Boarded my dog here. They require vaccines that my dog didn't have, but they were able to administer them the same day and they didn't cost much. I am very protective over my cat and dog (Maltese). I looked all over and never was impressed with any of the vets. Then went to Caring Hands, Saw a few different Dr. Then landed with Dr. Blackstone. She is THE BEST! She has worked with both my girls, and she is so beyond amazing. She is caring and gentle and really walked through each step with me, was SO patient and her knowledge is amazing. If you are looking for a good vet she is the one. She calls to check up with how my girls are after she sees them and returns my calls- just overall AMAZING. Highly Recommend, and this is coming from one of those crazy animal mom's people talk about!! :) Also- did see Dr. Parrish once, she was helping with my cat when Dr. Blackstone wasn't available- she too is great!!! Used to love this place but going to start looking else where. Can never get an appt. in short notice unless you pay the up charge for emergency and it really isn't. And, costs continue to rise, a bit higher compared to most places, and you almost always get out on hold when you try calling. Customer service needs to improve. Read Less

We just had our first visit with our really nervous pooch to address some concerns we had after a cross country move. She typically has a really tough time at the vet but, today was great!  My husband and I have over 20 years of experience in the pet care industry, this hospital goes above and beyond! Dr Jones listened to all of our concerns and definitely made sure we were comfortable with all of the meds and testing our girl needed. The veterinary techs we met were amazing...we even met Ashley who would be willing to pet sit! If you want comfort in mind that your fur babies are well taken care of, this is your place. This Vet offers all types of care for your pet from health care to boarding and daycare to grooming this is truly a one stop shop for all your pets needs. They have a small store in the lobby where you can get pet food or toys for your fur baby. My wife and I take our pet to this facility for all of his needs and they do a wonderful job. The staff is all extremely kind and willing to help with any of your needs. They are very knowledgeable and make sure they take the best care of your pet as possible. The one reason I did not give this place a 5th star on the rating is because this place is EXTREMELY expensive. I brought my 6-year-old havanese in for an urgent care visit due to shortness of breath. Dr. Rosenthal was patient, compassionate and thorough in her treatment and explanations as she delivered concerning news. I appreciate the team at Caring Hands that helped me get my boy to the emergency care it was determined he required. Dr. Rosenthal called report to the receiving facility, sent along test results and blood that had been drawn making it so much easier to transport my dog amidst the stress of bad news. Took my dachsund there and he has very bad anxiety issues. His previous vet he would cry and jump on me and howl while there but he was a completely different dog at this vet. He loves it here. The facility is very clean and the staff is amazing. Receptionists were very professional and knowledgeable and the tech and doctors that treated him really took great care of him. I had just recently transfered my dog Abby over to this clinic. When i was informed she had bladder stones and they needed to be surgically removed i was very anxious up until the day of her operation. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Dan Targoff performed her surgery and did an amazing job at being available when i had questions and keeping Abby comfortable. Today she is well, and very sleepy. :) I am very glad she is home! Completely incompetent girls. They were rude and lack basic communication skills. I'm waiting for a call back from the manager....I won't hold my breathe. Took my elderly boy Frank in, as he was having complications. Not my 1st time having an elderly family member let us know, he/she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge to meet up with his/her family on the other side. Nonetheless, this was and always is a tough moment to deal with. However, the staff knew we were coming and they understood our concerns and needs. They immediately took us to a room where we had time to grieve with and comfort our boy Frank. It was nice to take a moment and catch our breath, hold our boy and make sure he felt comfortable and safe. A point I want to make that impressed me the most and probably not something we want to think about when saying goodbye to our family members. However, it was very important to me. And that is that my boy did not suffer at any point during the procedure. I want to applaud the doctors for making sure that 1) they administered doses that were very appropriate and 2) they did not allow complications to occur during the procedure. My boy passed in peace. And that made me very happy, cause I loved the shit out of that kid and he deserves the best. Thanks Caring Hands!Read Less

