Joan is very knowledgeable in all areas and has been accurate in her diagnosis every time. We want the very best for our babies so this is where we go when problems arise. I switched to A Pet's Place because I am relocating to Longmont from Boulder. We went in to discuss mass removal surgery, followed by an emergency visit for another issue two days later. Both times I was extremely impressed with the staff and both vets, Joan and Jenn. I've also never seen my 12 year old dog feel as comfortable during a vet visit as she was at this facility. Proactive about future health concerns and reactive about current issues. Never feels rushed to get out for the next appt and fully addresses everything from training needs to general well-being. A Pet's Place is amazing!! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they've all been patients at one time or another. Each one has been treated with such thorough care. The treatment my pets have received has been specifically targeted to best suit each of their needs. We usually see Doctor Joan and I cannot say enough about how great she is. She really is one of the most thorough vets we have ever been to. She explores all the options, takes the time to talk us through each scenario, and offers us the best treatment possibilities she can. The rest of the staff is also great. I've had 2 very old and terminal cats in the care of Pet's Place and the doctors and staff were as compassionate and gentle as if they were caring for their own pets. And they were equally as compassionate w/ me when the time came to say good bye to my 2 old friends.. Since then I've adopted 2 more cats from the Humane Society and Pet's Place was my first choice for veterinary care. I doubt you could find a better place to be when your pets need medical care. The staff is very caring. They are very concerned about your pet. An added bonus is that they are constantly keeping up with the latest trends in medicine. My dog loves going here. Of all the Vet offices I have used in 50 years of owning cats and one dog, this one has offered services that are friendly to both the owner and the animal. I think Dr. Primeau is a great diagnostician and really up on therapies. She is skilled and gentle and caring of animals and respectful and caring of owners. The staff is wonderful too. My cats and dog receive excellent care here! Both doctors are caring, personable and  take the time to explain things. My corgi, Ricky has been very accident-prone lately (2 broken toenails, stomach problems from accidently eating a wicker basket and a sprain/strain to his back & shoulder area).
