My experience with Blue Sky Veterinary Clinic up until now has been a pretty good one. My dog successfully endured surgery during the covid protocols, and I was pleased with all aspects of service, medical, and business.
Then, in my opinion, I had the severe misfortune to be assigned to a DVM named Kelly Barrett. During the initial emergency assessment, she seemed to be reasonably skilled. It was pretty easy for my wife and me to dismiss what we considered her abrasive and absolutely arrogant demeanor.
Later there was a phone call with her regarding the next steps to diagnose our pet. I perceived this conversation to be one of the worst representations of a business that I have ever seen. DVM Barrett was, in my opinion, callous, dismissive, and completely unwilling to listen to my wife and me. I even asked her if she was trying to get rid of us as customers on three separate occasions. After another examination before an ultrasound through Four Seasons Vetraniary, Kelly Barrett missed a salient point from her original assessment (distended bladder), making all of her perceived arrogance unfounded and, in our opinion, made her look incompetent and foolish.
If one bad apple ruins the barrel, then DVM Kelly Barrett has the potential to ruin Blue Sky Veterinary Clinic in Loveland. Their name is permanently be tarnished in my book until they get rid of Kelly Barrett.
Note: The misdiagnosis is proveable by the visit notes. The rest of this report is my opinion and personal experience designed to spare future customers the anguish my wife and I endured With Blue Sky Veterinary Clinic, represented in this case by DVM Kelly Barrett.

Love this business. There are multiple veterinarians, all are gentle with the animals and owners. In December we rescued a cat from the Humane Society. He is 4 years old and for the first month+ he had a vomiting problem - several times a day. After each visit we would get a call 24 to 48 hours later to see how he was doing, they would give me advice over the phone if he needed it. Just awesome.

We're new to the area and Blue Sky was recommended to us. My dog is now pretty healthy (after a rough start in life) and needs routine medical care. We've now had three visits for an introduction, shots, and now unfortunately an ear infection. The vet technicians are kind and considerate and set a tone for the visit. The vets are compassionate, efficient and qualified. The staff returns phone calls asap and I'm looking forward to deepening our relationship with the entire staff (hoping my dog is never ever sick and will live forever, of course).

The doctors and staff at Blue Sky Animal Clinic have taken fantastic care of my cats and dog for at least 10 years. We have needed everything from surgeries, at home euthanasia, elder cat care and boarding while on vacation. The staff is always fun and professional. They know my husband and I by name and seem to anticipate our needs before we get to the counter. I recommend them to everyone I know.

We'd heard good things about Blue Sky for a few years, but it was when our dog had to have his hernia surgery redone that we realized just how great Blue Sky is. They contacted the vet clinic who had performed the surgery the first time, and then the vet techs all stayed late to make sure his surgery was done that day because they were so worried about him.
They love our dog as much as we do, and they demonstrated it that day and on every subsequent visit.
It's an incredible clinic, and anyone who cares about their animal should be bringing him/her to Blue Sky!

The staff at Blue sky exemplifies care and concern for animals! I had an emergency with a new kitten on a saturday afternoon. My regular vet was closing and wouldn't make time to treat him. I called Blue Sky and they had us in an exam room within the hour. SO very impressed with the staff and Dr that helped us. I've since moved my pets to Blue Sky for their care. They did great with my dog and I found them quite affordable! They also had a separate waiting room and treatment room juts for cats.

Dr. Barb Roberts is the most amazing vet that we have had the pleasure of working with since we moved to Northern Colorado in 2002. We first met her when we needed vet care for our beloved goats, and quickly switched vet offices once we experienced her level of knowledge, care and compassion. I took my dog here for a general check up and to have his teeth checked after learning he had a bad tooth from a teeth cleaning clinic. The front desk staff as well as the assistants and doctors were all very nice and seemed pretty knowledgeable. They gave him a few vaccines that he needed as well as quoted me for pulling the bad tooth. Here is where the loose 2 stars..... The price I was quoted for the tooth pull was absolutely ridiculous. Like extortion ridiculous in my opinion. I ended up having the procedure done at another vet in town who quoted me 1/3 of what Blue Sky did. I do believe they are a good and fairly caring clinic but there is no reason to charge so much when you can get the exact same service care and knowledge other places for 1/3 of the price. If their prices would have been reasonable this would have no doubt been a 5 star review based on everything else about them.

My experience with Blue Sky Veterinary Clinic up until now has been a pretty good one. My dog successfully endured surgery during the covid protocols, and I was pleased with all aspects of service, medical, and business.

The staff at Blue sky exemplifies care and concern for animals! I had an emergency with a new kitten on a saturday afternoon. My regular vet was closing and wouldn't make time to treat him. I called Blue Sky and they had us in an exam room within the hour. SO very impressed with the staff and Dr that helped us. I've since moved my pets to Blue Sky for their care. They did great with my dog and I found them quite affordable! They also had a separate waiting room and treatment room juts for cats.

Dr. Barb Roberts is the most amazing vet that we have had the pleasure of working with since we moved to Northern Colorado in 2002. We first met her when we needed vet care for our beloved goats, and quickly switched vet offices once we experienced her level of knowledge, care and compassion. Blue Sky has seen many of our beloved companions, and we feel comfort knowing the staff is top notch. Glenn the cat is quite charming too.

I took my dog here for a general check up and to have his teeth checked after learning he had a bad tooth from a teeth cleaning clinic. The front desk staff as well as the assistants and doctors were all very nice and seemed pretty knowledgeable. They gave him a few vaccines that he needed as well as quoted me for pulling the bad tooth. Here is where the loose 2 stars..... The price I was quoted for the tooth pull was absolutely ridiculous. Like extortion ridiculous in my opinion. I ended up having the procedure done at another vet in town who quoted me 1/3 of what Blue Sky did. I do believe they are a good and fairly caring clinic but there is no reason to charge so much when you can get the exact same service care and knowledge other places for 1/3 of the price. If their prices would have been reasonable this would have no doubt been a 5 star review based on everything else about them.

I have been going to Dr Romm for 25 years. All of the staff is kind, caring and understanding, especially when you loose of of your furry loved ones. They were very supportive when I lost my Basset Hound, Daisy. They have a good rapport with creatures of the four legged and two legged kind.
