Deer Creek Animal Hospital has been serving the veterinary needs of pet owners in the southwest Denver/Littleton area for nearly 30 years. We are a top-quality, full-service animal hospital serving dogs and cats.

We took our sweet kitty here at 9:30 pm last night as she just wasn't acting/feeling like herself for over 24 hours. All of the staff was amazing, and I didn't catch the name of our treating vet but she was caring and honest. Nobody wants to have to use an emergency vet, but if you have to, I'd highly recommend this place.

They are definitely more expensive than a lot of places but for pretty good reason, the staff is very caring and attentive. They are pretty open when it comes to treatment options and they are honest, which I appreciate. The staff is great and they have saved two of my dogs' lives when we brought them in for an emergency. I have unfortunately had to put a few of my pets to sleep here over the years and they handle everything with compassion and sensitivity. I can always count on being taken care of on emergency, and they will do payment plans if you need. Thanks for helping my little buddies out so much guys!

The people are very knowledgeable and the main reason I keep going back is that I trust them with my precious fur babies!

I've brought my dogs to Deer Creek for almost 5 years now. We have always received great service. My dogs have been very happy with the Techs that bring them out to me. That tells me that the Doctors and Techs are gentle and kind but get the job done. Can't ask more than that. Also, Deer Creek is open 24 hours so I love I have that level of service available when/if something goes wrong in the middle of the night.

I have never been sorry. The vet care he has gotten has been excellent both from his vet and the vet techs. The office staff is also great to work with. I would not take him anywhere else.

We have been bringing our pets to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for about 8 years now. They are wonderful! No matter which veterinarian we see, we are confident that our animals are getting the best possible care. Today we brought our skittish kitty, Miles, to see Dr. Cheney Lupe. During the examination he was very gentle with Miles, and he patiently answered all of our questions. We left feeling relieved and reassured. As soon as we got home Miles was a happy boy once again. Great service from really caring professionals. Would not hesitate to recommend Deer Creek to anyone in need of veterinary care.

Get past the Desk staff who are about as welcoming as the Grinch. They tell you they take the dogs out every 4 hours but I do not believe that for one minute. I know my dog’s habits and that dog was not taken out regularly and any dog on an IV needs to be walked more often. Other than that,, vets are warm and reassuring but the technical staff treat you like you have the plague. In particular, Dr. Hanson is really good; takes the time to sit down with you and discuss the short and long term issues and really knows his stuff. My issues were with the rest of the staff who really need some customer service classes. One older woman with short hair at the desk looked at me (when I explained I was military) and said.”you got anything to prove that?’”. You’d have thought I’d said I was from the moon. Grrrrrr

First time here today and I was kinda disappointed I got my girl spayed on Thursday (at a different vet) and today saw that her incision didn’t look very good so I called and the receptionist said I could bring her in and a vet tech can come up front and take a look so she did (don’t remember her name) but she said for us to come back so she can have another tech help her look at it she then said her incision looks bad and it split and needs a staple probably so I’m like shoot that’s gonna be a $100 plus since it’s after hours emergency but then the real doctor came in and took a look and said let me clean up the area really quick and we can see how it looks she comes back and says the stitches are fine and it’s just a little blood mucus type thing so I was like awesome that’s great news they did also put me on antibiotics which was fine. I was told before if everything was fine I wouldn’t be charged and everything was fine just needed help getting a little blood of the incision Moral of the story I feel like I was tricked and they were just money hungry and I don’t believe I should have got charged the ER visit since all the doctor did was clean up the blood I was fine paying for the antibiotics but not the full ER visit was very disappointed and will not be back.

Deer Creek Animal Hospital has been caring for our beloved dog family members for over 20 years now. They have journeyed with us through the healthy years and the challenging older years. We could not have asked for more professional, knowledgeable, compassionate care than what we have experienced with numerous veterinarians and staff as circumstances dictated. In addition, we have used their boarding facilities and believe it or not, our Labrador enjoys going there with wagging tail and ready for an adventure. It is reassuring to board with one's vet because we know if anything went wrong, the right people are there to address the issue. My husband and I brought our cat to the emergency care at Deer Creek Animal Hospital after taking her to other vets, trying to determine why she was so sick. They prioritized our case, took her immediately to the back, and had a team working on her right away. We had Dr. Cuban working with us and he was absolutely wonderful. Everyone working with her was very professional and knowledgeable and we knew our kitty was in good hands. They ran every test, and explored every possibility before finally determining the inevitable: that our beloved cat had an incurable illness. We knew that putting her down that day was the most humane thing to do. Doctor Cuban and the staff at Deer Creek Animal Hospital we're so kind and compassionate through the whole process. They even worked with us on pricing for everything that was done that day and didn't try to use the opportunity to take advantage of a couple that would have done anything we could to try to save our kitty. Even though that day was full of heartbreak, our experience with Deer Creek Animal Hospital could not have been better. This establishment will now be our one and only veterinary service for all feature animals we have.

