practice provides standard vet services/grooming as well as around-the-clock emergency care and the latest treatments. We have used many of their services, to include emergency/surgery, over the years, and have always been completely satisfied. They follow-up after every visit and know us/our dogs by name. We always feel they listen to our concerns and truly care about the welfare of our pets. Dr "Lee" and his daughter, along with the entire staff, are simply outstanding.

We had a cat-astrophy last week! My cat literally scratched her neck until she tore the skin off of her throat. Literally I could see her trachea. No drama with her, she acted like nothing was wrong, much less that her throat was exposed lol. Regardless, the ladies here were fantastic! They took us right in, and assessed the damage at lunchtime. All the docs were out but the techs were fast and efficient, gave me a quote for what they thought needed to be done and said they would take care of her. In less than 6 hours, the had my fur baby all fixed up and I was able to bring her home that evening!
The doctor was fantastic and told me everything she did and talked to me for a good while. And they called me the next day to check on my kitty.
I’m a big fan of this animal clinic and I’d send anyone to them!

Excellent staff! Had a 6 year old yorkie in recently, he had loss the use of his rear legs and had severe bruising over most of his underside. Took him somewhere else first and was told he had a disk disease and the bruising was nothing ( $6k surgery would fix his problem). Took him to columbine animal hospital they disagreed with the diagnoses and did multiple tests and determined he was a hemophiliac ( $6k surgery would of killed him). They did a blood transfusion and all the symptoms are gone. There is no cure for this ailment but it can now be managed. Thanks again to Dr. Lee, Dr. Karen and Dr. Krista for your effort and care!

Our King Charles Spaniel Charlie has been going here since he was born. He has been neutered, received many immunization shots and had a few illness-related visits. Each time he was treated with love and attention from all staff members. We live about 20 minutes away and pass several Vet hospitals on the way but it is worth it to know that we get the best love and care here :)

I first came to Columbine for an emergency after hours visit with my cat, we saw Dr. Tim and continued to work with him in the following visits. He always explained what exactly was going on without dumbing anything down and provided accurate cost estimates for every procedure. My impression is that he is very skilled in small animal surgery and passionate about what he does. While my cat was in their care I got multiple calls each day with updates on how she was doing and once she was back at home they continued to contact me to see how things were. Ultimately, it ended up being my cat's time and everyone there was very compassionate. They even sent flowers the next day. If I get another pet in the future, I would take them here. What it expensive? Yes, I'll be reminded of that for the next few years at least. Did I feel like I was getting the best possible care for my pet? Absolutely.

There is no better vet care on the planet. I have been taking my pets to Columbine Animal Hospital most of my life. They have saved the lives of my pets more than once. And when the time has come to let my older pets go, they made the unbearable experience bearable.
They offer boarding services where I can leave my precious fur babies behind knowing they are in the best of care.
When I have lived in other cities and have taken my pets to other vets, I have always been disappointed by comparison.
My dogs never pull on the leash when I am walking them unless we are in front of Columbine Animal Hospital. When I pull up in front of the building, they can't wait to get inside to see their "friends," and pull me all the way in the front door! They don't do this anywhere else, including home. I think this says it all!

The entire staff at Columbine Animal Hospital are tremendous. They take a personal interest in my dog and are very helpful in getting the right diagnosis and treatment. The staff has a personal interest in my pet and will often acknowledge and greet him when we arrive. He is almost 14 years old and I'm convinced that he would not be alive today if it hadn't been for the outstanding care and concern I have received from the doctors and staff at Columbine.

There is no better vet care on the planet. I have been taking my pets to Columbine Animal Hospital most of my life. They have saved the lives of my pets more than once. And when the time has come to let my older pets go, they made the unbearable experience bearable.
They offer boarding services where I can leave my precious fur babies behind knowing they are in the best of care.
When I have lived in other cities and have taken my pets to other vets, I have always been disappointed by comparison.
My dogs never pull on the leash when I am walking them unless we are in front of Columbine Animal Hospital. When I pull up in front of the building, they can't wait to get inside to see their "friends," and pull me all the way in the front door! They don't do this anywhere else, including home. I think this says it all!

The entire staff at Columbine Animal Hospital are tremendous. They take a personal interest in my dog and are very helpful in getting the right diagnosis and treatment. The staff has a personal interest in my pet and will often acknowledge and greet him when we arrive. He is almost 14 years old and I'm convinced that he would not be alive today if it hadn't been for the outstanding care and concern I have received from the doctors and staff at Columbine.

Their knowledge, honesty and empathy toward our feline friends is so important especially in times of crisis as well in their every day care. Would recommend highly.
