From putting down our first dog and being compassionate to our family as we grieved, to answering my questions about rescue dogs and broken teeth, surgical options and potty training, they are the BEST. We didn’t have a vet, as we just moved, & our dog got very sick, they were able to see us the same day we called! All of the staff were nice & we barely had to wait to see the vet. Treatment wise, they were terrific as well. While they did present all the options for treatment, they didn’t prescribe anything unnecessary & treatment didn’t feel like it was being pushed down our throat like some vets do. Highly recommend! They were very friendly and took good care of my dog. They gave me a couple of different options for his treatment and actually recomended the less costly option provided i could do a little simple home care which they showed me how to do to make sure I was comfortable with it. We have been trusting our kitties to Dr. Sara for over 30 years at different practices. We were thrilled when she opened her own current practice very near us. We are now on our third kitty family with Dr. Sara. Her diagnostic skills are superb, and she keeps up with the latest research. We find her very personable and consider her a member of our extended family. Over the years she has helped us with thyroid, kidney, dental and cancer issues among others. Dr. Sara is amazing. My dog was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. He has been extremely sick for several months and almost didn’t make it. Dr. Sara has been available through it all, providing care, advice and support. She has explored all options for treatment and gone above and beyond. Dr. Sara saved this same dog’s life two years ago when he ate a corncob; performing emergency surgery late on a Friday afternoon and taking him home with her overnight to monitor his progress. We love SW Vet! We have been taking our pets there for over 10 years. Dr. Sara and Dr. Lisa, the techs and the front desk are wonderful! They truly care about what is best for animals and owners. When our sweet old pup started going into kidney failure, they were great with handling our phone calls and teaching us to give her treatments at home. When it was finally time to let her go, they were unbelievable compassionate. We brought in our new adopted shelter pup and they were conscientious about making sure he had a good first visit. You are greeted by and incredibly friendly, caring and efficient front office staff. In particular, I give my highest praise to Dagmara who genuinely cares about each and every animal that enters the front door. The Doctors are all excellent. Dr. Mark has been our primary vet and has been outstanding. She listens to your concerns. Takes time to explain her diagnosis and the various option available. We have also seen Dr. Adams.