The tobes loves to chase them, anyways poor guy cut his paw on the darn metal edging... need to get that stuff removed. This is the first emergent incident with Toby so we didn't know where to go or where was even open. I explained what happened to Jen she was friendly kind and understanding that I was freaked... blood all over the front yard! My husband ran Toby over and they took GREAT care of them! Explained that it might be a while due to the holiday, gave us an honest estimate and kept us in the loop with what was going on with the tobes. They even clipped his nails! The Vets did a great job explaining what we need to do to take care of him, And even dealt with the bloodied up exam room... lots of bleeding:( We are so happy they took care of Toby. Thank you!!!

I am moving to Hawaii and of course bringing my baby with me; long story short my dog needed to get blood drawn to test for rabies, and from the moment I called asking for pricing and information I felt welcome. Lee-Anne (I think was her name) stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes providing me with information on the blood draw and its process and even called me back a few hours later when I asked her to do some more research for me... what vet would ever do that for someone other than Deer Creek?! When I went in for the blood draw, our vet, Dr. Andrew Stevens, was extremely patient, helpful, and kind! My dog is terrified of men, but something about Dr. Stevens made her feel calm... she even kissed his face! To put the cherry on top, the pricing was dramatically lower than any other vet I called! I cannot rave enough about this place, seriously recommend!

It was such a difficult situation when we first came in and the medical and front desk staff were so compassionate. Dr. Stevens, Rouben, Eitelman and especially Dr. Cox have gone above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciate it. We spend most of our visits with the vet techs who are also exceptional! Josh, Keith, Lynn, Morgan, Lauren, Kacy, Kim and those not mentioned here, thank you for bringing humor to our visits.

I've taken my "fur babies" here for several years. Although the experiences have not always been pleasant and heart breaking at times; I know that they are in great care. Yes, they may charge a little more but it's reassuring and nice to know that everything is being done by experienced staff to ensure my puppy comes home. I came to Deer Creek for the first time on 12-26-16 due to my 7 month old kitten "Buddy" being lethargic and experiencing rapid belly bloat. The staff got me in right away on an emergency basis. On arrival, I was pleased with the facility and everyone was very compassionate and professional. Sadly Buddy was found to likely have Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIV.) They drained the fluid from his abdomen and prescribed meds. Unfortunately the prognosis was grim. He rapidly deteriorated and in 12-29-16, I came in with him to say goodbye. Again, the staff, to include the front desk, techs, Doctors McConnell and Hanson were exceptional. This was a very hard thing to go through and everyone was so kind to Buddy and I. The cremation services provided were also very nice. Friends of mine had spoken highly Deer Creek Animal Hospital in the past, and I see why. Someday, when I am ready to adopt another kitten, I will return for all needed care. Thank you.

Have heard it is not effective in every experience but it is an incredible improvement for my companion. Each time we have come in has been a positive experience, whether crazy busy or quite. I love my four legged daughter with my whole heart! I normally go to a different ER but this was closer and I was worried about her life. I have never been to a vet or vet ER where the $$$ is thrown around so publicly! I would spend every last dime on my daughter that means nothing when it comes to her life but I felt like that was the main concern. Yes they treated her and sent us out the door like we were just another paycheck! They did test that I questioned but the doc said were needed. I did not. I should have said that but my concern was my baby! What was said to me in office differed from what was sent home with me on paper. I was pissed and concerned yet nobody seemed to care. My daughter was a paycheck! How dare you! My princess is home and doing well however I went to her normal vet today and things were cleared up! I will never bring one of my children to this ER ever again! My babies life is not a paycheck and I hope you enjoyed your money but I will never ever ever take another child here! Extremely upset with the care that was given and for the love of God remember your patients name!!!

