I took my sweet senior cat in here with some teeth issues. The staff is so nice and compassionate. I worked in veterinary medicine for almost two decades and can see job burn-out from a mile away -- no one here seemed to be just punching the clock. Dr. Ortloff was really great about calling and talking to me about everything she wants to do and was willing to add some treatments she thought would make my cat feel better. Dr. Ortloff and her team are the absolute best! I have been taking my cats to her for 15 years. She is very knowledgeable, works wonders and has a great manner with the kitties. I know she has given my terminally ill kitties a lot of extra quality time they wouldn't have had, and she is so good with figuring how to treat complex problems. I am very grateful. Dr. Ortloff and the techs are incredibly patient with me and my worries and questions. I don't know if I could put up with me and my worry wart ways. Called at 430 on a Friday for my cat that had an anal gland rupture. They stated they wouldn't see him even though the office closed at 6. Obviously I found a new veterinarian as I would suggest anyone else would. This was definitely not my first time using this office, but will definitely be my last. I would suggest to use other veterinarians in the area unless you don't give a shit about your cat dying. Read Less

I have been taking my cats to this cat hospital for about 16 years. They have helped me through some very tough times with my cats. They are very conscientious and up to date. They are caring and mindful of the feelings of pet owners. They truly love cats. I had another veterinarian make a quick diagnosis giving my pet a death sentence when it was not warranted or correct at all. I first started with Purrfect Health when I moved my sick pet to there for better treatment and I'm so glad I did. My cat went in to have 10 teeth removed on 6/1/09. Two weeks later my healthy cat was dead from what the emergency room called a 'massive infection'. The incompetent veterinarian did not use antibiotics before during or after the procedure. The stitching came out within the first few days & they blamed the cat's metabolism for breaking down the stitches so fast (they made me pay to have the stitches repaired!) Because the stitching came out, the bacteria got into her system and she died a horrible death two weeks later. I highly recommend that nobody bring their animal to this place. They make excuses up for everything that goes wrong, and never blame themselves for anything. I spoke with other veterinarians about this & they are stunned at the lack of antibiotics & say the 'metabolism' line was just an excuse for poor work.
