I first started coming here when they were able to get my dog in immediately for a bone infection that had ruptured. They are very caring doctors that call regularly to check in on their patients. My family has been using Orchards Animal Hospital since 1990. I haven't considered anywhere else in Loveland. They always get me right in when ever my pets need to be seen, which is comforting when you have a sick pet. I also have used K-9 Grooming right there in the hospital. I have gone here since the original owner was alive. The front desk person is always so helpful and polite. The estimates they give me at this office are accurate. I don't get hit with extra last minute fees. The doctors are nice, knowledgable and efficient. We have puppies litters about once a year and they service us in a few days to doc the tails on our yorkie pups. Read Less

Compassionate, intuitive, thorough and knowledgeable!  Dr. Butts represents the finest in veterinary medicine.  Besides providing exemplary care, he explains treatment options AND consequences, both for the animal and the owner (treatment regimen and time, costs, etc.).  His hospital doesn't have all the latest gadgets, but he keeps up-to-date on diagnostic procedures and will arrange for tests and treatments if needed.  This keeps his fees very reasonable.  My dogs and cats have enjoyed long, healthy lives because of his experience and skill. Dr. Butts is great. He tells you how it is and wont over charge you. My cat was sick and I brought him to Dr. Butts he ran one test but he already knew what was wrong. He let me know what the problem was and the only thing I could do was keep my cat comfortable until the end. Dr. Butts did not try to over charge or have me do a lot of expensive tests or charge me over $40.00 for an office visit. I just brought my Lab in to have a lump removed from his tail and the cost was way below what the Dr. quoted me. And he also did a follow up call with me to make sure my lab was fine.