My aunt and my cousin take their pets there as well and I wouldn't trust any other place. The love and compassion everyone that works there shows can't be taught or learned. I must gratefully thank Dr. Ray Cox. He is not only a caring and compassionate human being but also a great, hands on vet. Riley , our 16 year old Gordon Setter, is a patient of Dr Cox. He has lost one toe on each 4 of his feet to cancer. Dr Cox took over his care two years ago. He has guided us carefully on the care of this frail but bright and energetic dog. Four months ago when we thought we were losing ground, Dr Cox put the dog on antibiotics, adequan and prioxicam. Riley rebounded !Last Thursday , he hit a fast downward spiral . Dr Cox saw him on very short notice . Once again , Dr Cox has shown his great understanding of this dog.Riley came home with us . Not out of the woods but definately way better. Everyday this great dog is comfortably with us is a gift ! Fingers crossed that Riley will live to hunt another day ! If not, we know Dr Cox will be there for all of us and alway keep Riley's well being and comfort his first priority

We have been with Deer Creek for many years and have had many furry family members cared for by their team. Although we had to say goodbye to our baby Moxie yesterday, I know the care she was given up until we had to make that ultimate decision was the best. We will miss our baby girl but when we bring a new furry baby into our home, Deer Creek and their team will be our chosen care providers. Thanks to all that were on team Moxie. I have used this vet because they are close to my home. Shame on me for not doing more research. This clinic has turned out to be one of, if not the most expensive facilities to take your pet. As far as their care? I am reluctant to take my animal in because of cost. I just found out that they want to charge me $200 to euthanize my dog.
I spoke with a friend of mine, and they referred me to their vet and they can do the same for $100, and the Humane Society charges $65.
The last dog (11 yr old) that I had, I had to put down because of a neurologic issue. After ~$750, for a diagnosis, the vet called to tell me the news, and told me that it would be another $1200-$1500 to do another battery of tests just to be sure. When I made the decision to put the dog down. The Vet put on the full court press to spend more money, and then proceeded to try and make me feel guilty. This is simply wrong!
I would recommend researching out your vets, first. Look at reviews. Talk to your friends, and steer clear of this clinic!

They are the BEST Vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, in fact I have moved down to Castle Rock, and still make the trip to Littleton to take my Dogs in for any appointments. One Great story about Markee Kuschel, she saved one of my dogs several years ago. My dog Annie was having some kind of seisure like symptons, wouldn't eat, was acting very weird it would come and go. After several trips, and lots of tests, nothing was coming up obvious. As Annie was getting weaker, and the symptons were coming on more often. Markee just wouldn't give up, she finally hit on a disease called Addison's at that time it was very rare for Dogs, she started her on a drug that at the time was not FDA approved, and she had to work with it to get the right amount for Annie. Well she got it, Annie was 2 years old at the time and Markee let us know that she may not make it to 8 or 9 due to what they knew about Addison's, well due to the wonderful care of Markee and all the Doctors, staff, and assistants at Deer Creek, Annie lived until she was 15 years old.

Just like all the other reviews, this place cared more about money than your pet. Our poor dog was suffering from a seizure, we brought her in and before the hospital members would even look at her, they wanted $$. they asked how much we had to spend. Really??? Well my wife was extremely sad and told them what she had in her account and GUESS what the bill acme to. Exactly what she had. In addition, this place is labeled a 24 hour emergency hospital. Who adds extra charge to your bill for being after hours when you are 24 hour business. DO NOT GO HERE

We had a very bad experience here. Our cat was experiencing rapid weight loss. When I took him in, the doctor said something was obviously wrong with him and he recommended a series of blood tests. The tests came close to $300.00, which seemed a little high but not excessive. I waited for a call from Deer Creek for the 4 days (per their paperwork). After the 6th day I called the office and was told the doctor was in and put to his VM. I explained the cat was very sick and wondering if they had the results back. After no call I called the 7th day and again was told the doctor was in and left another message, this one more frantic. After close to 2 weeks I finally got a call back that the blood tests showed nothing odd from the cat's past tests, and that we needed to schedule an ultrasound (i found out later that these are close to $300.00). In frustration I made an appointment with Redstone Animal hospital and asked them to get the results from Deer Creek. At the Redstone visit, they did a quick xray and ascertained that the cat had cancer that spread throughout his body and we put him down that day. I will never go back to Deer Creek but if you want a good animal hospital I highly recommend Redstone.

