14 years ago Dr. Peila diagnosed our yorkie, Janie, with a neurological issue after 2 other vets said it was an inner ear problem. After a referral to a neurologist and an MRI he was correct. Janie was given shots and medications and got better almost instantly. Through out the next 14 years Dr. Peila and Dr. McComb took great care of Janie! She had to get frequent blood work done, knee surgery, teeth issues, broken nails and other issues and they have always been open and honest and so caring. Several months ago they diagnosed her with cancer. They knew her long medical history and were honest about the prognosis. A couple weeks ago we had to say goodbye to Janie. They were there so caring and kind. They hugged us and assured us we were making the right choice. Without them we wouldn't have had Janie as long as we did and we will be forever grateful for that and for the amazing doctors and staff at Valley Vet.

The doctors here are both very good with all house pets. Our friends feel this clinic is especially skilled with smaller dogs and cats.

We had an older dog traveling with us who needed to see a vet. We got right into Valley vet and the doctor was very conscientious about treating our dog. She did a thorough job on the work up and the recommendations. She listen closely to what we had to say and worked with us in the care for our dog. This is a very good facility!

I had a confrontational experience here? By the time I left, they charged me more than five times the price for the vet visit of an Atlanta vet; The scary part was that there was a feeling I was in trouble second I walked in the door because of the breed of my dog. It was just surreal when the vet walked in the office/room, because I almost asked her “are you a real vet?” her behavior was nothing like I’ve ever experienced at a vet office ever in my life, and I feel grateful to have ESCAPED the entire environment with my animal still intact and OK

The best veterinary practice I have ever worked with. We've been coming to Valley Vet South for the 13 years we've lived in Longmont. Over that span of time, we have had three dogs and five cats, and both Dr. Jeff and Dr. Jennifer have looked over them with extreme care and compassion. Plus, their front desk staff is so warm and welcoming. They don't treat you like just a name on a file. I feel that their prices are reasonable, and while they'll give you a whole range of options on what they think may be necessary to treat a problem, ultimately they leave the decision to you. We've been through heartbreak in their office, and we've watched them work miracles to heal our sick pets. I wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else.

Everyone in this office has been extremely nice and professional. I had just recently moved and asked if they could send me the records for my dog and they did so without hesitation. If I ever move back or can recommend anyone this will be the place.

The services, price, and wonderful care provided by Dr. Jeff and Dr. Jennifer and staff, for our dog, has been priceless. I drive from SW Thornton just to see them, even though there are plenty of other vet clinics in our area. I am more than happy to pay a little more and drive a little farther just because my yellow lab that eats like a goat needs attention.

I have been using this Vet for years and they always treat my animals with respect. And they also respect my wallet, never suggesting something that we don't need or something that is not helpful. Dr. Jeff is always looking to help us save when we can and always looks after the best interest of our dogs and cat. By the way...we live over two hours away now and we make the long drive to see Dr. Jeff, he is our only vet.

Don't ever go here! When we first moved here we brought out dog here, it cost me $500.00 for 1 X-ray to find out my dog had cancer. That is a total rip off in my book, where I'm from my dog had surgery and stayed 2 nights for that price. They suck!

14 years ago Dr. Peila diagnosed our yorkie, Janie, with a neurological issue after 2 other vets said it was an inner ear problem. After a referral to a neurologist and an MRI he was correct. Janie was given shots and medications and got better almost instantly. Through out the next 14 years Dr. Peila and Dr. McComb took great care of Janie! She had to get frequent blood work done, knee surgery, teeth issues, broken nails and other issues and they have always been open and honest and so caring. We had an older dog traveling with us who needed to see a vet. We got right into Valley vet and the doctor was very conscientious about treating our dog. She did a thorough job on the work up and the recommendations. She listen closely to what we had to say and worked with us in the care for our dog. This is a very good facility!

By the time I left, they charged me more than five times the price for the vet visit of an Atlanta vet; The scary part was that there was a feeling I was in trouble second I walked in the door because of the breed of my dog. The best veterinary practice I have ever worked with. We've been coming to Valley Vet South for the 13 years we've lived in Longmont.
