My family has been going to Dr. Muench for veterinary care for about 8 years now for both our cat and our dog who passed away. This is a very unique vet clinic, from my experience, because it is small (2 doctors, 2-3 techs, receptionist) and very comfortable to be in. Larger clinics are often impersonal and hit or miss as far as staff goes. At Olde Towne, though, Dr. Muench and Dr. Abernathy and their staff know us and many other clients and their animals on a first name basis. This personal level of care increases the amount of understanding on both sides. The doctors are able to quickly recall the medical history of my cat every time we bring him, which makes the appointment go more quickly. From a client's perspective, I genuinely feel like the doctors always present to us every available option, including such important variables like cost and convenience. For example, certain drugs come in various forms (liquid, tablet, etc.) and they take into consideration what is most comfortable for the particular animal. The techs and receptionists are always very friendly and competent. When our family dog went into congestive heart failure, it was very difficult to deal with. She had frequent seizures and many medications to take, but we were given clear instructions and a realistic outlook on the progression of the disease. This made it much easier to maximize her quality of life and then, eventually, have her put down. Dr. Muench has an extremely calm demeanor as well, which makes everything that much less stressful for the owner and animal. Her breadth and depth of experience is evident during every appointment; she doesn't even mind answering questions of pure curiosity! These are true professionals and loving people. Highly recommended. Read Less