Unacceptable. My auto repair shop treats us far better. The pricing is the other side of the issue. Over 400.00 for a quick check and X-ray. I could've had it done for less on a human at my own orthopedic specialist. They may have a lot of ppl fooled, but I didn't like the attitude, the price, or the amount of time they left me sitting there after the vet left the room...they are QUICK to get your credit card though...VERY quick, and in advance of any help being rendered. I found that insulting.

We took our sweet kitty here at 9:30 pm last night as she just wasn't acting/feeling like herself for over 24 hours. All of the staff was amazing, and I didn't catch the name of our treating vet but she was caring and honest. Nobody wants to have to use an emergency vet, but if you have to, I'd highly recommend this place.

They are definitely more expensive than a lot of places but for pretty good reason, the staff is very caring and attentive. They are pretty open when it comes to treatment options and they are honest, which I appreciate. The staff is great and they have saved two of my dogs' lives when we brought them in for an emergency. I have unfortunately had to put a few of my pets to sleep here over the years and they handle everything with compassion and sensitivity. I can always count on being taken care of on emergency, and they will do payment plans if you need. Thanks for helping my little buddies out so much guys!

The people are very knowledgeable and the main reason I keep going back is that I trust them with my precious fur babies!

I've brought my dogs to Deer Creek for almost 5 years now. We have always received great service. My dogs have been very happy with the Techs that bring them out to me. That tells me that the Doctors and Techs are gentle and kind but get the job done. Can't ask more than that. Also, Deer Creek is open 24 hours so I love I have that level of service available when/if something goes wrong in the middle of the night.

I have never been sorry. The vet care he has gotten has been excellent both from his vet and the vet techs. The office staff is also great to work with. I would not take him anywhere else.

We have been bringing our pets to Deer Creek Animal Hospital for about 8 years now. They are wonderful! No matter which veterinarian we see, we are confident that our animals are getting the best possible care. Today we brought our skittish kitty, Miles, to see Dr. Cheney Lupe. During the examination he was very gentle with Miles, and he patiently answered all of our questions. We left feeling relieved and reassured. As soon as we got home Miles was a happy boy once again. Great service from really caring professionals. Would not hesitate to recommend Deer Creek to anyone in need of veterinary care.

Get past the Desk staff who are about as welcoming as the Grinch. They tell you they take the dogs out every 4 hours but I do not believe that for one minute. I know my dog’s habits and that dog was not taken out regularly and any dog on an IV needs to be walked more often. Other than that,, vets are warm and reassuring but the technical staff treat you like you have the plague. In particular, Dr. Hanson is really good; takes the time to sit down with you and discuss the short and long term issues and really knows his stuff. My issues were with the rest of the staff who really need some customer service classes. One older woman with short hair at the desk looked at me (when I explained I was military) and said.”you got anything to prove that?’”. You’d have thought I’d said I was from the moon. Grrrrrr

First time here today and I was kinda disappointed I got my girl spayed on Thursday (at a different vet) and today saw that her incision didn’t look very good so I called and the receptionist said I could bring her in and a vet tech can come up front and take a look so she did (don’t remember her name) but she said for us to come back so she can have another tech help her look at it she then said her incision looks bad and it split and needs a staple probably so I’m like shoot that’s gonna be a $100 plus since it’s after hours emergency but then the real doctor came in and took a look and said let me clean up the area really quick and we can see how it looks she comes back and says the stitches are fine and it’s just a little blood mucus type thing so I was like awesome that’s great news they did also put me on antibiotics which was fine. I was told before if everything was fine I wouldn’t be charged and everything was fine just needed help getting a little blood of the incision Moral of the story I feel like I was tricked and they were just money hungry and I don’t believe I should have got charged the ER visit since all the doctor did was clean up the blood I was fine paying for the antibiotics but not the full ER visit was very disappointed and will not be back.

We could not have asked for more professional, knowledgeable, compassionate care than what we have experienced with numerous veterinarians and staff as circumstances dictated. In addition, we have used their boarding facilities and believe it or not, our Labrador enjoys going there with wagging tail and ready for an adventure. It is reassuring to board with one's vet because we know if anything went wrong, the right people are there to address the issue. My husband and I brought our cat to the emergency care at Deer Creek Animal Hospital after taking her to other vets, trying to determine why she was so sick. They prioritized our case, took her immediately to the back, and had a team working on her right away. We had Dr. Cuban working with us and he was absolutely wonderful. Everyone working with her was very professional and knowledgeable and we knew our kitty was in good hands. They ran every test, and explored every possibility before finally determining the inevitable: that our beloved cat had an incurable illness. We knew that putting her down that day was the most humane thing to do. Doctor Cuban and the staff at Deer Creek Animal Hospital we're so kind and compassionate through the whole process. They even worked with us on pricing for everything that was done that day and didn't try to use the opportunity to take advantage of a couple that would have done anything we could to try to save our kitty. Even though that day was full of heartbreak, our experience with Deer Creek Animal Hospital could not have been better. This establishment will now be our one and only veterinary service for all feature animals we have.

