Today I had an appointment 11 o’clock for my new Siberian husky puppy Nash who is 10 weeks old. The appointment was on time and staff was exceptionally professional and helpful and the most important part they were there for me emotionally. Dr. Worthington was a professional And such a kind and caring person. He went ahead and tested the fecal of my pup and found out the underlying issue which she then explained it to me and addressed everything I should do. He also gave me a great deal that other veterinary clinics probably wouldn’t do. And the best part was after helping me with my sick puppy he is also helping me with my other two dogs so they don’t get sick as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful, Dr. Love and Dr. Smith (the doctors who have seen my animals) are kind, good communicators, great with the animals, and seem to be down to earth and respectful of my wishes. I had recently gone to a Banfield because my dog was sick and that they told me about him I was having a hard time believing so I went here for a second opinion and they were amazing. On Monday morning my little buddy was attacked in my backyard, while I was at my office for 2 hours. I came home to find my little buddy all torn up and bleeding, and was horrified. The staff at Worthington was amazing, they showed more compassion than I have ever seen from a vets office. After roughly 4 hours of cleaning up my little buddy the staff went above and beyond in caring for Bowser. Everyone that has been helping me through this though time, who have gone to Worthington with me have all made comment, not being able to believe how kind and caring the staff is. It seems there's a large unfriendly raccoon in my neighborhood, that used my dog as a chew toy. I would definitely recommend anyone with a pet checking these guys out, you won't be disappointed. This review comes rather late, but nevertheless... In short, Dr. Worthington's clinic is great: knowledge, experience, care. He helped us to save lives of several pups during an abnormal delivery: he and his stuff invested extra time (overtime!) and effort, and did everything they possibly could to ensure best outcome. Also, I have been a regular customer of Worthington Vet for years (two dogs and a cat), and I can assure you that it is the best vet clinic I could find in Fort Collins area (and I tried quite a few) - understating and caring about well-being of your pet is their first priority (while most - not all - other vets I have encountered so far care more about their profit margin, and are not willing to take any responsibility for their decisions in diagnostics). Possibly the best vet office in Northern Colorado! We have been taking our pets to Worthington Animal Hospital for over 15 years (it was Carr Animal Clinic previously) and have never had a bad experience. The Vets and staff are great to work with and we trust their judgement and recommendations. They are good about looking at alternatives and the best treatments for any issue. Very friendly vets, techs and front office staff. Appointments are easy to schedule and work around if you need immediate care. The facility and exam rooms are always clean and ready for us when we arrive for our appointment. The vets are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain issues and options for any procedure big or small. Our dog had torn a ligament in both his rear knees and Dr. Smith took the time and spent multiple days and hours with us going over the TPLO procedure and all of the options available to our dog for his condition. We finally agreed to the procedure and were still a bit nervous. The procedure was a success (on both knees) and our dog who had been limping pretty badly before the surgery is now back to near 100% with no limping. We have been taking our dogs there for 5+ years and even after we moved we continue to make the 1+ hour drive to their clinic because they treat us so well. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet for their dogs. Read Less

We recently purchased two kittens from the Larimer County Humane Society. The support staff at this clinic is amazing and play with our animals as if they were their own. The new vet and Dr. Worthington are outstanding. They immediately could see one of our kittens was ill and had lost weight (she's tiny anyway). They got her fluids immediately and medicines; she is now bouncing all over the place like brand new. We have two dogs as well and I have to say they never "put on the breaks" to go there.
