A month ago we found a stray 2 month old puppy across from Amy’s Donuts in the ‘Springs’. I couldn’t just leave it. Also a month ago I stopped at a vet nearby my home for convenience only not because I knew or trust them. At first, an emergency or walk in visit was 60+ for a visit. That was my first red flag. I’m not new to training or taking care of animals. I trained as a vet tech in 1997. My partial diagnosis when I stopped in was possibly mange when I made an appt since the fee was lower. Missed appt. so had to do a walk in since another two weeks down the drain. The day we took puppy home a month ago we did a peroxide and borax dip or bath and sponged and poured on. We did 3 of these in 3 days. So mites were killed if he had them. I also bought medicated shampooing him daily. When I finally got into this clinic, I went in with a new possibly diagnosis, ringworm. Since both are common in puppies with suppressed immune systems, I figured they would have all that was needed to make a proper diagnosis and form a solid treatment plan stronger than what I was already doing. All I got was, “It looks like ringworm.” “ I think it’s ringworm.” Well it also looks like mange too…Then I was offered a lime dip. That was my second and third red flag. I’ve had some really great vets in the past and present. I’m not impressed with their core care regimen. Well come to find out today they do not offer lime dips, and of course the so called veterinarian who treated the puppy was not all that concerned about cleaning thoroughly the room after his visit. As the other veterinarian I spoke with today 5/15/2019 she exclaimed it wasn’t something they saw much of. They must not be well versed in the troubles with ringworm obviously. It is highly common. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone who cares about their pets or even caring for a stray or abandoned animal. They did not diagnose anything. The treatment plan, was MY plan I had already been doing. I went to them and trusted them for help and care for this puppy. Again no clarification or proper diagnostics was used to diagnose ringworm. She did scrape for mites, but no mites, because I had killed them with the dips weeks previous. All she exclaimed was bathe him 4 x weekly. To me and my daughter who was also there and heard her, it sounded like she didn’t know what she was talking about at all. I’m physically disabled, and all this strained has caused weakness to my already disabled back and neck, which makes my legs weak, and I went down. I told the veterinarian that I was disabled, they had no care whatsoever. No thanks to them, the pup is recovering beautifully. DO NOT TAKE YOU LOVED PETS OR ANY PET OR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC. They really are all about the money. That is very obvious. Read Less

I came here to get Dogs check up a month ago when I moved here from out of state they seemed very friendly. They did have to muzzle my older pitbull he has high anxiety in new places but everything went smooth after the vet was down muzzle came off and the vet gave him few treats and we went on our way :) hoping today visit goes well Little nervous because my dogs got into a fight late yesterday and it’s bad took them to vet hospital and I paid 414 bucks for a pain shot and some Antibiotics they wanted over 1400 for each to be treated My dogs came home with blood still all over them and gashes still bleeding little disappointed in that however my older male was growling and being aggressive which his face is tore up some and he has anxiety like I said before but still wished more would have been done for me at the other vet :( hope small animal clinic will be helpful One has bad gashes needs glued and the others face is bad does need to be sedated to be treated. God I pray today I can get them The care they need and not pay over thousand dollars for It or Even if I have to pay more A way I can pay everything I can today and the rest on Friday my babies are hurting and I just hope I can get the help I need without having to say goodbye :( Read Less

All I got was, “It looks like ringworm.” “ I think it’s ringworm.” Well it also looks like mange too…Then I was offered a lime dip. That was my second and third red flag. I’ve had some really great vets in the past and present. I’m not impressed with their core care regimen. I am trying to figure out why some of the people there are so nice and then some of them especially a few Vets have the personality of a rock and could care less if you can or can't afford to have your dogs teeth done or a cist removed instead of just draining it. I am very upset with how I was treated today and it cost me $57 for basically being made to have my dogs teeth done and cist removed which will be $200+ Read Less

Five years later I bring my new kitten in and I had a wonderful experience also. Least expensive vet in town and yes they are always busy because of that!! Simply the best vet I have ever been to. Both veterinarians are caring, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile. I have always been seen promptly when my dogs needed urgent care, and even refunded money and seen for free when my dog happened to be allergic to her heart-worm medication. I love my dogs as if they were my children and I wound never take them anywhere else if given the choice. Read Less

Slander - review? This company is on "social media " which has "write a review. " I spoke the truth regarding your staff and you know it. Your VET told me to bring my other dog back. That is why I tried to mention when you interrupted me. Sheila, why are you trying to protect your staffs behavior if it wasn't true. Your friend Amber is sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong. She must be your friend, family member or office staff. As stated before by many, you and the rest of the staff is RUDE.. THAT IS NOT SLANDERING YOUR BUSINESS as many have said the same! Take this business off of Social Media if you have to protect such RUDE BEHAVIOR... Then Sheila has all of her Facebook friends, co-workers and the roller derby team write posts putting their nose in where it doesn't belong.Read Less