Happy Easter Sunday to us! We turned our sprinklers on for the first time this spring. The tobes loves to chase them, anyways poor guy cut his paw on the darn metal edging... need to get that stuff removed. This is the first emergent incident with Toby so we didn't know where to go or where was even open. I explained what happened to Jen she was friendly kind and understanding that I was freaked... blood all over the front yard! My husband ran Toby over and they took GREAT care of them! Explained that it might be a while due to the holiday, gave us an honest estimate and kept us in the loop with what was going on with the tobes. They even clipped his nails! The Vets did a great job explaining what we need to do to take care of him, And even dealt with the bloodied up exam room... lots of bleeding:( We are so happy they took care of Toby. Thank you!!!

This place is AMAZING and extremely helpful! I am moving to Hawaii and of course bringing my baby with me; long story short my dog needed to get blood drawn to test for rabies, and from the moment I called asking for pricing and information I felt welcome. Lee-Anne (I think was her name) stayed on the phone with me for 20 minutes providing me with information on the blood draw and its process and even called me back a few hours later when I asked her to do some more research for me... what vet would ever do that for someone other than Deer Creek?! When I went in for the blood draw, our vet, Dr. Andrew Stevens, was extremely patient, helpful, and kind! My dog is terrified of men, but something about Dr. Stevens made her feel calm... she even kissed his face! To put the cherry on top, the pricing was dramatically lower than any other vet I called! I cannot rave enough about this place, seriously recommend!

I came to Deer Creek for the first time on 12-26-16 due to my 7 month old kitten "Buddy" being lethargic and experiencing rapid belly bloat. The staff got me in right away on an emergency basis. On arrival, I was pleased with the facility and everyone was very compassionate and professional. Sadly Buddy was found to likely have Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIV.) They drained the fluid from his abdomen and prescribed meds. Unfortunately the prognosis was grim. He rapidly deteriorated and in 12-29-16, I came in with him to say goodbye. Again, the staff, to include the front desk, techs, Doctors McConnell and Hanson were exceptional. This was a very hard thing to go through and everyone was so kind to Buddy and I. The cremation services provided were also very nice. Friends of mine had spoken highly Deer Creek Animal Hospital in the past, and I see why. Someday, when I am ready to adopt another kitten, I will return for all needed care. Thank you.

I love my four legged daughter with my whole heart! I normally go to a different ER but this was closer and I was worried about her life. I have never been to a vet or vet ER where the $$$ is thrown around so publicly! I would spend every last dime on my daughter that means nothing when it comes to her life but I felt like that was the main concern. Yes they treated her and sent us out the door like we were just another paycheck! They did test that I questioned but the doc said were needed. I did not. I should have said that but my concern was my baby! What was said to me in office differed from what was sent home with me on paper. I was pissed and concerned yet nobody seemed to care. My daughter was a paycheck! How dare you! My princess is home and doing well however I went to her normal vet today and things were cleared up! I will never bring one of my children to this ER ever again! My babies life is not a paycheck and I hope you enjoyed your money but I will never ever ever take another child here! Extremely upset with the care that was given and for the love of God remember your patients name!!!

My aunt and my cousin take their pets there as well and I wouldn't trust any other place. The love and compassion everyone that works there shows can't be taught or learned. Each person there is there because of their love for animals and it spreads to the fur baby owners as well. Can't thank you all enough!

