Dr. Michelle informed us right before Christmas our limping girl needed a knee surgery. Well as overwhelmed parents we didn’t know how this happened. Dr. Michelle patiently explained mini Aussie can have this happen. She was able to fix our girl up, keep cost down, and used laser treatments as part of rehabilitation! Our girl is doing great! My puppy had a wart the size of a dime on his lip and the vet and vet tech acted as if it were the weirdest thing they’d ever seen and said it needed to come off immediately. Turns out he has Canine Papilloma Virus, a common virus among puppies - yet they had no idea what it was. After removing the wart for $300, it is likely that the virus was released full on into his system after being cut open, now his entire mouth is COVERED in warts (gums/upper and lower lips). Upset with the way this was handled, we took him to another vet who knew what it was right away and explained that it has to resolve on its own. A complete waste of money, my dog had to undergo surgery and discomfort for no reason, and now his virus is worse than ever. I’m disgusted that they did not have the competence to know what the virus was since it is so common. I’m positive they only wanted our wanted our money and didn’t even care about the well being of my 10 month old puppy. Worst vet I’ve ever been to. In fact, I told a friend of mine about this incident who took her animals here too and she’s never coming back either. There are plenty of vets in the area - save your money and go somewhere else that will take better care of your pets. Read Less

Great vets. They made sure to take the best care of my cat and get her back on her feet. Ruled out any possibility before determining she needed surgery. Both Dr's respected our concerns about leaving Pancake for long amounts of time and were able to get her home ASAP. Will definitely take my animals here in the future. Read Less

Had a great first experience at this place. I took my dog in to do a heart worm test and it will suffice to say that he is a very large, very difficult patient. But Dr. Michelle and her assistant, Jolene, were tolerant and understanding through the process. I took my 5 month old pup in a month or so after we rescued her. She was spayed the day prior at another location and started throwing up the next day, I was trying to find a new vet close to where we lived. This one was the only one I could get her in at that day. When I took her in they just said to leave her and that they would do a few tests. They ended up doing X-rays, blood tests, and charged me 450$ for my dog simply throwing up. She also told me that from the X-ray it looked like her stomach was "more full than it should be" and would recommend doing surgery "just incase" she ate anything that "could" be creating a block. They said this would cost 800$. I promptly left and went to a new vet the next day, turns out she just had an upset stomach due to intestinal parasites and needed a dewormer. I was very upset with this experience and felt like they were trying to upcharge me the entire time I was there. Would not recommend. Read Less

Dr. Michelle showed concern for my dog over costs, and I trust her because of that. She seems to love what she does, is knowledgeable, finds answers, and is very friendly. They did a great job on my dog Annie's surgery, however failed miserably on Pet meds for a long trip. Recently moved from Denver to Phoenix and they kept asking the weight of my dog even though she was under there care two weeks before. Since I was driving with a u-haul it made it extremely difficult to bring the dog in.The trip was very hard on my dogs which could have been easier if common sense was used. Read Less

HORRIBLE VET. Took our cat there to get declawed and my girlfriend got a call later in the day to pick him up. She arrived and was told he woke up before they were done with the procedure and she had to get him out of the cage he was in. Note she was 7 months pregnant at the time. When she took him out of the cage his paws were covered in blood, he was shaking, and scared. The desk lady said he was a "bad cat" and that he tried biting the vet when he woke up during the procedure. They didn't offer her any follow up advice, just gave her a bag of medicine and sent her out the door. Don't make the same mistake we did, please take your pet to any place but here. Read Less

They are nice to till they get your money!!! I called to ask a question after my puppy had many procedures done and the vet answered the phone  i asked my question to only get no concern to my dogs health but to tell me my to smelled when we brought him in. Im concerned that maybe there was infection.  She was extremely rude and hung up on me.  I called back only to get the same attitude. I was told not to go to this vet by another dog owner but   thought we would give them a try but i was wrong! We took our beloved Basset Hound to see Dr. Sheila Watkins for a nasal tumor. She and Jolene offered both empathy and options to us. As a team, we decided to try to manage Mojo's pain and contain the infection until he was ready to say goodbye, instead of subjecting him to surgery and chemotherapy that he likely wouldn't survive. Dr. Sheila and her staff provided loving care for our pet and our family for almost another full year and were with us at the end, holding everyone's hand. Dr. Rice Watkins is wonderful. She took time to explain everything and taught me why certain tests are done. I loved that she showed me an estimate and let me decide what I could do at that time.