Terrible. Had to reschedule appointments to accommodate their schedules. As if theirs are more important. I had schedule a day off of work to just make a time fit. Then they had the nerve to call the day before and ask to reschedule. Clearly they forget that they are the ones providing the service. Lost my business on the vet side as well as boarding. Dr Rothman is the best!! We will make the drive from downtown Denver because our pups LOVE her. We had our 11 year old Chihuahua's teeth cleaned today & he needed several extractions. He is recovering really well and we could not be happier with the whole process at Caring Hands. They even document the surgery w progress photos for you. I have never seen this level of detail from a vet before. We have our new vet! And they apparently have boarding & doggy day care too. I saw those pups swimming & playing, having a ball. Read Less

We chose this vet office specifically because they had an exotic pet vet. My daughter's rat has come to his end of life and rather than working with my husband to perform a procedure that would end his discomfort, they offered 2 appointments. One the times offered was during a time that we couldn't make it (because of something that could not be rescheduled, sadly) or on Monday. We will not be using this vet again because this is a procedure that would take literally 5-10 minutes to complete and it would allow him to go in peace. We've never had this issue with our dogs in the past with other vet offices closer to home and the fact that he's a rat should not make him any less important than a dog or cat. Luckily our vet for our dogs was caring enough to help us give our daughter's rat peace. Beware, you too may have to make sure your pet's death fits in this vet's schedule. Read Less

Our Vet closed his doors and transferred his records to Caring Hands. Our 8 year old Aussie had several health conditions that caused her early death. We took her to Caring Hands and they were awesome. When I called to change the appt for one of my well dogs to the sick one, the receptionist was so compassionate and gave me all the time necessary to work my way through the scheduling. When we showed up later that day, we were immediately taken to a private room with access to the outdoors to provide us with complete privacy and the ability to cope with losing our loving girl. The staff and doctor made sure that Sadie never was frightened or in pain. They gave us all the time we needed to progress through the steps necessary. Caring Hands represents all you could want in a veterinary hospital -kind staff and experienced doctors all housed in a beautiful facility. My cat, Luna, is a sweet kitty, but she is a very shy rescue cat. I was amazed at how professionally Dr. Mills was when working with Luna, quickly earning her trust and taking care of her stomach problem. We took our sweet Bingo here for the past 4 years. He had many issues going on for about 3 years including a hernia, double hernia (both surgeries done at Caring Hands) and congestive heart failure (diagnosed last March). We can not thank Dr. Jones & Hannah enough for the care they provided for him. Dr. Jones is one of the most caring individuals that I have ever met & treated Bingo as if he were her own. She worked with us in adjusting his medication to make sure that he was completely comfortable and that everything was working properly. After moving over an hour away, we continued to travel to Caring Hands because of the care they provided. Dr. Stacy Jones & Hannah (including all that work here) are HEROS! They always went above and beyond their job duties for us & Bingo. Bingo's heart failure (life expectancy was 3 to 9 months) began to take a turn at 10 months. I do not believe that he would have been here that long if it wasn't for the amazing care that they gave to him. Dr. Jones called after each surgery to check in on him & randomly would call throughout the years just to see how he was doing. Dr. Jones & Hannah were kind enough to travel the hour to do an in home euthanasia for Bingo. This was one of the hardest decisions that we've had to make but knowing that they would be the ones coming, it make a hard decision a tiny bit easier. We are very much still in the grieving process but the amount of care and compassion these women not only gave to Bingo, but also to us is unforgettable. I took my cat in this past Monday, and they did a HORRIBLE job at grooming him.\nThey did get out the few matts that he had, but that's it...\nThey did not brush out his undercoat, and I honestly dont think they even bathed him. I told the guy at the front desk that he is still full of dander, and he said ""thats normal""... I know that is NOT normal, but he was sure quick to take my $65.00. My cat was extremely skiddish when I picked him up, which is not like him.\nWhen he got home, he hid for hours... Not sure if they mistreated him or not, but he NEVER acted like that when we took him to another groomer.\nI will NEVER take any of my animals to this place again!!!\nPoor, poor, poor service!!!!