I must gratefully thank Dr. Ray Cox. He is not only a caring and compassionate human being but also a great, hands on vet. Riley , our 16 year old Gordon Setter, is a patient of Dr Cox. He has lost one toe on each 4 of his feet to cancer. Dr Cox took over his care two years ago. He has guided us carefully on the care of this frail but bright and energetic dog. Four months ago when we thought we were losing ground, Dr Cox put the dog on antibiotics, adequan and prioxicam. Riley rebounded !Last Thursday , he hit a fast downward spiral . Dr Cox saw him on very short notice . Once again , Dr Cox has shown his great understanding of this dog.Riley came home with us . Not out of the woods but definately way better. Everyday this great dog is comfortably with us is a gift ! Fingers crossed that Riley will live to hunt another day ! If not, we know Dr Cox will be there for all of us and alway keep Riley's well being and comfort his first priority

We have been with Deer Creek for many years and have had many furry family members cared for by their team. Although we had to say goodbye to our baby Moxie yesterday, I know the care she was given up until we had to make that ultimate decision was the best. We will miss our baby girl but when we bring a new furry baby into our home, Deer Creek and their team will be our chosen care providers. Thanks to all that were on team Moxie. Your care for our family was most appreciated.

I have used this vet because they are close to my home. Shame on me for not doing more research. This clinic has turned out to be one of, if not the most expensive facilities to take your pet. As far as their care? I am reluctant to take my animal in because of cost. I just found out that they want to charge me $200 to euthanize my dog.
I spoke with a friend of mine, and they referred me to their vet and they can do the same for $100, and the Humane Society charges $65.
The last dog (11 yr old) that I had, I had to put down because of a neurologic issue. After ~$750, for a diagnosis, the vet called to tell me the news, and told me that it would be another $1200-$1500 to do another battery of tests just to be sure. When I made the decision to put the dog down. The Vet put on the full court press to spend more money, and then proceeded to try and make me feel guilty. This is simply wrong!
I would recommend researching out your vets, first. Look at reviews. Talk to your friends, and steer clear of this clinic!

I have been going to Deer Creek Animal Hospital ever since moving to Denver in 1988. They are the BEST Vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, in fact I have moved down to Castle Rock, and still make the trip to Littleton to take my Dogs in for any appointments. One Great story about Markee Kuschel, she saved one of my dogs several years ago. My dog Annie was having some kind of seisure like symptons, wouldn't eat, was acting very weird it would come and go. After several trips, and lots of tests, nothing was coming up obvious. As Annie was getting weaker, and the symptons were coming on more often. Markee just wouldn't give up, she finally hit on a disease called Addison's at that time it was very rare for Dogs, she started her on a drug that at the time was not FDA approved, and she had to work with it to get the right amount for Annie. Well she got it, Annie was 2 years old at the time and Markee let us know that she may not make it to 8 or 9 due to what they knew about Addison's, well due to the wonderful care of Markee and all the Doctors, staff, and assistants at Deer Creek, Annie lived until she was 15 years old.

Just like all the other reviews, this place cared more about money than your pet. Our poor dog was suffering from a seizure, we brought her in and before the hospital members would even look at her, they wanted $$. they asked how much we had to spend. Really??? Well my wife was extremely sad and told them what she had in her account and GUESS what the bill acme to. Exactly what she had. In addition, this place is labeled a 24 hour emergency hospital. Who adds extra charge to your bill for being after hours when you are 24 hour business. DO NOT GO HERE

We had a very bad experience here. Our cat was experiencing rapid weight loss. When I took him in, the doctor said something was obviously wrong with him and he recommended a series of blood tests. The tests came close to $300.00, which seemed a little high but not excessive. I waited for a call from Deer Creek for the 4 days (per their paperwork). After the 6th day I called the office and was told the doctor was in and put to his VM. I explained the cat was very sick and wondering if they had the results back. After no call I called the 7th day and again was told the doctor was in and left another message, this one more frantic. After close to 2 weeks I finally got a call back that the blood tests showed nothing odd from the cat's past tests, and that we needed to schedule an ultrasound (i found out later that these are close to $300.00). In frustration I made an appointment with Redstone Animal hospital and asked them to get the results from Deer Creek. At the Redstone visit, they did a quick xray and ascertained that the cat had cancer that spread throughout his body and we put him down that day. I will never go back to Deer Creek but if you want a good animal hospital I highly recommend Redstone.

The good of it is that they provide treatment. The bad of it is that the girl checking us in was focused on money and money only. She was entirely lacking empathy, warmth, or compassion. Unacceptable....

Unacceptable. My auto repair shop treats us far better. The pricing is the other side of the issue. Over 400.00 for a quick check and X-ray. I could've had it done for less on a human at my own orthopedic specialist. They may have a lot of ppl fooled, but I didn't like the attitude, the price, or the amount of time they left me sitting there after the vet left the room...they are QUICK to get your credit card though...VERY quick, and in advance of any help being rendered. I found that insulting.
