UPDATE: In response to Sue. The thing is, this happened over a year ago and I was never told about the fee until now. I had planned on paying it, but how I was treated by the Vet (not by the office staff) to me was incredibly rude even though yes, I had clarified with the young lady a year ago that my husband wouldn't have to pay anything additional, because I know he wouldn't have the money to do so. But again, I had every intention to pay the amount when it was brought to my attention that it was owed, but not after being treated the way that I was.
Thank you for taking the time to respond!

It breaks my heart to write this because I used to love this clinic and used them for my dogs as well as foster dogs when I have them, unfortunately, after the new owners have taken over, it seems they no longer care about taking care of their customers. Recently, I called to see if I could get a copy of one of my dogs shot records, and was told to come by and get them. I sent my 12 year old in to get them later that afternoon where she was told that I had a balance of $42 for a shot from over a year ago and they are not releasing any of my vet records until it is paid. When I explained to them that I was charged that fee after being told, incorrectly, that I would only owe a total of $42 for the 2 part shot, instead of it being $42 for each set of shots (it is a shot that needs to be given in a 2 part series), so in reality I didn't even owe that amount in my opinion since I was not told about it prior to them giving my dogs the second shot, it didn't seem to matter and the owner told me that it is within his power to withhold anything because of a balance. When I mentioned how that seemed really shady, he didn't think it was at all! Needless to say, the ladies at the front desk are still so so nice, and even they seemed a bit mortified at what was transpiring. If you value customer service, please consider taking your pets to another vet. I plan on doing so as well, and luckily none of my dogs are currently under any specific treatment, so they will not be getting the $42 they wanted, nor will they be getting any money from me for the 3 dogs I currently have or the dozens of fosters I care for in a year, and can keep my pets medical records. I will have to start from scratch :( Read Less
