Just because they're located in a Petsmart Store, which seems very convenient, and it being in a pet store, BUTSUCH A SCAM, they are ONLY in it for the $$!! And, $$ is their "motivation" for everything (meaning that they "nickel and dime"), including just conversation..."...you need to make an appointment..." Plus, they won't recommend checking other places for cost-effective purposes...I didn't know that you may purchase medications made solely for animals @Target, Walmart, Costco (*You do not need Costco membership to utilize their pharmacy @any location. But if you do choose to get a membership (fruits, veggies, etc. is definitely cheaper), you also receive an extra discount that their members get. I thought that any medication that your pet may need, was only available at your local Vetinarian Clinic and/or Vetinarian Animal Hospital's pharmacy, and that you do not need Costco membership to utilize their discounts @any of their pharmacies. I also feel that whatever your Vetinarian prescribes is the only option, but visiting any other Vetinarian let's you do a trial for a few days to see how your pet may feel, before purchasing a month's supply, in my situation it was 6 month's supply of pain medication. Then, it was a chore to get my dog to take the medication, utilizing pill pockets, peanut butter and/or several other options get tiresome because he would refuse to take and it is torture for both you and your animal (i.e., forcing the pills down with your whole hand, holding his mouth open & tossing them down his throat, etc.). I found out from my dog's physical therapist that there are kinds that you can open the capsule, and bread, wet/dry food just soaks it up and there are different flavored pork, beef, turkey, etc. Read Less
